< Psalm 36 >
1 [Psalm lal David, Mwet Kulansap lun LEUM GOD] Ma koluk uh tilyang nu insien sie mwet koluk ac kaskas nu sel. El pilesru God ac tia sangeng sel.
To the Chief Musician. Of the Servant of Yahweh—of David. Declareth the transgression of the lawless one, within my heart, There is, no dread of God, before his eyes;
2 Ke sripen nunak fulat lal kacl sifacna El nunku mu God El ac tia etu ke ma koluk lal ac akkolukyal kac.
For he flattereth himself [too much] in his own eyes, to find his iniquity—to hate [it].
3 Kaskas lal uh koluk ac sessesla ke kikiap; El tia sifil oru ma lalmwetmet ac wo.
The words of his mouth, are iniquity and deceit, he hath left off to show discretion by doing well:
4 El akoo nunak kutasrik lal ke el oan fin mwe oan kial; Wangin ma wo el oru, Ac el tia fahsr liki ma koluk.
Iniquity, deviseth he upon his bed, —he taketh his stand in a way, not good, Wrong, doth he not abhor!
5 LEUM GOD, lungse kawil lom sun kusrao; Oaru lom sun pukungeng yen engyeng uh.
O Yahweh! in the heavens, is thy lovingkindness, Thy faithfulness, as far as the fleecy clouds:
6 Suwoswos lom fulat oana soko eol; Nununku lom loal oana acn loal meoa. Kom karinganang mwet ac ma orakrak.
Thy righteousness, is like mighty mountains, and, thy just decrees, are a great resounding deep, —Man and beast, thou savest, O Yahweh!
7 O God, fuka saokiyen lungse kawil lom! Kut konauk nien wikla lasr ye lulin poum.
How precious thy lovingkindness, O God, —Therefore, the sons of men, under the shadow of thy wings, seek refuge:
8 Kut mutkin mwe mongo puspis su kom ase nu sesr; Kom ase ma wo puspis nu sesr, oana soror lun infacl uh.
They abundantly relish the fatness of thy house, —And out of the full stream of thine own pleasures, thou givest them to drink.
9 Tuh kom pa mutaweyen moul nukewa, Ac ke sripen kalem lom kut ku in liye kalem.
For, with thee, is the fountain of life, In thy light, we see light.
10 Tia fuleak in lungse elos su etekom Ac in oru wo nu selos su suwohs insialos.
Prolong thy lovingkindness unto them who know thee, —and thy righteousness, to the upright in heart.
11 Nikmet lela tuh mwet inse fulat elos in lainyu Ku mwet koluk in oru tuh nga in kaing.
Let not the foot of pride reach me, nor, the hand of the lawless, scare me away.
12 Liye mwet koluk oan ingo — Sisila elos nu ten, ac elos tia ku in sifil tukakek.
There did the workers of iniquity fall, —thrust down and not able to rise!
