Psalm 147
1 Kaksakin LEUM GOD! Wo in yuk on in kaksak nu sin God lasr; Ma fal ac mwe insewowo in kaksakinyuk El.
Alleluia, [a Psalm] of Aggaeus and Zacharias. Praise ye the Lord: for psalmody is a good thing; let praise be sweetly sung to our God.
2 LEUM GOD El sifilpa musaeak Jerusalem; El sifilpa folokonma mwet sruoh.
The Lord builds up Jerusalem; and he will gather together the dispersed of Israel.
3 El akkeye inse su musalla Ac pwelah kinet kaclos.
He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
4 El pakiya pisen itu uh Ac El sang inen kais sie selos.
He numbers the multitudes of stars; and calls them all by names.
5 Leum lasr El fulat ac ku; Lalmwetmet lal tia ku in srikeyuki.
Great is our Lord, and great is his strength; and his understanding is infinite.
6 El tulokunulosyak su pilesreyuk, Ac itungya mwet koluk nu infohk uh.
The Lord lifts up the meek; but brings sinners down to the ground.
7 Yuk on in kaksak nu sin LEUM GOD; Srital ke harp nu sin God lasr.
Begin [the song] with thanksgiving to the Lord; sing praises on the harp to our God:
8 El asroelik pukunyeng inkusrao; El supwama af nu faclu Ac El oru tuh mah in kap fin inging uh.
who covers the heaven with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who causes grass to spring up on the mountains, [[and green herb for the service of men; ]]
9 El sang nu sin kosro ma nalos, Ac kite won raven fusr ke elos pang.
and gives cattle their food, and to the young ravens that call upon him.
10 LEUM GOD El tia insewowo ke horse ku, El tia pac engankin mwet mweun pulaik;
He will not take pleasure in the strength of a horse; neither is he well-pleased with the legs of a man.
11 Ac El insewowo selos su akfulatyal, Ac lulalfongi ke lungse kawil lal.
The Lord takes pleasure in them that fear him, and in all that hope in his mercy.
12 Kaksakin LEUM GOD, O Jerusalem! Kaksakin God lom, O Zion!
Alleluia, a Psalm of Aggaeus and Zacharias. Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Sion.
13 El akkeye mutunpot lom, Ac El akinsewowoye mwet lom.
For he has strengthened the bars of thy gates; he has blessed thy children within thee.
14 El taran masrol ke facl sum tuh in misla; El akkihpye kom ke wheat na wowo.
He makes thy borders peaceful, and fills thee with the flour of wheat.
15 El sang sie sap ku nu sin faclu, Ac ma El fahk uh sa in orekla.
He sends his oracle to the earth: his word will run swiftly.
16 El oralik snow oana sie kaot, Ac El oralik aunfong oana kutkut.
He gives snow like wool: he scatters the mist like ashes.
17 El supwama af yohk kosra oana fikar; Wangin mwet ku in muteng mihsrisr kac.
Casting [forth] his ice like morsels: who shall stand before his cold?
18 Na El sang sap ku lal, ac ice uh kofelik; El supwama eng, ac kof uh asrla.
He shall send out his word, and melt them: he shall blow [with] his wind, and the waters shall flow.
19 El fahkak kas lal nu sin mwet lal — Mwe luti lal ac ma sap lal nu sin Israel.
He sends his word to Jacob, his ordinances and judgments to Israel.
20 El tia oru ouinge nu sin kutena mutunfacl saya. Elos tia etu ma sap lal. Kaksakin LEUM GOD!
He has not done so to any [other] nation; and he has not shewn them his judgments.
