< Mareka 10 >
1 Jesu na asiya china chivaka ni kuyenda ku chikiriti cha Judeya niku chivaka mwishilya lyalwizi lwaJorodani, imi chinavuungi ni cheza kwaali hape. Ava kuvaluta hape, uvu hauvali mukwa wake.
And departing thence, he cometh into the borders of Judaea, and to the other side of the Jordan; and multitudes again come together to him; and, as he was wont, he again taught them.
2 Imi vafarisi chiveeza kwali kukumulika ni kuvuuza, Kuyelele ku mukwame ku kaana mwihyavwe?”
And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him whether it was lawful for a man to put away his wife, trying him.
3 Netava, “Chinzi chava milaeli Mushe?”
And he answering said to them, What did Moses command you?
4 “Chivati, “Mushe ava zuminini mukwame kuñola iñolo lye nkauhano nikumutanda.”
And they said, Moses permitted to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.
5 “Ivaali kukukutuhala kwe nkulo zenu chingi avamiñoleli uwu mulao,” Jesu naati kuvali.
And Jesus said to them, On account of your hardness of heart he wrote you this command.
6 Kono kumatangilo empupo, 'Ireeza avavapangi mukwame ni mwanakazi.'
But, from the beginning of the creation, [[God]] made them male and female.
7 Cheli ivaka mukwame kasiye vesi ni vanyina ni ku ñambatila kwa mwihyabwe,
“For this cause shall a man leave his father and his mother;
8 mi vovele kavave inyama imwiina. 'mukuti kavasili vovele, kono inyama imwiina.
and the two shall become one flesh.” So they are no longer two, but one flesh.
9 Kuzwaho Ireeza chavakopanyi hamwiina, ka kwina muntu yochihita hakati.”
What therefore God joined together, let not man put asunder.
10 Havaveena munzuvo, valutwana chiva muvuza hape ku amana nezi.
And in the house his disciples asked him again about this matter.
11 Naati kuvali, “Yense yokana mwihyabwe niku sesa ungi mwanakazi uchita vusangu kwali.
And he saith to them, Whoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery against her.
12 hakana mwihyabwe niku seswa kuungi mukwame, uchita vusangu.”
And if she put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
13 Chivaleeta vahwilezana vavo kwali kuti pona chova woondava, imi valutwana chivava kalimela.
And they brought children to him, that he might touch them; and the disciples rebuked those that brought them.
14 Kono Jesu hachailemuha, kenaava taveli ni kucho kuvali, “Muzuminine vahwilezana kwiza kwangu, kanji mu vakanini, mukuti muvuso wa Ireeza waavo vaswana naavo.
But Jesus seeing it was much displeased, and said to them, Suffer the children to come to me; forbid them not; for to such belongeth the kingdom of God.
15 Chovusakusima niti kwenu, yense yasa satambuli muvuso wa Ireeza uvu muhwilezana cheniti kete naaka winjile.”
Truly do I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a child, will not enter therein.
16 Linu chahinda vahwilezana ni ku va kumbata mu mavoko akwe niku vafuyola chaku vika mayanza akwe havali.
And he took them in his arms, and blessed them, laying his hands upon them.
17 Imi hatanga lweendo lwakwe, mukwame chatilila kwali ni kukamufukama havusu bwakwe, ni kuvuza, “Muluti wina nenza, chinzi chinitamehete ku chita kuti niyole vuhalo vusamani?” (aiōnios )
And as he was going out into the way, a certain one running up and kneeling to him, asked him, Good teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit everlasting life? (aiōnios )
18 “Imi Jesu nati, “chinzi honisumpa wina nenza? Kakwina wina nenza, mbwita Ireeza yeyena.
And Jesus said to him, Why dost thou call me good? None is good but one, that is, God.
19 Mwizi intaelo: kanji wihayi, kanji utendi vusangu, kanji wivi, kanji upaki mapa, kanji uchengeleli, kuteke isoo ni nyoko.”
Thou knowest the commandments, “Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honor thy father and thy mother.”
20 Mukwame nati, “Muluti, zonse izi zintu nibazikuteki kuzwa kubuhya bwangu.”
And he said to him, Teacher, all these have I kept from my youth.
