< Psalm 141 >

1 [Psalm lal David] Nga pang nu sum, LEUM GOD. Kasreyu inge! Lipsreyu ke nga pang nu sum.
Lord, I cry to you: make haste to me; give ear to my voice, when I cry to you.
2 Eis pre luk in oana mwe kisa keng, Ac ke nga sralak pouk, eis in oana mwe kisa in eku.
Let my prayer be set forth before you as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
3 LEUM GOD, filiya sie mwe karinginyen oalik, Ac mwe taran srungul lun ngoasrok.
Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
4 Ikolyuwi tuh nga in tia lungse oru ma koluk, Ac in tia wi mwet koluk ke ma elos oru. Lela nga in tiana ipeis ke kufwa lalos.
Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practice wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.
5 Sie mwet wo el ku in kaiyu ac aksuwosyeyu ke kulang lal, Tusruktu nga fah tia lela mwet koluk in akfulatyeyu, Mweyen nga pre in lain orekma koluk lalos pacl e nukewa.
Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.
6 Ke mwet kol lalos sisyukla liki fulu in eot uh, Na mwet uh ac fah etu lah kas luk pwaye.
When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
7 Oana sak su lipikyuki nu ke ip srisrik, Ouinge sri kaclos ac fah oan oaclik sisken kulyuk uh. (Sheol h7585)
Our bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth, as when one cuts and splits wood on the earth. (Sheol h7585)
8 Tusruktu nga nuna lulalfongi kom, LEUM GOD Kulana. Nga suk molela lom; Nikmet lela nga in misa!
But my eyes are to you, O GOD the Lord: in you is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.
9 Moliyula liki mwe kwasrip su elos orala in sruokyu, Ac liki sruhf lun mwet orekma koluk.
Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.
10 Lela tuh mwet koluk in putatyang nu in sruhf lalos sifacna A nga fahla na siska, ac tia sruoh.
Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I with escape.
