What he Sware to Yahweh, —Vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:

Surely I will not enter the home of my own house, nor ascend my curtained couch;
4 Nga ac fah tia mongla ku motulla,
I will not give sleep to mine eyes, nor, to mine eye-lashes, slumber:
5 Nwe ke na nga orala sie acn in muta lun LEUM GOD, Sie lohm sin God Kulana lal Jacob.”
Until I find a place for Yahweh, habitations for the Mighty One of Jacob.
6 In acn Ephrathah kut tuh lohng ke Tuptup in Wuleang, Ac kut tuh konauk in acn Jearim.
Lo! we heard of it at Ephrathah, we found it in the fields of the wood.
7 Ac kut fahk, “Lela kut in som nu in lohm sin LEUM GOD; Lela kut in alu ye mutun tron lal.”
We would enter his habitations, we would bow down at his footstool.
8 LEUM GOD, fahsru nu ke Tempul uh, wi Tuptup in Wuleang Su akilenyen ku lom, Ac muta we nwe tok.
Arise! O Yahweh, unto thy place of rest, Thou, and the ark of thy strength.

Thy priests, let them be clothed with righteousness, Thy men of lovingkindness, let them shout for joy!

For the sake of David thy servant, do not turn away the face of thine Anointed One.
11 Kom tuh orala sie wulela ku nu sel David — Sie wulela ma kom fah tia sifil ekulla, su fahk: “Nga fah oru tuh sie sin wen nutum in tokosra, Ac el ac fah leum tukum.
Yahweh hath sworn unto David, in faithfulness, will he not turn from it, —Of the fruit of thy body, will I seat on thy throne.
12 Wen nutum fin pwaye insialos nu ke wuleang luk Ac nu ke ma sap luk su nga sang nu selos, Na wen natulos ac fah oayapa eis acn sum in tokosra nwe tok.”
If thy sons keep my covenant, and my testimony which I will teach them, even their sons, unto futurity, shall sit on thy throne.
13 LEUM GOD El sulela Zion; El lungse orala tuh in nien muta lal:
For Yahweh hath chosen Zion, —He hath desired it as a dwelling for himself:
14 “Pa inge nien muta luk nwe tok. Pa inge acn su nga lungse leum we.
This, is my place of rest unto futurity, Here, will I dwell, for I have desired it;
15 Nga fah akkasrupye Zion ke mwe enenu lal nukewa; Nga fah akkihpye mwet sukasrup lal ke mwe mongo.
Her provision, will I abundantly bless, Her needy ones, will I satisfy with bread;
16 Nga fah akinsewowoye mwet tol lal in ma nukewa elos oru, Ac mwet lal fah on ac sasa ke engan.
And, her priests, will I clothe with salvation, and, her men of lovingkindness, shall, shout aloud, for joy;
17 In acn se inge nga fah oru tuh sie sin fita lal David elan sie tokosra fulat; In acn se inge nga fah akloesye pacl in leum lun tokosra se su nga sulela.
There, will I cause to bud a horn to David, I have prepared a lamp for mine Anointed One;
18 Nga fah nokomla mwet lokoalok lal ke mwekin, A tokosrai lal fah kapkapak ac yokyokelik.”
His enemies, will I clothe with shame, but, upon himself, shall his crown be resplendent.
