1 Timotea 1
1 Paulusi, muapositola wa Chrisite Jesu kuya che intaelo ya Ireeza mu hazi wetu ni Chrisite Jesu i nsepo yetu,
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus according to the commandment of God our Savior, and Christ Jesus our hope;
2 kwa Timotea, mwana we niti mwi ntumelo: Chisemo, inse ni nkozo izwa kwa Ireeza Ishetu ni Chrisite Jesu Simwine wetu.
to Timothy, my true child in faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 Ubu muniba kukumbilili kuti upange hani bakukaya kwa Masedonia, wikale mwa Efese kuti uwole kuha intaelo kubamwi bantu kuti sanzi baruti intuto ingi.
As I urged you when I was going into Macedonia, stay at Ephesus that you might command certain people not to teach a different doctrine,
4 Nikusa ntekeleza kuma tangu asa mani amasika. Izi zileta kupanga inkani kuhita kutusa mulelo wa Ireeza, iri che ntumelo.
neither to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which cause speculation, rather than God's stewardship, which is in faith—
5 Hanu cwale ma manimani omu lao i rato lizwa kwi nkulo i chenete, kuzwilila kwi izwalo ilotu, ni kuzwililila kwi tumelo ina buniti.
but the goal of this command is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith;
6 Bamwi batu baba kwangi kusika hama manimani kono baba sanduki nokutanga kuwamba zobuhafu.
from which things some, having missed the mark, have turned aside to vain talking;
7 Basaka kuba maruti womu lao, kono kaba zuwi sisi zibawamba kamba ondelelwa hateni.
desiring to be teachers of the law, though they understand neither what they say, nor about what they strongly affirm.
8 Kono twizi kuti mulao wina hande haiba zumwi usebelisa chenswanelo
But we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully,
9 Mi tuzizi izi, kuti mulao kena uba pangilwa muntu yolukite, konu kubantu ba sena mulao niba kwenuheli, nibantu basena Ireeza, niba panga zivi, mi nabana ba sezi Ireeza niba fosahere. Linu uba pangilwa bana behaya bashemi bavo baba kwame nibanakazi, ni behayi.
as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their father or mother, for murderers,
10 nibantu bapanga zabushahi, mukwame yozumina kusandulwa mwanakazi, abo bahiba bantu nikubapanga batanga, ba pono, ipanki za mapa, mi nizintu zose zisena initi niku lwanisa intaelo.
for the sexually immoral, for men who have sexual relations with men, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and for whatever else is contrary to sound teaching;
11 Izi intaelo ziyendelela ni kanya ye linzi lifuyawile kwa Ireeza ilyo lini bahewa.
according to the Good News of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
12 Nili tumela kwa Chresite Jesu iye Fumweetu. Aba ni konzi, kakuti aba ni hindi kuti ni sepahala, mi nikuni bika ha musebezi.
And I thank him who enabled me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he counted me faithful, appointing me to service;
13 Nibali nimunyazerizi, ni munyandisi nimu kwame yonyandisa. Kono niba tambuli chishemo ka kuli niba kupanga nini sezi nikusazumina.
although I was before a blasphemer, a persecutor, and insolent. However, I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
14 Kono chisemo cha fumwangu chiba kezi kwangu ni tumelo mwi lato lina kwa Christ Jesu.
The grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
15 Ili iñusa lisepahala ni kuswanela mi nikuzuminiwa, kuti Christ Jesu aba kezi mwifasi kwiza kuhaza mu eza libi. Ime nji niwa mamani mani kwezi.
The saying is faithful and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
16 Mi keli ibaka niba hewa chisemo, kuhitiliza, Christ Jesu u wola kutondeza kuli keta kose. Aba pangi izi nili mutala kwabo basepa kwali mubuhalo bunhya. (aiōnios g166)
However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might display all his patience, for an example of those who were going to believe in him for everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
17 Linu ku Mulena wakale, ya saboli, ya sabonwa, Ireeza yenke, ikute, nikanya, nikutwala kusa manu mani. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
18 Nibika iyi intaelo ha busu bwenu, Timotea, mwanangu. Nizipanga izi kuyendelela ni chipolofita chiba wambwa kwako, iri kuti kupangila kuti winjile mwindwa indotu.
This instruction I commit to you, my child Timothy, according to the prophecies which led the way to you, that by them you may wage the good warfare;
19 Uzi pange izi kuti ube mwi tumelo ni izwalo ilutu. bamwi batu baba kani izi ni kumina ka kuti lye ntumelo.
holding faith and a good conscience; which some having thrust away made a shipwreck concerning the faith;
20 Baswana sina Imenca ni Alexandere, abo vaniva tambiki kwa Satani iri kuti valutwe kusa yefula.
of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I delivered to Satan, that they might be taught not to blaspheme.