21 Jesu chikumulola ni kumusuna. Chati kwali, “Chintu chimwina chobulite. Utamehete kuwuza zonse zokwete ni kuziha kubahumanehi, imi kove ni chifumu chakwiwulu. Linu wize, nichilile.”
And Jesus looking at him, loved him, and said to him, One thing thou lackest; go, sell whatever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.
22 Kono chevaka lyechi chiwambo, naboneka kuwilwa hahulu chazwaho ni kuyenda imi nayenda naswabite, mukuti abena chifumu chingi.
But his countenance fell at that saying, and he went away sorrowful; for he had great possessions.
23 Jesu nalolalola nikucho varutwana vakwe, “Kukutu vuti ku vahumine kwinjila muvuso wa Ireeza!”
And Jesus, looking round, saith to his disciples, How hardly shall they who have riches enter the kingdom t of God!
24 Varutwana niva komokiswa kuziwambo zakwe. Imi Jesu navolela kucho kuvali, “Vahwile, ku ka vo vule kwi njile mu muvuso we Ireeza!
And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answering again saith to them, Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!
25 Ku huva kuti i kamere injile muliso lye ndonga, ku hita muntu wo muhumi kwi njila mu muvuso we Ireeza.”
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
26 Vava komokwa vukando ni kuwambisana, “Linu njeni yowola kuhazwa?”
And they were beyond measure astonished, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
27 Jesu chavalola ni kucho, “Nivantu kakuwoleki, kono isiñi niIreeza. Mukuti zonse zintu ziwoleka chaIreeza.”
Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.
28 Pitolosi natanga kuwamba kwali, “Lole, tuvaka siyi zintu zonse ni kukwichilila.”
Peter began to say to him, Lo! we left all, and have followed thee.
29 Jesu nati, “Chavusakusima nicho kwenu, kakwina waka siya inzubo, kamba vanaswisu, kamba vanakazana, kamba vanyina, kamba vesi, kamba vahwile, kamba inkanda, kachangu, nicheIvangeli,
Jesus said, Truly do I say to you, There is no one who hath left house, or brothers, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or lands, for the sake of me and of the glad tidings,
30 Yaseti natambule chamwandaa kuvuungi hahanu mweinu inkanda: mazuvo, ni vanaswisu, ni vanakazana, ni vanyina, ni vahwile, ni zivaka, chamasukuluka, ni munkanda ikeza, vuhalo vusamani. (aiōn , aiōnios )
who will not receive a hundredfold in the time that now is, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions, and in the world to come everlasting life. (aiōn , aiōnios )
31 Kono vangi vahitile kavave va mamani-mani, ni vamamani-mani kuva matangilo.”
But many who are first will be last; and the last first.
32 Vavena mumugwagwa, kuya kwa Jerusalema, imi Jesu avena havunsu vwavo. Varutwana vava komoketwe, ni vavamwichilile vavatite. Linu Jesu nahinda vamana mayanza ovele nivovele kumbali hape nikutanga kuva wambila zete chiziwola kutendahala haho kwali.
And they were on the road, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was leading the way; and they were amazed, and they that followed were afraid. And again taking the twelve aside, he began to tell them what things were about to befall him:
33 “Muvone, tukaya hesi kwa Jerusalema, imi Mwana Muntu kakahewe kuvapurisita vakulwana ni Vañoli.
Lo! we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man will be delivered up to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn him to death, and deliver him up to the gentiles;
34 Kava munyanse hesi kulufu nikumuha kuVamachava. Kavamukuve, kumuswila, kumushupa, ni kumwihaya. Kono chikwahita mazuva otatwe kavuke.”
and they will mock him, and spit upon him, and scourge him, and put him to death; and after three days he will rise again.
35 Jakobo ni Johani, vaana swisu va Zevedia, chiveza kwali ni kumuti, “Muluti, tusaka kuti iwe ututendele zonse zitu kukumbila.”
And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come to him, saying to him, Teacher, we would that thou shouldst do for us whatever we shall ask thee.
36 Chati kuvali, “Chinzi chimusaka kuti nimi tendele?”
And he said to them, What would ye that I should do for you?
