Psalm 115
1 Nu sum mukena, O LEUM GOD, nu sum mukena Pa fal wolana in itukyang nu se, ac tia nu sesr, Ke sripen lungse pwaye lom ac oaru lom.
Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name let glory be given, because of your mercy and your unchanging faith.
2 Efu ku mutunfacl uh in siyuk sesr, “Ku pia God lowos an?”
Why may the nations say, Where is now their God?
3 God lasr El oasr inkusrao; El oru na ma El lungse oru.
But our God is in heaven: he has done whatever was pleasing to him.
4 A god lalos orekla ke silver ac gold, Ma na orekla ke poun mwet.
Their images are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
5 Oasr inwalulos, tuh tia ku in kaskas, Oasr pac mutalos, tuh tia ku in liye.
They have mouths, but no voice; they have eyes, but they see not;
6 Oasr insraclos, tuh tia ku in lohng, Oasr pac infwaclos, tuh tia ku in ngok.
They have ears, but no hearing; they have noses, but no sense of smell;
7 Oasr paolos, tuh tia ku in pula, Oasr nialos, tuh tia ku in fahsr; Wanginna pusraclos.
They have hands without feeling, and feet without power of walking; and no sound comes from their throat.
8 Lela tuh elos nukewa su orala ma inge ac lulalfongi kac, In ekla oana ma sruloala ma elos orala uh.
Those who make them are like them; and so is everyone who puts his faith in them.
9 O Israel, kowos in lulalfongi LEUM GOD, Tuh El kasrekowos ac karingin kowos.
O Israel, have faith in the Lord: he is their help and their breastplate.
10 Lulalfongi LEUM GOD, kowos mwet tol lun God, Tuh El kasrekowos ac karingin kowos.
O house of Aaron, have faith in the Lord: he is their help and their breastplate.
11 Lulalfongi LEUM GOD, kowos kewa su alu nu sel, Tuh El kasrekowos ac karingin kowos.
You worshippers of the Lord, have faith in the Lord: he is their help and their breastplate.
12 LEUM GOD El esam kut, ac El ac fah akinsewowoye kut; El ac fah akinsewowoye mwet Israel Ac mwet tol nukewa lun God.
The Lord has kept us in mind and will give us his blessing; he will send blessings on the house of Israel and on the house of Aaron.
13 El fah akinsewowoyalos nukewa su alu nu sel — Mwet fulat ac mwet srisrik, oana sie.
He will send blessings on the worshippers of the Lord, on the small and on the great.
14 Lela tuh LEUM GOD Elan akpusye tulik nutuwos Ac nutin fwil nutuwos.
May the Lord give you and your children still greater increase.
15 Lela tuh kowos in akinsewowoyeyuk sin LEUM GOD Su orala kusrao ac faclu!
May you have the blessing of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
16 Kusrao ma lun LEUM GOD mukena, A funu faclu, El sang nu sin mwet uh.
The heavens are the Lord's; but the earth he has given to the children of men.
17 Kutena mwet su oatula tari nu yen wangin kaskas we Elos tia kaksakin LEUM GOD.
The dead do not give praise to the Lord; or those who go down to the underworld.
18 A kut, su moul, kut fah sang kulo nu sel Inge ac nu tok ma pahtpat. Kaksakin LEUM GOD!
But we will give praise to the Lord now and for ever. Praise be to the Lord.
