< Psalm 50 >
1 [Psalm lal Asaph] LEUM GOD, God Kulana, El kaskas; El pangon faclu nufon, mutawauk kutulap na nwe roto.
A Psalm by Asaph. The Mighty One, God, the LORD, speaks, and calls the earth from sunrise to sunset.
2 Kalem lun God saromrom Zion me, Siti se su oaskulana in woiya.
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines out.
3 God lasr El tuku, tuh El tia tuku misla; Sie e lulap fah fahsr meet lukel, Ac sie eng upa raunella.
Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.
4 El pangon kusrao ac faclu elos in orek loh kac, Ac liye ke El ac nununku mwet lal.
He calls to the heavens above, to the earth, that he may judge his people:
5 El fahk ouinge, “Eisani mwet oaru luk nu yuruk, Elos su tuh orek wulela yuruk ke mwe kisa.”
“Gather my holy ones together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”
6 Kusrao fahkak lah God El suwoswos, Ac El sifacna pa Mwet Nununku.
The heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge. (Selah)
7 “Porongo, kowos mwet luk, ac nga ac fah kaskas; Nga fah kaskas lain kom, Israel. Tuh nga God, God lom.
“Hear, my people, and I will speak. Israel, I will testify against you. I am God, your God.
8 Ke nga kai kom, tia ma ke sripen mwe kisa lom Ku ke mwe kisa firir su kom use nu sik pacl e nukewa.
I don’t rebuke you for your sacrifices. Your burnt offerings are continually before me.
9 Tusruktu nga tia enenu cow mukul liki ima lom, Ku nani liki un kosro nutum.
I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.
10 Kosro nukewa insak uh ma nutik, Ac oayapa cow su muta fin tausin inging.
For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills.
11 Won lemnak nukewa ma nutik Ac ma moul nukewa in imae.
I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild animals of the field are mine.
12 “Nga fin masrinsral, nga ac tia siyuk sum ke mwe mongo, Mweyen faclu ac koano nufon ma luk.
If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.
13 Ya nga kang ikwen cow mukul uh, Ku nim srahn nani uh?
Will I eat the meat of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
14 Nga God Fulatlana! Pa inge mwe kisa ma nga enenu sum: In sang kulo ke insiom, ac in akfalye ma kom wulela kac.
Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.
15 Pre nu sik ke pacl mwe ongoiya sikyak; Nga ac fah molikomla, Ac kom fah kaksakinyu.”
Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”
16 A God El fahk nu sin mwet koluk, “Efu ku kom in fahkak ma sap luk? Efu ku kom in sramsram ke wulela luk?
But to the wicked God says, “What right do you have to declare my statutes, that you have taken my covenant on your lips,
17 Kom tia lungse nga in aksuwosye kom; Kom pilesru ma sap luk.
since you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you?
18 Kom asruoki nu sin mwet pisrapasr nukewa kom liye, Ac kom insese yurin mukul ac mutan su tia karinganang wulela in marut la.
When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers.
19 “Pacl nukewa kom akola in kaskas koluk, Ac kom tia tupwek in kaskas kikiap.
“You give your mouth to evil. Your tongue frames deceit.
20 Kom akola in akkolukye mwet lom sifacna, Ac suk mwatan mwet lim.
You sit and speak against your brother. You slander your own mother’s son.
21 Kom oru ma inge nukewa, ac nga tia fahk kutena ma, Pwanang kom nunku mu nga oana kom. Tusruktu inge nga kai kom kac Tuh in kalem sum.
You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes.
22 “Porongo ma inge, kowos su pilesreyu. Kowos fin tia, nga fah kunauskowosla, Na wangin sie ac fah molikowosla.
“Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you into pieces, and there be no one to deliver.
23 Sang kulo pa mwe kisa se ma akfulatyeyu, Ac nga fah molelosla nukewa su akosyu.”
Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God’s salvation to him.”