37 Chivati, “Tu zuminine kwikala nawe mwi kanya yako, umwi kuvulyo vwako ni umwi ku vunzohoto vwako.”
And they said to him, Grant to us that we may sit, one on thy right hand and one on thy left, in thy glory.
38 Kono Jesu chavetava, “Ka mwizi chimukwete kukumbila. Muwola kunywa munkomoki yete ni nywe kamba kuva munkolovezo yete ni kolovezwe chayo?”
But Jesus said to them, Ye know not what ye ask. Can ye drink the cup that I drink, or be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
39 “Chivacho kwali, “Tuwola” Jesu nati kuvali, “Inkomoki yete ninywe, mumuinywe. imi ninkolovezo ini kolovezwe chayo, nanwe kamu ikolovezwe.
And they said to him, We can. And Jesus said to them, Ye will drink the cup that I drink, and ye will be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with;
40 Imi njeni yete chiwikala kuvulyo vweyanza lyangu kamba ku vunzohoto vweyanza lyangu kahena njikwangu kuha, kono njikwavo avo vava ivikiilwe.”
but to sit on my right hand or on my left is not mine to give, but it will be given to those for whom it hath been prepared.
41 Vamwi varutwana vena ikumi havazuwa ichi, chivataanga ku nyerererwa Jakovo ni Johani.
And the ten hearing it began to be much displeased with James and John.
42 Jesu chava sumpila kwali nikucho, “Mwizi avo vezibahele kuva vayendisi va Machava vava lyatilila, ni vantu va sepahala vavelekisa mulao mukando hewulu lyavo.
And Jesus, calling them to him, saith to them, Ye know that they who are accounted to rule over the nations lord it over them, and their great men exercise a strict authority over them.
43 Kono ketenikuve bulyo mukati kenu. Yense yosaka kuva mukando mukati kenu uyelela kuva muhikana wenu,
But it is not so among you; but whoever desireth to become great among you, will be your minister;
44 ni yense yosaka kuva kuvusu mukati kenu uyelela kuva chikombwa chavonse.
and whoever of you desireth to become first, will be servant of all;
45 Mukuti Mwana Muntu kena avakezi ku kutendelwa, kono kukutenda, ni kwiza kuha vuhalo bwakwe kulukulula vaangi.”
for even the Son of man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
46 Chiveza kwa Jeriko. Havali kuzwa mwa Jeriko ni varutwana vakwe ni chinavuungi, mwana wa Timea, Vatimeya, mukumbiiri wachivofu, Avekele kumbali ninzila.
And they come to Jericho; and as he was going out of Jericho with his disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the wayside.
47 Hazuwa kuti nji Jesu wa Nazareni, chatanga kuhuwa ni kuwamba, “Jesu, Mwana wa Dafita, nifwile inse!”
And hearing that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, Son of David, Jesus, have pity on me!
48 Vaangi chiva kalimela chivofu chamumbila kuti atontole. Kono chahuwa kuekeza, “Mwana Dafita, ni fwile inse!”
And many sharply bade him be silent; but he cried out the more, Son of David, have pity on me!
49 Jesu chazimana ni kulaela kuti asumpwe. Chiva sumpa chivofu chamukwame, nivati “U kole, “Ziimane! U ku sumpa.”
And Jesus stopped, and said, Call him. And they call the blind man, saying to him, Be of good courage, rise, he calleth thee.
50 Cha sohela kuna inguvo yakwe, kulotoka, nikwiza kwa Jesu.
And throwing off his garment, he leaped up, and came to Jesus.
51 Imi Jesu chamwitava nacho, “Chinzi chosaka kuti nikuchitile?” Chivofu cha mukwame chichati, “Muluti wangu, nisaka kuvolelwa kuvona kwangu.”
And Jesus answering said to him, What dost thou wish me to do for thee? The blind man said to him, My master, to restore my sight.
52 Imi Jesu nacho kwaali, “Kwiya. Itumero yako chiyakuhaza. “Hohyaho chawola kuvoona hape, nikumwichilila munzila.
And Jesus said to him, Go; thy faith hath saved thee. And he immediately received his sight, and followed him on the road.
