A Maskil of Ethan the Ezrahite. I will sing of the loving devotion of the LORD forever; with my mouth I will proclaim Your faithfulness to all generations.
2 Nga etu lah wangin saflaiyen lungse lom, Ac oaru lom oakwuki ku, oana kusrao.
For I have said, “Loving devotion is built up forever; in the heavens You establish Your faithfulness.”
3 Kom fahk, “Nga orala sie wulela inmasrlok ac sie su nga sulela. Pa inge ma nga tuh wulela nu sel David, mwet kulansap luk:
You said, “I have made a covenant with My chosen one, I have sworn to David My servant:
4 ‘Sie sin mwet in fwil nutum ac fah tokosra in pacl nukewa; Nga fah oakiya tuh tokosrai lom in oan nwe tok.’”
‘I will establish your offspring forever and build up your throne for all generations.’”
5 Kusrao onkakin ma wolana kom oru, Elos su mutal fah onkakin oaru lom, LEUM GOD.
The heavens praise Your wonders, O LORD— Your faithfulness as well— in the assembly of the holy ones.
6 Wangin sie inkusrao oana kom, O LEUM GOD; Wangin inmasrlon mwet inkusrao ku in lumweyuk nu sum.
For who in the skies can compare with the LORD? Who among the heavenly beings is like the LORD?
7 Inmasrlon u mutal lom, elos sangeng sum; Elos nukewa pasrla ye motom.
In the council of the holy ones, God is greatly feared, and awesome above all who surround Him.
8 LEUM GOD Kulana, wangin sie su ku oana kom, Tuh kom oaru in ma nukewa, O LEUM GOD.
O LORD God of Hosts, who is like You? O mighty LORD, Your faithfulness surrounds You.
9 Kom leum fin ku lun meoa, Kom akmisye noa lulap we.
You rule the raging sea; when its waves mount up, You still them.
10 Kom itungya kosro lulap Rahab, ac unilya; Ke ku lulap lom kom kutangla mwet lokoalok lom.
You crushed Rahab like a carcass; You scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm.
11 Kusrao ac faclu ma lom, Kom orala faclu ac ma nukewa loac.
The heavens are Yours, and also the earth. The earth and its fullness You founded.
12 Kom orala epang ac eir, Fineol Tabor ac Fineol Hermon on nu sum ke engan.
North and south You created; Tabor and Hermon shout for joy at Your name.
13 Fuka lupan ku lom! Fuka pwengpengiyen ku lulap lom!
Mighty is Your arm; strong is Your hand. Your right hand is exalted.
14 Tokosrai lom oakwuk fin suwoswos ac nununku pwaye, Lungse ac oaru akkalemyeyuk in ma nukewa kom oru.
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; loving devotion and faithfulness go before You.
15 Fuka lupan insewowo lalos su alu nu sum ke on, Su moul ke kalmen kulang lom!
Blessed are those who know the joyful sound, who walk, O LORD, in the light of Your presence.
16 Ke sripom elos engan ke len nufon, Ac elos kaksakin kom ke wolana lom.
They rejoice in Your name all day long, and in Your righteousness they exult.
17 Kom ase kutangla yohk nu sesr, Ac ke lungse lom kom oru tuh kut in kutangla.
For You are the glory of their strength, and by Your favor our horn is exalted.
18 Kom, O LEUM GOD, kom sulela mwet in loangekut; Ac kom, God Mutal lun Israel, ase tokosra lasr.
Surely our shield belongs to the LORD, and our king to the Holy One of Israel.
19 Kom kaskas nu sin mwet kulansap oaru lom in sie aruruma in pacl meet ah, ac fahk, “Nga sang kasru nu sin sie mwet mweun pwengpeng, Nga akleumye sie su nga sulela liki inmasrlon mwet uh.
You once spoke in a vision; to Your godly ones You said, “I have bestowed help on a warrior; I have exalted one chosen from the people.
20 Nga oru tuh David, mwet kulansap luk, elan tokosra Ke nga mosrwella ke mwe akmusra mutal.
I have found My servant David; with My sacred oil I have anointed him.
21 Ku luk fah welul pacl e nukewa, Ac ku luk fah oru elan ku.
My hand will sustain him; surely My arm will strengthen him.
22 Mwet lokoalok lal fah tia kutangulla, Ac mwet koluk fah tia ku facl.
No enemy will exact tribute; no wicked man will oppress him.
23 Nga ac fah itungya mwet lokoalok lal Ac onelosi nukewa su srungal.
I will crush his foes before him and strike down those who hate him.
24 Nga ac fah lungse el ac pwaye nu sel, Nga ac fah oru tuh elan ku fin mwet lokoalok lal pacl e nukewa.
My faithfulness and loving devotion will be with him, and through My name his horn will be exalted.
25 Nga ac fah tafwela tokosrai lal, Mutawauk Meoa Mediterranean lac nwe Infacl Euphrates.
I will set his hand over the sea, and his right hand upon the rivers.
