< Fwackyuk 18 >

1 Tukun ma inge nga liye sie pac lipufan oatui inkusrao me. Oasr ku lulap lal, ac wolana lal kalmelik faclu nufon.
After these things I saw another angel coming down out of the heaven, having great authority; and the earth was lighted with his glory.
2 El wowoyak ke sie pusra lulap ac fahk, “El musalla! Babylon kulana el musalla! Inge, ngun fohkfok ac demon, ac kain in won fohkfok ac srungayuk nukewa pa muta we.
And he cried with a strong voice, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and has become the habitation of demons, and the hold of every unclean spirit, and the den of every unclean and hateful bird;
3 Mutanfahl nukewa elos nim ke wain lal — wain ku lun moul in kosro lal. Tokosra lun faclu elos kosro yorol, ac mwet kuka lun faclu elos kasrupi ke sripen yoklana lungse lal nu ke moul in kosro.”
because all nations have fallen of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich from the costliness of her delicacy.
4 Na nga lohng sie pac pusra inkusrao me fahk, “Mwet luk, kowos in kaingla liki siti sac! Illa liki, Tuh kowos in tia ipeis ke ma koluk lal; Ac kowos in tia wi eis kaiyuk nu sel!
And I heard another voice out of the heaven, saying, Come out from her, my people, in order that you may not partake of her sins, and in order that you may not receive of her plagues;
5 Tuh ma koluk lal ilusyukyak nwe sun inkusrao, Ac God El esam orekma koluk lal.
because her sins have mounted up to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.
Give unto her as indeed she has given, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she mixed, mix unto her double:
7 Sang in yohk mwe keok ac asor nu sel In oana lupan wolana ac mwe kasrup el tuh sifacna insewowo kac. El fahk nu sel sifacna mu: ‘Nga kasra se, ac nga muta fin tron luk! Ke sripen wangin mukul tumuk, Nga fah tia pulakin asor lun katinmas!’
as to so many things as she has glorified herself, and lived wantonly, give unto her so much torment and sorrow. Because she says in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow; and I see no sorrow;
8 Ke sripa se inge, mwe akkeok nu sel ac fah sonol ke len sefanna — Mas upa, asor, ac sracl. Ac el fah firirla ke e, Mweyen Leum God, su nununkal, El arulana ku.”
therefore in one day shall her plagues come, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burnt up with fire: because God, the one judging her, is a mighty Lord.
9 Tokosra lun faclu su tuh kosro yorol ac welul ke lung lun ikwa lal elos wowoyak ac tung ke siti uh ke elos ac liye kulasr lun e ma esukulak.
And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication with her, and lived wantonly, will weep and wail over her, when they may see the smoke of her burning,
10 Elos ac tu loessula mweyen elos sangeng in wi ipeis ke keok lal. Elos fahk, “Pakomuta Babylon! Pakomuta siti lulap ac ku sac! Kaiyuk kom ke ao sefanna!”
and standing afar off on account of the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, the great city, the strong city, Babylon! because in one hour thy judgment came.
11 Mwet kuka lun faclu elos oayapa wowoyak ac tung kacl, mweyen wanginla mwet sifil moli mwe kuka lalos.
And the merchants of the earth are weeping and mourning over her; because no one any longer buys their merchandise:
12 Wanginla mwet moli gold, silver, eot saok, ac pearl; nuknuk linen srik eoa, nuknuk sroninmutuk, silk, ac nuknuk srusra firirrir; ac kain in sak keng ac yohk molo, ac ma orekla ke ivory, bronze, osra, ac marble;
their merchandise of gold, and of silver, and of precious stones, and of pearls, and of fine linen; and of purple, and of silk, and of scarlet, and all thyine wood, and every vessel of ivory, and every vessel of most valuable wood, and of brass, and of iron, and of marble;
13 oayapa cinnamon, mwe akyuye mongo, ma keng, myrrh, ac franku; wain ac oil, flao ac wheat, cow ac sheep, horse ac chariot, ac oayapa mwet su kohs.
and cinnamon, and amomum, and incense, and myrrh, and libation, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and cattle, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and bodies and souls of men;
14 Mwet kuka elos fahk nu sel, “Ma wo nukewa ma kom lungse ac rapkui wanginla, ac mwe kasrup lom nukewa ac oasku lom wanginla pac, ac kom ac fah tia ku in sifil konauk!”
and the fruit of thy soul's inordinate desire has departed from thee; and all things bright and shining have perished from thee, and they will no longer find them.
