1 Kuamana ni mutendo u va zumine, ka kwina intuso kwangu ya ku mi ñolela.

And concerning the ministration by the saints, it would be superfluous for me to write to you:

2 Ni zi kuamana ni intakazo zenu, zi ni va li tunduvuli kazo ku vantu va Masedonia. Ni va va wambili kuti ma Achaia va kwete vali vakanya ku zwa chilimo chi va mani. Ku tundamena kwenu ku va susuwezi vungi bwavo ku panga.

for I know the goodness of your mind; and therefore I gloried of you before the Macedonians, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath excited many.

3 Hanu ni vatumi vakwetu ili kuti kuli tunduvula kwetu ku ama ninwe kanzi kuvi ni kusava ni initi, mi ili kuti mulitukise, sina Mu ni vateli mo mu swanela ku vila.

Yet I sent the brethren, lest the glorying with which we have gloried in you in regard to this matter, should prove vain; and that ye, as I said, may be ready;

4 Kwando vulyo, haiva zumwi ku Masedonia wiza ku miwana ni musali tukiseze, mu tu swave - kese ni wambe chimwi kwenu-cha ku va ni vuisepo kwenu.

so that, if the Macedonians should come with me, and should find you unprepared, we-not to say, ye-should be put to shame for that glorying in which we gloried.

5 Mi chi nazeza kuti kwina intuso kuti mukumbile vakwetu kwiza kwenu mi ni kwiza ku vakanya cha ku litahanela che impo i mu va sepise. Ichi ku lukela kuti va vakanye sina imbuyoti, isiñi sina chimwi chi muhambilizwe.

Therefore I was careful to request these my brethren, to go before me unto you, that they might make up this benefaction, of which ye were advised long before to have it ready, as being a benefaction, and not a matter of cupidity.

6 Initi njei: iye mwine yo byala cho vuche mwa sinze cho vuche, mi iye yo byala che ivaka lye mbuyoti naye vulyo mwa sinze che mbuyoti.

And this I say: He that soweth sparingly, shall also reap sparingly; and he that soweth bountifully, shall also reap bountifully.

7 Mu siye zumwi ni zumwi ahe mwa lelele mwi inkulo ya kwe. Kanzi ahi che iswavite kapa ku ha mbilizwa. Ka kuti Ireeza usuni muhi yo sangite.

Every man, according to his own views, not with sadness, not by constraint: for the Lord loveth a joyous giver.

8 Mi Ireeza u wola ku tenda imbuyoti yonse ku ekeza chenu, ili kuti, inako yo nse, mu zintu zonse, muve ni zonse zi musaka. Mu kuve vulyo kuti mu ekeza zilotu zonse zitendwa.

For it is in the power of God, to make all good abound to you, so that ye may have, at all times, and in every thing, what is sufficient for you; and may abound in every good work.

9 Vo vulyo sina ha ku ñoletwe. “Ava ava aveli vuhumi bwakwe ku va humanehi. Ku luka kwa kwe kwi kalilile.” (aiōn g165)

As it is written, He hath dispersed and given to the poor; and his righteousness is established for ever. (aiōn g165)

10 Iye yo ha imbuto ku yo lima ni ku byala ni chinkwa cha zilyo, mi naye kaekeze i mbuto yenu ya ku byala. Ka ekeze ku sinza kwenu kwa ku luka.

Now he that giveth seed to the sower, and bread for food, may he give and multiply your seed, and increase the fruits of your righteousness:

11 Ka mu humiswe monse ili kuti muhe cha vungi. Iyi ka ilete kuha vuitumelo kwa Ireeza ku zwilila kwetu.

so that in every thing, ye may be enriched unto all liberality, to the completion of our thanksgiving to God.

12 Cha ku hinda uwu mutendo isiñi vulyo ku saka vutokwi ku va zumine. Mi i ekeza muzimpangaliko za kuha cho ku litumela kwe Ireeza.

For the performance of this ministration, not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is also rich in many thanksgivings to God.

13 Kakuti cha ku tatuviwa kwenu ni ku vonisisa cheyi mitendo, namwe vulyo ka muhe ikanya kwe Ireeza cha ku kuteka ku wamba ivangeli ya Kirisite. Namwe ka muhe ikanya kwe Ireeza cha vungi bwe impo zenu mi ni ku vonse.

For on account of the test of this ministration, we glorify God, that ye do subject yourselves to the profession of the gospel of the Messiah, and that in your liberality, ye communicate with them and with all men:

14 Va mi tavele, mi va kwete ku mi lapelela. Vapanga izi che vaka lya musa mungi we Ireeza wina mwenu.

and they put up prayer for you, with much love, because of the abundance of the grace of God that is upon you.

15 Mi vuitumelo vungi vu ve kwe Ireeza cha impo yakwe isa woleki ku tatuluswa!

Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.
