Psalm 17

A Prayer of David. Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry; give ear unto my prayer from lips without deceit.

Let my judgment come forth from Thy presence; let Thine eyes behold equity.
3 Kom etu na insiuk. Kom sikme nu sik ke fong. Kom arulana suk ouiyuk Ac kom tia konauk kutena nunak koluk in nga. Nga tia fahk kutena ma koluk,
Thou hast tried my heart, Thou hast visited it in the night; Thou hast tested me, and Thou findest not that I had a thought which should not pass my mouth.
4 oana ke mwet saya oru; Nga akos na ma sap lom Ac nga tia fahsr ke inkanek lun mwet sulallal.
As for the doings of men, by the word of Thy lips I have kept me from the ways of the violent.
5 Nga fahsr ke inkanek lom in pacl nukewa, Ac tiana kuhfla liki.
My steps have held fast to Thy paths, my feet have not slipped.
6 Nga pre nu sum, O God, mweyen kom topukyu; Ke ma inge, forma nu sik ac porongo kas luk.
As for me, I call upon Thee, for Thou wilt answer me, O God; incline Thine ear unto me, hear my speech.
7 Akkalemye lungse wolana lom ac moliyula; Ke nga muta siskom nga moulla liki mwet lokoalok luk.
Make passing great Thy mercies, O Thou that savest by Thy right hand from assailants them that take refuge in Thee.
8 Karinginyu oana ke kom karingin atronmotom sifacna; Wikinyula ye lulin poum,
Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me in the shadow of Thy wings,
9 Liki anwuk lun mwet koluk. Mwet lokoalok akmas elos rauniyula;
From the wicked that oppress, my deadly enemies, that compass me about.
10 Wangin pakomuta lalos ac elos kaskas filang.
Their gross heart they have shut tight, with their mouth they speak proudly.
11 Elos rauniyula yen nukewa nga forla nu we, Ac elos suk na pacl wo lalos in uniyuwi.
At our every step they have now encompassed us; they set their eyes to cast us down to the earth.
12 Elos soaneyu oana kosro lion, Ac kena sreyuwi nu ke ip srisrik.
He is like a lion that is eager to tear in pieces, and like a young lion lurking in secret places.
13 Fahsru, O LEUM GOD! Lain mwet lokoalok luk ac kutangulosla! Moliyula liki mwet koluk ke cutlass nutum;
Arise, O LORD, confront him, cast him down; deliver my soul from the wicked, by Thy sword;
14 Moliyula lukelos su eis insewowo lalos in moul se inge. Kaelos ke ongoiya su kom elosak nu selos; Oru in yohk tuh in sun pac tulik natulos, Ac in oasr pac ma lula nu sin tulik nutin tulik natulos!
From men, by Thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, whose portion is in this life, and whose belly Thou fillest with Thy treasure; who have children in plenty, and leave their abundance to their babes.
15 A funu nga, nga ac fah liye kom, mweyen nga tia oru ma koluk; Ac ke nga ngutalik, nga fah arulana engan ke sripen kom muta yuruk.
As for me, I shall behold Thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with Thy likeness.
