Psalm 54

1 [Psalm lal David tukun mwet tuku Ziph me nu yorol Saul a fahk nu sel la David el wikwik oan in acn selos.] O God, moliyula ke ku lom; Aksukosokyeyu ke ku lulap lom!

Unto the end. In verses, the understanding of David, when the Ziphites had arrived and they said to Saul, “Has not David been hidden with us?” Save me, O God, by your name, and judge me in your virtue.

For strangers have risen up against me, and the strong have sought my soul. And they have not set God before their eyes.

4 Tusruk God El mwet kasru luk. Leum El mwe loango luk.

For behold, God is my helper, and the Lord is the protector of my soul.

5 Lela tuh God Elan lain mwet lokoalok luk ke ma koluk lalos sifacna. El ac fah kunauselosla mweyen El oaru.

Turn back the evils upon my adversaries, and ruin them by your truth.

6 Nga ac fah engan in oru mwe kisa nu sum, O LEUM GOD; Nga fah sot kulo nu sum Mweyen kom wo.

I will freely sacrifice to you, and I will confess your name, O God, because it is good.

7 Tuh kom moliyula liki ongoiya luk nukewa, Ac nga liye ke mwet lokoalok luk elos kutangyukla.

For you have quickly rescued me from all tribulation, and my eye has looked down upon my enemies.
