< Psalm 77 >

1 [Psalm lal Asaph] Nga wowoyak tung nu sin God, Nga tung ke pusra lulap ac El porongeyu.
For the end, for Idithun, a Psalm of Asaph. I cried to the Lord with my voice, yes, my voice [was addressed] to God; and he gave heed to me.
2 In pacl in ongoiya, nga pre nu sin Leum, Ke fong nufon nga sralak pouk in pre, Tusruktu nga tia ku in konauk misla.
In the day of mine affliction I earnestly sought the Lord; [even] with my hands by night before him, and I was not deceived; my soul refused to be comforted.
3 Ke nga esamak God, nga oela, Ac ke nga nunku yohk kacl, insiuk munasla.
I remembered God, and rejoiced; I poured out my complaint, and my soul fainted. (Pause)
4 El oru tuh ngan ngetnget ke fong fon. Yokna mwe tukulkul in nunak luk, ac nga tia etu lah mea nga ac fahk.
All mine enemies set a watch [against me]: I was troubled, and spoke not.
5 Nga nunku ke len pus somla, Ac esamak yac puspis in pacl oemeet ah.
I considered the days of old, and remembered ancient years.
6 Nga ngetnget ke fong nufon ke sripen nunak luk. Nga nunak, ac pa inge ma nga siyuk sik sifacna:
And I meditated; I communed with my heart by night, and diligently searched my spirit, [saying],
7 “Ya Leum El ac siskutlana? Ya El ac fah tiana sifil insewowo sesr?
Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be well pleased no more?
8 Ya El tila lungse kut? Ya El ac tiana akpwayeye wuleang lal nu sesr?
Will he cut off his mercy for ever, even for ever and ever?
9 Ya God El mulkunla in pakoten? Ya kasrkusrak eisla acn sin pakoten?”
Will God forget to pity? or will he shut up his compassions in his wrath? (Pause)
10 Na nga fahk, “Ma se nga nunku yohk emeet uh pa inge: Lah ku lun God uh in wanginla.”
And I said, Now I have begun; this is the change of the right hand of the Most High.
11 Nga ac fah esam na orekma yohk lom, O LEUM GOD, Nga ac fah esamak orekma sakirik lom in pacl meet ah.
I remembered the works of the Lord; for I will remember your wonders from the beginning.
12 Nga ac fah nunku ke ma nukewa kom tuh oru, Ac nga fah nunku yohk ke orekma ku lom.
And I will meditate on all your works, and will consider your doings.
13 O God, ma nukewa kom oru, mutal. Wangin pac sie god oana kom.
O God, your way is in the sanctuary; who is a great God as our God?
14 Kom pa God se su orek mwenmen. Kom akkalemye ku lom inmasrlon mutunfacl uh.
You are the God that do wonders; you have made known your power among the nations.
15 Ke ku lom kom molela mwet lom, Fwil natul Jacob ac natul Joseph.
You have with your arm redeemed your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Pause)
16 Ke kof uh liye kom, O God, elos sangeng, Ac acn loal in meoa uh rarrar.
The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you, and feared; and the depths were troubled.
17 Pukunyeng uh okoala af, Pulahl kas yen engyeng uh, Ac sarom sarmelik nu yen nukewa.
[There was] an abundant sound of waters: the clouds uttered a voice; for your arrows went abroad.
18 Pusren pulahl lulap lom ngirla, Ac kalmen sarom sarmelik fin faclu, Ac faclu rarrar ac kusrusrsrusr.
The voice of your thunder was abroad, and around your lightnings appeared to the world; the earth trembled a quaked.
19 Kom fahsr sasla in noa uh Ac tupalla kof loal meoa, A falkom tiana ku in liyeyuk.
Your way is in the sea, and your paths in many waters, and your footsteps can’t be known.
20 Ke kolyuk lun Moses ac Aaron, Kom kolla mwet lom oana sie shepherd.
You did guide your people as sheep by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
