< 1 Timotea 5 >
1 Kanji ukalimeri mukwame mukulwana. Kono, umuhinde naye uvu avali nji veso. Uhinde milombwana uvu vache banko ve chikwame.
Rebuke not an elder, but exhort him as a father; the younger men as brothers:
2 U hinde vakulwakazi uvu vashemi ve chanakazi, mi vakazana uvu bachizyako muku jolola konse.
the elderly women as mothers; the younger women as sisters, in all purity.
3 Mukuteke va shaminine, vashamine luli.
Honor widows who are truly widows.
4 Kono haiva va shamine vena vana kapa vehwa, muva siye pili va tondeze ikute mu mazuvo avo. Muva siye va vozekeze vashemi vavo, kakuli ichi chi tavisa kwe Ireeza.
But if any widow has children, or grandchildren, let them first learn to show piety to their own house, and to give benefactions to their ancestors: for this is acceptable in the sight of God.
5 Kono yo shamine ze niti mi ushele yenke. U vika insempo yakwe kwa Ireeza. Inako yonse ushala ni nkupo ni ntapelo masiku ni kamwi konse.
She who is truly a widow, and left alone, hopes in God, and abides in prayers and supplication night and day;
6 Nihakuva vulyo, mukulwakazi uhala che minyaka ufwire, nanga ha sihala.
but she who is wanton is dead though living.
7 Mi ukutaze izi zintu ili kuti kanji vavi niku nyazwa.
Indeed command these things, in order that they may be blameless.
8 Kono haiva zumwi ka lukisezi va kwakwe, sihulu vana vo mwi nzuvo yakwe, wa sampula intumelo mi uswana fela sina ya seli mulumeli mane ni kuhita.
But if any one provides not for his own, and especially those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
9 Muzuminine mukulwakazi ku ñoliswa kuva hava ni zirimo zi sena mwikonde yezirimo ziska he kumi lyeminwe ye yaza lyonke ni chonke, yo sestwe kumukwame yenke.
Let a widow not be taken into account under three score years, the wife of one husband,
10 Uswanera kwiziveka che mitendo milotu, nangati kuti yo kuvavalera vahwire, kamba avali ku amuhera bazwahule, kamba ava kushanja matende ava vazumini, kamba ava tusi ni kuhoza vanyandiswe, kamba avali kulitulite ku misevezi yonse milotu.
being witness in beautiful works; if she has brought up children, if she has entertained strangers, if she has washed the feet of saints, if she has succored those in tribulation, if she has followed in every good work.
11 Kona kuva fwamini vasiri bahwire, uva kanine kuva ñola ha mukoloko. Kakuli chiva tambika miviri yavo kwi takazo kulwisa Keresite, va sisaka kusesa.
But reject the younger widows: for when they may wax wanton against Christ, they wish to marry;
12 Cheyi inzira baliwana va ni mulandu kakuli chiva chola itayero ya matangiro.
having condemnation, because they have rejected their first faith:
13 Hape valiwana chive na kumilapero ya maswaniso. Vatanga kuya vuzimboka zimboka muma zuvo ni mazuvo. Insiñi fera kusanduka vasekali, kono vasanduka va soha ni valeta i fapano. Vatanga kuwamba zintu ziva swaneri kuwamba.
and at the same time they learn to be idle, going about houses; and not only idle, but also loquacious even busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
14 Iri linu nisaka vakulwakazana kusesa, kuzala vana, ku vavalera mazuvo, iri kuli kanji vahi muvilala chivaka cho kutu nyasa mukupanga vuvi.
Therefore I wish the younger women to marry, to raise up children, to rule the house, to give no occasion to the adversary for the sake of reproach;
15 Kakuli bamwi chivava sanduki kuya kwa Satani.
for already certain ones have turned away after Satan.
16 Haiva kuvamwi vanakazi vazumine kwina wina vava shaminini, mumusiye ava tuse, iri kuli ikereke kanji i lemezwa ahulu, iri kuli ikereke i tuse vana vasena vava tusa.
If any faithful woman has widows, let her support them, and let not the church be burdened; in order that she may give her attention to those who are truly widows.
17 Uzuminine va kulwana va vusa hande kuti vahewe ikute kovere, sihulu hulu avo vasebeza mu linzwi ni mukuli ruta.
Let the elders who stand before the people beautifully, be considered worthy of double remuneration, especially those laboring in the word and teaching.
18 Kakuti iñolo liti, “kanji uviki muhala kukaholo ke mpulu chiyi kwete kusinza vuheke,” mi “Yoseveza uswanera itifo yakwe.”
For the scripture says, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn: and, The laborer is worthy of his hire.
19 Kanji utambuli muzeko u yama muntu mukulwana kwanda yokuti kwina impanki zo vere kamba zo tatwe.
Bring not an accusation against an elder, except before two or three witnesses.
20 U kalimere vapanga chivi havusu bwa vonse iri kuli vamwi valitute kiuvali.
Convict those who sin before all, in order that the rest may also have fear.
21 Ime ni kulayera havusu bwa Ireeza ni havusu bwa Keresite Jesu mane vulyo nihavusu bwa mañiroyi aketetwe,
I testify before God, and Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you must guard these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.
22 kuti u kwate inzi tayero nikusena kulikumusa mi kanji upangi chihi ne chihi cheva ni chiyaluluti. Kanji uli yaviri muchivi cho zumwi miuntu. Uvone kuti uli chenisa.
Lay hands quickly on no one, and be not partaker of other men's sins.
23 Kanji uzwiri havusu kunwa menzi vulyo. linu, u swanera kunwa ni waine inini kupangira ivumo lyako ni kulwalanga kwako.
Keep yourself pure. No longer drink water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and on account of your frequent sickness.
24 Zivi zabamwi vantu ziziveka niku boneka hanze, mi vayenda muzili kuya mwikantulo. Kono zimwi zivi zichilira inako zana.
The sins of some men are manifest beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they also follow after:
25 Chokuswana, Imwi misevezi milotu iyalukite ivoneka hekanza, mi yimwi kaioloi ku ungulwa.
likewise truly are good works manifested beforehand; and those which are otherwise are not able to be hidden.
