< Psalm 58 >

1 [Psalm lal David] Kowos leum lun faclu, ya oasr pacl kowos oru nununku suwohs? Ya kowos oru nununku lowos fal nu sin mwet nukewa?
To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David. Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
2 Mo, kowos nunku na ke ma koluk kowos in oru, Ac orekma sulallal fin acn uh.
Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
3 Mwet koluk elos oru ma sufal in moul lalos nufon; Elos nuna kikiap oe ke elos isusla ah.
The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.
4 Elos nwanala ke pwasin, oana wet uh; Elos fonosya insraclos in sulohngkas oana wet cobra
Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
5 Su tia lohng pusren on lun mwet akmunayalos, Ku pusren pas lun mwet orek mwenmen.
Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
6 O God, kotalik wihsen lion sulallal inge.
Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.
7 Finsrak tuh elos in wanginla oana kof ma sororla nwe wanginla; Lela tuh elos in itungyuki oana mah su oan inkanek uh.
Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
8 Lela elos in oana ful finmes uh ma ekla nu ke ma fulful ke ac misa; Lela tuh elos in oana sie tulik fusr su isusla ke pacl sufal la ac misa ac tiana liye kalem uh.
As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
9 Meet liki elos esmakla, in pakpukla elos oana mah pilasr; Elos in srakna moul A God Elan okulosla in kasrkusrak lal.
Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.
10 Mwet suwoswos elos ac fah engan ke elos liye lah kaiyuk mwet koluk uh; Elos ac fah fahsr sasla in srahn mwet koluk.
The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
11 Ouinge mwet elos fah fahk, “Mwet suwoswos elos eis lacnen orekma wo lalos; Pwayena lah oasr God se nununku faclu.”
So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
