Psalm 61

1 [Psalm lal David] Lohng tung luk, O God; Porongo pre luk!

For the end, among the Hymns of David. O God, hearken to my petition; attend to my prayer.

2 Nga pang nu sum Ke nga muta loesla liki acn sik ac nga fuhleak finsrak luk. Usyu nu ke sie acn in molela,

From the ends of the earth have I cried to thee, when my heart was in trouble: thou liftedst me up on a rock thou didst guide me:

3 Tuh kom nien wikla luk, Ac mwet kasru ku luk in lain mwet lokoalok luk.

because thou wert my hope, a tower of strength from the face of the enemy.

4 Lela nga in muta in lohm mutal sum in moul luk nufon; Lela nga in konauk nien molela luk ye lulin poum.

I will dwell in thy tabernacle for ever; I will shelter myself under the shadow of thy wings. (Pause)

5 Tuh kom lohng wulela luk, O God, Ac kom ase nu sik mwe usru lun mwet su sunakin kom.

For thou, o God, hast heard my prayers; thou hast given an inheritance to them that fear thy name.

6 Akloesye moul lun tokosra; Lela tuh elan moul paht!

Thou shalt add days to the days of the king; [thou shalt lengthen] his years to all generations.

7 Lela tuh elan leum ma pahtpat ye motom, O God; Karinganul ke lungse kawil ac oaru lom.

He shall endure for ever before God: which of them will seek out his mercy and truth?

8 Ke ma inge nga fah on ac kaksakin kom pacl e nukewa, Oana ke nga oru mwe kisa luk nu sum len nukewa, fal nu ke wulela luk.

So will I sing to thy name for ever and ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
