Psalm 97

The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad.

Clouds and darkness are round about Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

A fire goeth before Him, and burneth up His adversaries round about.

4 Sarom lal kalmeak faclu, Ac faclu liye ac rarrar.

His lightnings lighted up the world; the earth saw, and trembled.

5 Eol uh kofelik oana kiris ye mutun LEUM GOD, Ye mutun LEUM GOD lun faclu nufon.

The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

6 Kusrao fahkak suwoswos lal, Ac mutunfacl nukewa liye wolana lal.

The heavens declared His righteousness, and all the peoples saw His glory.

7 Elos nukewa su alu nu ke ma sruloala, elos akmwekinyeyuk, Ac god nukewa lun faclu epasr nu sin LEUM GOD.

Ashamed be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of things of nought; bow down to Him, all ye gods.

8 Mwet in Zion elos insewowo, Ac siti nukewa in acn Judah elos engan Ke sripen nununku suwoswos lom, O LEUM GOD.

Zion heard and was glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoiced; because of Thy judgments, O LORD.

9 LEUM GOD Kulana, kom leum fin faclu nufon, Kom arulana fulat liki god nukewa.

For Thou, LORD, art most high above all the earth; Thou art exalted far above all gods.

10 LEUM GOD El lungse elos su kwase ma koluk. El karingin moul lun mwet lal. El molelosla liki ku lun mwet koluk.

O ye that love the LORD, hate evil; He preserveth the souls of His saints; He delivered them out of the hand of the wicked.

11 Kalem uh sreya mwet suwoswos, Ac insewowo tuku nu sin mwet wo.

Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

12 Kowos nukewa su suwohs in enganak Ke sripen ma LEUM GOD El oru! Esam ma God mutal El oru, Ac sang kulo nu sel.

Be glad in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks to His holy name.