15 Mwet kuka su kasrupi ke elos orek kuka in siti sac, elos tu loessula ke sripen elos sangeng in ipeis ke keok lal. Elos ac wowoyak ac tung,
The merchants of these things, who have grown rich from her, will stand a long way off on account of the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning;
16 ac fahk, “Pakomuta na pwaye siti lulap se ingan! Meet el lungse nukum nuknuk linen, sroninmutuk, ac srusra firirrir, ac el naweyukla ke gold, eot saok, ac pearl pukanten!
saying, Alas, alas, the great city, clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and gilded with gold, and precious stone, and pearl! because in one hour so great riches have come to desolation.
17 Ac in ao sefanna mwe kasrup lal inge nukewa tuhlac!” Captain ac selu ac mwet wi oak nukewa, oayapa elos nukewa su eis mwe kapak lalos meoa, elos tu loessula,
And every pilot, and every one sailing to the place, both the sailors and so many as traverse the sea, stood a long way off,
18 ac wowoyak ke elos liye kulasr lulap ke e se ma esukak siti sac, ac fahk, “Wangin sie pac siti oana siti lulap se inge!”
and they continued to cry seeing the smoke of her burning, saying, Who is like unto the great city?
19 Ac elos sisak fohkfok nu fin sifalos in akkalemye asor lalos, ac wowoyak ke tung ac fahk, “Pakomuta siti lulap sac, acn se ma mwet nukewa su oasr oak okoalos fin meoa uh elos eis mwe kasrup lalos we! A in ao sefanna mwe kasrup lal nukewa wanginla!”
And they continued to cast dust upon their heads, and cry, weeping and mourning, saying, Alas, alas, the great city, in which all those having ships in the sea became rich from her costliness! that in one hour she is made desolate.
20 Acn inkusrao ac kowos nukewa su muta we, kowos in enganak mweyen sikiyukla el! Kowos in enganak, mwet lun God, mwet sap, ac mwet palu, tuh God El nununkal ac sang kai nu sel ke ma el tuh oru nu suwos!
Rejoice over her, O heaven, and the saints, and the apostles, and the prophets; because God has judged your judgment from her.
21 Ac sie lipufan na ku el srukak sie eot oana lupan eot in ilil lulap, ac sisla nu meoa ac fahk, “Pa inge luman ma ac orek nu ke siti lulap Babylon: ac fah liksreni sisila el ac el fah tili ac tia ku in sifil otyak.
And one strong angel lifted up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with a mighty fall shall Babylon the great city, be cast down, and can be found no more.
22 Pusren on lun mwet srital ke harp ac pusralos su on, ac elos su srital ke flute ac mwe ukuk fah tia sifil lohngyuk in kom! Wangin mwet pah in orekma ke kutena kain ac fah sifil liyeyuk in kom, ac pusren eot in ilil fah tia sifilpa lohngyuk!
And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and flute-players, and trumpeters, shall no more be heard in thee; and every artificer of every art shall no more be found in thee; and the sound of the mill shall no longer be heard in thee;
23 Wangin mwet ac sifil liye kalmen lam in kom, ku lohng kusen wuleang lun mwet marut in kom. Mwet kuka lom pa ku ac pwengpeng emeet fin faclu nufon, ac kom kiapela mwet nukewa fin faclu ke susfa lom!”
and the light of a candle shall no more shine in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and the bride shall no longer be heard in thee: because thy merchants were the great men of the earth; because by thy sorcery all nations were deceived,
24 Kaiyuk acn Babylon ke sripen srahn mwet palu ac mwet lun God u koneyukyak in el — aok, srah kaclos nukewa su anwuki fin faclu.
truly in her is found the blood of prophets, and saints, and all those who have been slain upon the earth.