26 David el ac fah fahk nu sik, ‘Kom papa tumuk ac God luk, Kom eot ku luk ac lango luk.’
He will call to Me, ‘You are my Father, my God, the Rock of my salvation.’
27 Nga fah oayapa oru tuh elan wounse mukul nutik, El pa fulat liki tokosra nukewa.
I will indeed appoint him as My firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.
28 Nga fah karingin wuleang luk nu sel, Ac wulela luk fah welul nwe tok.
I will forever preserve My loving devotion for him, and My covenant with him will stand fast.
29 Tokosrai lal ac fah oakwuki ku oana kusrao. Sie sin mwet in fwil natul ac fah tokosra in pacl nukewa.
I will establish his line forever, his throne as long as the heavens endure.
30 “Tusruktu, mwet in fwil natul fin tia akos ma sap luk, Ac tia moul fal nu ke oakwuk luk,
If his sons forsake My law and do not walk in My judgments,
31 Elos fin seakos mwe luti luk Ac tia karingin ma sap luk,
if they violate My statutes and fail to keep My commandments,
32 Na nga ac fah srunglulos ke sripen ma koluk lalos; Nga ac fah akkeokyalos ke ma sutuu lalos.
I will attend to their transgression with the rod, and to their iniquity with stripes.
33 Tusruktu, lungse luk nu sel David ac fah tia tui, Oayapa nga fah tia mulkunla wulela luk nu sel.
But I will not withdraw My loving devotion from him, nor ever betray My faithfulness.
34 Nga ac fah tiana kunausla wulela inmasrlok el, Ku sisla siefanna ma nga tuh wuleang nu sel.
I will not violate My covenant or alter the utterance of My lips.
35 “Wulela sefanna nga fah orala ke Inek: Nga fah tiana kikiap nu sel David.
Once and for all I have sworn by My holiness— I will not lie to David—
36 Ac fah oasr na fwil natul, Ac nga fah karingin tokosrai lal ke lusenna pacl faht uh kalem.
his offspring shall endure forever, and his throne before Me like the sun,
37 Ac fah sie ma oakwuk oana malem uh Su liye ma nukewa inkusrao me.”
like the moon, established forever, a faithful witness in the sky.”
38 Tuh pa inge kom kasrkusrak sin tokosra su kom sulela; Kom fahsr lukel ac sisella.
Now, however, You have spurned and rejected him; You are enraged by Your anointed one.
39 Kom kunausla wulela lom nu sin mwet kulansap lom Ac sisla tefuro lal nu infohk uh.
You have renounced the covenant with Your servant and sullied his crown in the dust.
40 Kom kunausya kalkal in siti sel Ac filiya pot ku lal in musalsalu.
You have broken down all his walls; You have reduced his strongholds to rubble.
41 Elos nukewa su fahsr we, elos pisre ma lal, Ac mwet tulan lal nukewa elos isrunul.
All who pass by plunder him; he has become a reproach to his neighbors.
42 Kom sang kutangla nu sin mwet lokoalok lal; Kom oru tuh elos nukewa in engan.
You have exalted the right hand of his foes; You have made all his enemies rejoice.
43 Kom oru tuh in wangin sripen mwe mweun natul, Ac kom lela in kutangyukla el ke mweun uh.
You have bent the edge of his sword and have not sustained him in battle.
44 Kom eisla scepter lal lukel Ac ikruiya tron lal nu infohk uh.
You have ended his splendor and cast his throne to the ground.
45 Kom oru tuh elan matuoh meet liki pacl fal lal, Ac afinilya ke mwekin.
You have cut short the days of his youth; You have covered him with shame.
46 O LEUM GOD, ya kom fah wikinkomla nwe tok? Putaka mulat lom uh fah firir oana sie e?
How long, O LORD? Will You hide Yourself forever? Will Your wrath keep burning like fire?
47 Esam lah moul luk arulana fototo, Esam lah kom orekutla, moul lasr in sukawil.
Remember the briefness of my lifespan! For what futility You have created all men!
What man can live and never see death? Can he deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? (Sheol h7585)
49 Leum, ku pia akpwayeyen lungse lom su kom akkalemye meet ah? Pia wulela kom tuh oru nu sel David?
Where, O Lord, is Your loving devotion of old, which You faithfully swore to David?
50 Nik kom mulkunla lah akkolukyeyuk nga, mwet kulansap lom, Ac nga muteng kas in selnga nukewa lun mwet pegan nu sik.
Remember, O Lord, the reproach of Your servants, which I bear in my heart from so many people—
51 Mwet lokoalok lom elos aksruksrukye tokosra su kom sulela, O LEUM GOD! Elos akkolukyal yen nukewa el fahsr we.
how Your enemies have taunted, O LORD, and have mocked every step of Your anointed one!
52 Kaksakin LEUM GOD nwe tok ma pahtpat! Amen! Amen!
Blessed be the LORD forever! Amen and amen.
