< Psalm 88 >

1 [Psalm Lun Tulik Natul Korah; Ac Heman, Mwet Ezra] O LEUM GOD su langoeyu, nga wowoyak ac tung len fon, Ac ke fong nga tuku nu ye motom.
A Song, a Melody. For the Sons of Korah. To the Chief Musician. On "Mahalath." For alternate Song. An Instructive Psalm. By Heman the Ezrahite. O Yahweh, God of my salvation, By day, have I made outcry, In the night, [also] before thee.
2 Lohng pre luk, Lipsre tung luk in suk kasru!
Let my prayer, come into thy presence, Bow down thine ear to my loud cry.
3 Tuh mwe keok puspis putati nu fuk Ac nga apkuran in misa. (Sheol h7585)
For my soul, is sated with misfortunes, And, my life—unto Hades, hath drawn near; (Sheol h7585)
4 Nga oana elos nukewa su apkuran in misa; Wanginla ku luk.
I am counted with them who descend into the pit, I have become as a man that is without help;
5 Sisila nga inmasrlon mwet misa, Nga oana mwet su anwuki ac pukpuki in kulyuk uh — Oana elos su kom tiana sifil esam, Su kom fah tia ku in sifilpa kasru.
Among the dead, is my couch, —Like the slain that lie in the grave, Where thou rememberest them no more, Yea, they, from thy hand, are cut off;
6 Kom sisyula nu in lufin mas loallana, Nu in luf se su arulana lohsr ac loal.
Thou hast laid me, In the lowest pit, In dark places, In the deeps:
7 Mulat lom putati toasr nu fuk Ac nga itungyuki ye noa in kasrkusrak lom.
Upon me, hath rested thine indignation, And, with all thy breakers, hast thou caused affliction. (Selah)
8 Kom oru tuh mwet kawuk luk in sisyula, Ac oru tuh nga in oana mwe srungayuk selos. Nga kauli ac tia ku in kaingkunla.
Thou hast far removed mine acquaintances from me, —Thou hast made me an abomination unto them, Shut up, and I cannot go forth!
9 Mutuk losrla ke keok luk, LEUM GOD, nga sralak pouk Ac pre nu sum len nukewa.
Mine eye, hath dimmed through affliction; I have called upon thee, O Yahweh, all day long, I have spread out, unto thee, my hands.
10 Ya kom ac oru ma sakirik usrnguk nu sin mwet misa? Ya elos ac tukakek ac kaksakin kom?
For the dead, wilt thou perform a wonder? Or shall, the shades, arising, give thee thanks? (Selah)
11 Ya lungse kawil lom srumunyuk in kulyuk uh? Ya oaru lom srumunyuk ke acn in kunausten?
Shall Thy lovingkindness be recounted in the grave? Thy faithfulness, in destruction?
12 Ya mwenmen lom liyeyuk in acn lohsr uh, Ku wo lom liyeyuk ke acn sin mwet mulkinyukla uh?
Shall any wonder of thine, be known in the dark? Or, thy righteousness, in the land of forgetfulness?
13 LEUM GOD, nga pre nu sum in kasreyu. Nga pre nu sum ke lotutang nukewa.
But, I, unto thee, O Yahweh, have cried for help, And, in the morning, my prayer will confront thee!
14 Efu ku kom sisyula, LEUM GOD? Efu ku kom ngetla likiyu?
Wherefore, O Yahweh, shouldst thou reject my soul? shouldst thou hide thy face from me?
15 Nga nuna keok ac apkuran nu ke misa e ke nga srikyak, Nga totola ke ma toasr su kom kaiyu kac.
Afflicted have I been, and dying, from youth, I have borne the terror of thee—I shall be distracted!
16 Mulat upa lom itungyuwi — Mwe aksangeng lom kunausyula.
Over me, have passed thy bursts of burning anger, The alarms of thee have put an end to me;
17 Ma inge apinyula oana sronot ke len nufon, Ac kuhlusyuwi ke siska nukewa.
They have surrounded me like waters, all the day, They have come circling against me together:
18 Finne kawuk fototo luk, kom oru elos sisyula, Ac lohsr mukena pa nga liye uh.
Thou hast far removed from me, lover and friend, Mine acquaintances, are in darkness.
