Psalm 91

1 El su som nu yurin LEUM GOD in suk misla, Su muta ye lulin poun God Kulana,

He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, Habitually lodges in the shade of the Mighty,

2 El ku in fahk nu sel, “Kom mwe loeyuk ac lango luk. Kom God luk, ac nga lulalfongi in kom.”

He is saying of YHWH, “My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,”

3 El fah karingin kom liki mwe ongoiya su oan in lukma, Ac liki kutena mas keok.

For He delivers you from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence.

4 El fah afinkomi ke posohksok lal. Kom fah moulla ke karinginyuk lal. Pwaye lal ac fah mwe loeyuk lom ac mwe karingin lom.

He covers you over with His pinion, And under His wings you trust, His truth [is] a shield and buckler.

5 Kom fah tia sangeng ke kutena mwe sensen ke fong Ku ke mwe ngal ke len,

You are not afraid of fear by night, Of arrow that flies by day,

6 Ku ke mwe misa in lohsr uh, Ku ke ma koluk su sikyak ke len.

Of pestilence that walks in thick darkness, Of destruction that destroys at noon,

7 Sahp sie tausin ac fah misa siskom Ku ngoul tausin raunikomla, Tusruktu kom ac fah tia sis kutena ma.

One thousand fall at your side, And a myriad at your right hand, [But] it does not come near to you.

8 Kom fah ngetang ac liye Ouiyen kaiyuk nu sin mwet koluk.

But with your eyes you look, And you see the reward of the wicked,

9 Kom oru tuh LEUM GOD Elan mwe loango lom, El su Fulatlana El nien muta lom.

(For You, O YHWH, [are] my refuge), You made the Most High your habitation.

10 Ke ma inge wangin ma koluk fah tuku nu fom, Wangin mwe kunausla fah apkuran nu inkul sum.

Evil does not happen to you, And a plague does not come near your tent,

11 God El fah sap lipufan lal in liyekomyang Ac karingin kom yen nukewa kom fahsr nu we.

For He charges His messengers for you, To keep you in all your ways,

12 Elos fah kafiskomyak inpaolos Tuh niom fah tia ngalyak fin eot uh.

On the hands they bear you up, Lest you strike your foot against a stone.

13 Kom ac fah lolongya lion ac wet, Aok, lion sulallal ac wet pwasin.

You tread on lion and cobra, You trample young lion and dragon.

14 God El fahk, “Nga ac fah molelos su lungse nga, Ac karinganulos su akilenyu lah nga LEUM GOD.

Because he has delighted in Me, I also deliver him—I set him on high, Because he has known My Name.

15 Ke elos pang nu sik, nga fah topkolos; Ke elos sun mwe ongoiya, nga fah muta yorolos, Nga fah molelosla ac akfulatyalos.

He calls Me, and I answer him, I [am] with him in distress, I deliver him, and honor him.

16 Nga ac fah sang moul loes nu selos Ac molelosla.”

I satisfy him with [the] length of [his] days, And I cause him to look on My salvation!
