< Psalm 69 >

1 [Psalm lal David] Moliyula, O God; Tuh kof uh lapak sun inkwawuk.
For the Chief Musician. To the tune of “Lilies.” By David. Save me, God, for the waters have come up to my neck!
2 Nga tili in acn furarrar na loal, Ac wangin acn nga in tu fac. Nga oasr in kof loallana, Ac noa uh apkuran in utiyuwi.
I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold. I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
3 Nga totola in tung; Kapinsrulyuk paola. Mutuk munasla Ke nga tupan kasru lom.
I am weary with my crying. My throat is dry. My eyes fail looking for my God.
4 Elos su srungayu ke wangin sripa Elos pus liki na aunsifuk. Mwet lokoalok luk fahk kas kikiap lainyu; Elos arulana fokoko ac kena in uniyuwi. Elos oru nga folokonang ma su nga tia pisrala.
Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I didn’t take away.
5 O God, ma koluk luk tiana wikla liki kom, Kom etu lupan nikin luk.
God, you know my foolishness. My sins aren’t hidden from you.
6 Nikmet lela tuh nga in akmwekinyalos su lulalfongi kom, O LEUM GOD Kulana. Nikmet lela in nga pa pwanang pilesreyuk elos su alu nu sum, O God lun Israel.
Don’t let those who wait for you be shamed through me, Lord GOD of Hosts. Don’t let those who seek you be brought to dishonour through me, God of Israel.
7 Ke sripom nga akkolukyeyuk, Ac mwekin apinyula.
Because for your sake, I have borne reproach. Shame has covered my face.
8 Nga oana sie mwet tia eteyuk sin mwet lik, Ac oana sie mwetsac in sou luk.
I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother’s children.
9 Moniyuk luk nu ke Tempul lom firirrir in nga oana sie e; Ac kas in akkoluk lun mwet keim putati nu fuk.
For the zeal of your house consumes me. The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.
10 Nga sifacna akpusiselyeyu ke lalo luk, Ac mwet uh fahk kas in akkolukyeyu.
When I wept and I fasted, that was to my reproach.
11 Nga nokomang nuknuk in asor Ac elos isrunyu.
When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword to them.
12 Elos sramsramkinyu inkanek uh, Ac mwet sruhi elos kinala on keik.
Those who sit in the gate talk about me. I am the song of the drunkards.
13 A funu nga, LEUM GOD, nga ac pre nu sum; Topukyu, O God, in pacl kom sulela, Topukyu ke lungse yohk lom, Ke sripen kom akpwayeye wulela lom in molela.
But as for me, my prayer is to you, LORD, in an acceptable time. God, in the abundance of your loving kindness, answer me in the truth of your salvation.
14 Moliyula tuh nga in tia tili yen furarrar, Langoeyula liki mwet lokoalok luk, Ac liki inkof loal.
Deliver me out of the mire, and don’t let me sink. Let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters.
15 Tia lela sronot in afinyula, Nikmet lela nga in walomla yen loal Ku tili nu in kulyuk.
Don’t let the flood waters overwhelm me, neither let the deep swallow me up. Don’t let the pit shut its mouth on me.
16 Topukyu, O LEUM GOD, ke wolana lun lungse kawil lom; Ke pakoten lom, kom in forma nu sik.
Answer me, LORD, for your loving kindness is good. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, turn to me.
17 Nikmet okanla motom liki mwet kulansap lom, Nga muta in ongoiya lulap — topukyu inge!
Don’t hide your face from your servant, for I am in distress. Answer me speedily!
18 Kaluku nu yuruk ac moliyula. Moliyula liki mwet lokoalok luk.
Draw near to my soul and redeem it. Ransom me because of my enemies.
19 Kom etu lupan kas koluk lun mwet uh keik, Ac lupan akmwekin ac aklusrongten orek nu sik. Kom liye mwet lokoalok luk nukewa.
You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonour. My adversaries are all before you.
20 Kas in akkoluk lalos kunausla insiuk, Ac nga muta in ongoiya. Nga finsrak mu ac oasr pakomuta nu sik, tuh pa wangin, Nga nunku mu ac oasr mwet tuku akwoyeyu, a wangin.
Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness. I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; for comforters, but I found none.
21 Ke nga masrinsral, elos se pwasin, Ac ke nga malu, elos se vinegar nimuk.
They also gave me poison for my food. In my thirst, they gave me vinegar to drink.
22 Lela tepu lalos in ekla mwe kwasrip nu selos; Lela kufwa mutal lalos in mwe lusla nu selos.
Let their table before them become a snare. May it become a retribution and a trap.
23 Oru tuh mutalos in kunla, Ac oru tuh fintokolos in munas pacl e nukewa.
Let their eyes be darkened, so that they can’t see. Let their backs be continually bent.
24 Okoaung mulat lom nu faclos; Ac lela kasrkusrak lom in ukwalos ac sruokolosi.
Pour out your indignation on them. Let the fierceness of your anger overtake them.
25 Lela iwen aktuktuk lalos in pisala, Ac in wangin mwet moul lula in lohm nuknuk selos.
Let their habitation be desolate. Let no one dwell in their tents.
26 Elos kalyaelos su kom kai, Ac elos kaskas ke keok lun mwet su kom kanteya.
For they persecute him whom you have wounded. They tell of the sorrow of those whom you have hurt.
27 Kom in simusla ma koluk lalos nukewa, Ac tia lela elos in wi eis molela sum.
Charge them with crime upon crime. Don’t let them come into your righteousness.
28 Lela tuh inelos in iyukla liki book in moul, Ac lela elos in tia wi sikyak inmasrlon mwet suwoswos lom.
Let them be blotted out of the book of life, and not be written with the righteous.
29 A nga muta in keok ac ongoiya, Srukyuyak, O God, ac moliyula!
But I am in pain and distress. Let your salvation, God, protect me.
30 Nga ac fah kaksakin God ke soko on; Nga ac fah akkalemye fulat lal ke nga sang kulo nu sel.
I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
31 Ma inge mwe akinsewowoye LEUM GOD, yohk liki in kisakin cow, Aok, yohk liki kisakin cow mukul ma matula ac oasr koac kac.
It will please the LORD better than an ox, or a bull that has horns and hoofs.
32 Ke mwet su muta in ongoiya elos ac liye ma inge, elos ac engan; Ac fah mwe akkeye insien mwet su alu nu sin God.
The humble have seen it, and are glad. You who seek after God, let your heart live.
33 LEUM GOD El porongalos su muta in enenu Ac El tia mulkunulosla su muta in presin.
For the LORD hears the needy, and doesn’t despise his captive people.
34 Kaksakin God, kusrao ac faclu, Meoa ac ma nukewa loac.
Let heaven and earth praise him; the seas, and everything that moves therein!
35 Tuh God El fah molela Jerusalem Ac sifil musaeak siti in Judah. Mwet lun God elos ac fah muta we, ac acn we ac fah ma lalos.
For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah. They shall settle there, and own it.
36 Tuh fwilin tulik nutin mwet kulansap lal fah usrui acn inge, Ac elos su lungse El, fah muta we.
The children also of his servants shall inherit it. Those who love his name shall dwell therein.
