Psalm 139
1 [Psalm lal David] LEUM GOD, kom liyeyu ac eteyu.
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known [me].
2 Kom etu ma nukewa nga oru; Kom ne muta loes likiyu, kom etu nunak luk nukewa.
Thou knowest my down-sitting and my up rising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
3 Kom liyeyu lah nga orekma, ku nga mongla; Kom etu mukuikui luk nukewa.
Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted [with] all my ways.
4 Meet liki na nga kaskas, Kom etu tari lah mea nga ac fahk.
For [there is] not a word on my tongue, [but] lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
5 Kom apinyula ke siska nukewa, Kom karinginyu ke ku lom.
Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thy hand upon me.
6 Etu lom keik uh arulana yohk, Yohk liki ma nga ku in kalem kac.
[Such] knowledge [is] too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot [attain] to it.
7 Nga ac som nu ya in kaingla liki kom? Nga ac kaing nu ya liki ye motom?
Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I ascend into heaven, thou [art] there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou [art there]. (Sheol h7585)
9 Nga finne sokla loesla liki kutulap, Ku muta yen loeslana nu roto,
[If] I take the wings of the morning, [and] dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 Kom ac oasr pac we in pwenyu, Kom ac oasr pa ingo in kasreyu.
Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
11 Nga ku in siyuk lohsr uh in wikinyula Ku kalem su rauniyula in ekla nu ke fong,
If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
12 Tusruktu, lohsr uh el tia lohsr nu sum, Ac fong uh arulana kalem nu sum, oana len. Lohsr ac kalem oana sie nu sum.
Yes, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light [are] both alike [to thee].
13 Kom lumahla ip nukewa ke monuk; Kom oakiyuwi insien nina kiuk.
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 Nga kaksakin kom mweyen fal mwet uh in sangeng sum. Ma nukewa kom oru, usrnguk ac wolana, Nga etu ouinge ke insiuk nufon.
I will praise thee: for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made: wonderful [are] thy works; and [that] my soul well knoweth.
15 Ke mutawauk in lumweyuk sri keik uh, Ac oakiyuki wo insien nina kiuk, Ke nga kapkapak ingo in lukma, Kom nuna etu lah nga oasr we.
My substance was not hid from thee when I was made in secret, [and] curiously formed in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Kom tuh liyeyu meet liki nga isusla. Pisen len ma oakiyuki nu sik tuh nga in moul Simla tari in book nutum Meet liki na kais sie ma inge mutawauk.
Thy eyes saw my substance, yet being imperfect; and in thy book all [my members] were written, [which] in continuance were fashioned, when [as yet there was] none of them.
17 O God, arulana pus nunak lom, Ac arulana upa nu sik in kalem kac.
How precious also are thy thoughts to me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 Nga fin oek, pisalos ac pus liki puk uh. Ke nga ngutalik, nga srakna muta yurum.
[If] I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
19 O God, nga kena tuh kom in uniya mwet koluk! Nga arulana kena tuh mwet sulallal in fahsr likiyu.
Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
20 Elos fahk ma koluk keim; Elos fahk kas na koluk lain Inem.
For they speak against thee wickedly, [and] thy enemies take [thy name] in vain.
21 O LEUM GOD, nga arulana srungalos su srungakom! Nga kwaselos su tuyak lain Kom.
Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 Nga srungalos na pwaye; Nga oakalos mwet lokoalok luk.
I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them my enemies.
23 Liyeyu, O God, ac etu insiuk; Srikeyu, ac konauk nunak luk.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts:
24 Suk lah oasr kutena ma sufal in nga Ac kolyu ke inkanek kawil nu tok.
And see if [there is any] wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
