< Psalm 7 >

1 [Psalm lal David, su el Onkakin nu sin LEUM GOD, ke sripal Cush, sie Mwet Benjamin] O LEUM GOD, God luk, nga tuku nu yurum tuh kom in karinginyu; Langoeyula ac moliyula lukelos nukewa su ukweyu.
Ode of David: which he sang unto Yahweh, on account of the words of Cush the Benjamite. O Yahweh my God, in thee, have I sought refuge, —Save me from all my pursuers, and deliver me:
2 Kom fin tia, elos ac tulakinyula ac sreyuwi Oana soko lion sulallal, Yen wangin mwet ac fah ku in moliyula.
Lest one tear, as a lion, my soul, —and there be no deliverer to rescue.
3 O LEUM GOD luk, fin pwaye lah nga oru kutena sin ma inge: Pouk fin oru ma tafongla,
O Yahweh my God, If I have done this, If there hath been perversity in my hands:
4 Ku nga fin orala ma koluk nu sin mwet kawuk luk, Ku kunausla mwet lokoalok luk ke wangin sripa,
If I have requited my friend with wrong, —or have oppressed mine adversary without need,
5 Na lela mwet lokoalok luk in ukweyu ac sruokyuwi. Lela elos in sisyuwi nu infohk uh ac uniyuwi, Ac filiyuwi ngan oan misa infohk uh.
Let an enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it, that he may tread down, to the earth, my life, —and, mine honour—in the dust, he may cause to dwell. (Selah)
6 O LEUM GOD, tuyak ke kasrkusrak lom, Ac lain folo lun mwet lokoalok luk! Mukuiyak ac kasreyu! Kom lungsum nununku suwohs,
Rise! Yahweh! in thine anger, Lift thyself up, because of the haughty outbursts of mine adversaries, Stir up for me the justice thou hast commanded:
7 Ke ma inge, orani mwet nukewa nu yurum, Tuh kom in nununkalos lucng me.
When, the assembly of peoples, gather round thee, then, above it—on high, do thou return!
8 Kom pa nununku mwet nukewa. O LEUM GOD, wiyu lac ke kom nununkeyu, Mweyen kom etu lah wangin mwetik.
Yahweh, will judge the peoples, —Do me justice, O Yahweh, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity upon me,
9 Kom sie God suwoswos Ac kom nununku nunak lasr ac ma lungse lasr. Kutongya orekma lun mwet koluk Ac sang ma lacne nu sin mwet wo.
Let the wrong of the lawless, I pray thee, come to an end, and establish thou him that is righteous, —for, a trier of hearts and reins, is God the righteous one.
10 God El mwe loeyuk luk. El molelos su aksol.
My shield, is held by God, who is ready to save the upright in heart:
11 God El oru nununku suwoswos Ac El kwase mwet koluk.
A God to vindicate the righteous, —And yet a God to be indignant throughout every day.
12 Elos fin tia auliyak, Na God El ac fah tamla cutlass natul, Ac akoela mwe pisr natul.
If he turn not, his sword, will he whet, —his bow, hath he bent, and made ready:
13 El srukak mwe mweun natul Ac ngasla mwe pisr firir natul.
But, for himself, hath he made ready the weapons so deadly, His arrows, he, so fiery, would make:
14 Liye ke mwet koluk elos lungse sramtauk pwapa koluk; Elos purakak lokoalok ac kiapu mwet.
Lo! he gendereth trouble, and conceiveth mischief, but giveth birth to a disappointment:
15 Tusruktu mwe kwasrip elos akoo nu sin mwet saya, Elos sifacna sremla kac.
A pit, he cut out, and digged it, and then fell into the ditch he had made:
16 Ke ma inge elos akkeokyeyuk ke ma koluk lalos sifacna, Ac akngalyeyuk ke sulallal lalos.
His mischief, turneth back, on his own head, —and, on his own crown, his violence, descendeth.
17 Nga sang kulo nu sin LEUM GOD ke nununku suwohs lal; Nga on ac kaksakin LEUM GOD Fulatlana.
I will praise Yahweh according to his righteousness, —and will praise in song the Name of Yahweh Most High.
