Psalm 138

1 [Psalm lal David] Nga sot kulo nu sum, LEUM GOD, ke insiuk nufon, Nga on kaksakin kom ye mutun god uh.

A Psalm for David, of Aggaeus and Zacharias. I will give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart; and I will sing psalms to you before the angels; for you have heard all the words of my mouth.

2 Nga forla nu ke Tempul mutal sum, Ac pasrla, ac kaksakin Inem Ke sripen lungse kawil ac pwaye lom, Oayapa ke kom akkalemye lah Inem, ac sap lom, fulat liki ma nukewa.

I will worship toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your name, on account of your mercy and your truth; for you have magnified your holy name above every thing.

3 Kom topukyu ke nga tuh pang nu sum; Ke ku lom, kom tuh akkeyeyu.

In whatever day I shall call upon you, hear me speedily; you shall abundantly provide me with your power in my soul.

4 Tokosra nukewa fin faclu elos fah kaksakin kom, LEUM GOD, Mweyen elos lohng wulela lom.

Let all the kings of the earth, o Lord, give thanks to you; for they have heard all the words of your mouth.

5 Elos ac fah onkakin orekma lom Ac ke wolana yohk lom.

And let them sing in the ways of the Lord; for great is the glory of the Lord.

6 Kom finne muta yen fulat, A kom nunku kaclos su pusisel, Ac kom suiya mwet filang yen loesla me.

For the Lord is high, and [yet] regards the lowly; and he knows high things from afar off.

7 Ke pacl mwe lokoalok rauniyula Kom karingyume. Kom lain kasrkusrak lun mwet lokoalok luk Ac kom moliyula ke po ku lom.

Though I should walk in the midst of affliction, you will quicken me; you have stretched forth your hands against the wrath of mine enemies, and your right hand has saved me.

8 Kom fah oru ma nukewa ma kom wulela kac; LEUM GOD, lungse lom oan ma pahtpat. Aksafyela orekma su kom mutawauk oru.

O Lord, you shall recompense [them] on my behalf: your mercy, O Lord, [endures] for ever: overlook not the works of your hands.
