1 Nga ke in tamulel se luk pa kom, Ac in nina kiuk ah pa katiti kom ke titi lal uh, Na nga fin sun kom inkanek uh, Nga lukun ngokya motom ac mwet uh ac tia suk lah efu.
O that thou [wert] as my brother, that was nourished at the breasts of my mother! [when] I should find thee without, I would kiss thee; yes, I should not be despised.
2 Nga lukun uskomla nu lohm sin nina kiuk, Kom in tuh luti nu sik ouiyen lungse uh. Nga lukun sot pac wain keng ac wo emah uh nu sum, Ac kom ac pula sronin pomegranate sunuk uh.
I would lead thee, [and] bring thee into my mother's house, [who] would instruct me: I would cause thee to drink of spiced wine of the juice of my pomegranate.
3 Nga ilung lac paol lasa, Ac lac paol layot kafisyuyang nu yorol.
His left hand [should be] under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.
4 Wulema nu sik, mutan Jerusalem, Lah kowos fah tia oru kutena ma in lusrong pacl in pwar lasr uh.
I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that ye stir not, nor awake [my] love, until he please.
5 Su mutan se fahsru yen mwesis ah me, Fungfungla ke mwet se ma el lungse yohk? Verse Lun Mutan Se Nga okaskomyak ye sak apple soko ah, Yen se ma kom tuh isusla we ah.
Who [is] this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple-tree: there thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth [that] bore thee.
6 Kaliya insiom tuh in tia lungse kutena mwet sayuk; Nimet kom kafisya sie pacna mwet nu iniwom sayuk. Lungse uh ku, oana misa; Ac nunkeyen lungse uh fokoko oana kulyuk uh. Lungse ac ngutyak oana sie e firir Ac lalelik oana sie e lulap ma ac liksreni esukak acn uh. (Sheol h7585)
Set me as a seal upon thy heart, as a seal upon thy arm: for love [is] strong as death; jealousy [is] cruel as the grave: the coals of it [are] coals of fire, [which hath] a most vehement flame. (Sheol h7585)
7 Kof uh tia ku in fwela, Ac wangin pac sronot ku in konela. Tusruktu mwet se fin ke molela lungse ke kasrpal, Nunak in sufan mukefanna pa el ac eis kac uh.
Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.
8 Oasr tamtael fusr se wiasr, Ac srakna srik tetel. Mea kut ac oru nu sel Fin oasr mukul ke payuk sel?
We have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for?
9 El fin oana sie pot Na kut ac musaela sie tower silver fac. Ac el fin oana sie srungul Na kut ac fah nawella ke sak cedar.
If she [is] a wall, we will build upon her a palace of silver: and if she [is] a door, we will inclose her with boards of cedar.
10 Pot soko pa nga, Ac titi luk uh pa tower kac. Mukul se nga lungse uh etu lah ke nga welul uh Nga konauk insewowo ac misla.
I [am] a wall, and my breasts like towers: then was I in his eyes as one that found favor.
11 Oasr ima in grape se lal Solomon In acn se pangpang Baal Hamon. Oasr mwet ima ma orekmakin acn sac, Ac kais sie selos moli nu sel ke sie tausin ipin mani silver.
Solomon had a vineyard at Baal-hamon; he let out the vineyard to keepers; every one for the fruit of it was to bring a thousand [pieces] of silver.
12 Solomon, eis ipin silver tausin lom an, Ac sang luofoko nu sin mwet ima uh. A funu nga, oasr ima in grape luk sefacna!
My vineyard which [is] mine, [is] before me: thou, O Solomon, [must have] a thousand, and those that keep the fruit of it two hundred.
13 Mutan saok sik, lela nga in lohng pusrem inima uh me, Mwet kawuk luk elos soano in lohng ke kom ac kaskas.
Thou that dwellest in the gardens, the companions hearken to thy voice: cause me to hear [it].
14 Kuiyuk, yume nu yuruk oana soko gazelle, Oana soko deer mukul fusr fineol uh, yen mahsrik keng uh kap we.
Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of spices.
