Psalm 109
1 [Psalm lal David] Nga kaksakin kom, O God; nikmet mutana misla!
“For the leader of the music. A psalm of David.” O God of my praise! be not silent!

For the mouths of the wicked and the deceitful are opened against me; They speak against me with a lying tongue.

They assault me on every side with words of hatred; They fight against me without a cause.

For my love they are my adversaries: But I give myself unto prayer.

They repay me evil for good, And hatred for love.

Set thou a wicked man over him, And let an adversary stand at his right hand!

May his children be fatherless, And his wife a widow!

May his children be vagabonds and beggars, And from their ruined dwellings seek their bread!
11 Lela tuh mwet el orek soemoul yoro in eisla ma lal nukewa, Ac lela tuh mwetsac in eis woiyen orekma lal.
May a creditor seize on all that he hath, And a stranger plunder his substance!
12 Lela in wangin mwet sifilpa kulang nu sel Ac in wangin pac mwet lohang nu sin tulik mukaimtal natul uh.
May there be none to show him compassion, And none to pity his fatherless children!
13 Lela tuh fwil natul nukewa in misa, Ac in mulkinyukla inel ke fwil se tokol.
May his posterity be cut off; In the next generation may his name be blotted out!
14 Lela tuh LEUM GOD Elan esam na ma koluk lun papa tumal Ac tia nunak munas nu ke ma koluk lun nina kial.
May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered by the LORD, And may the sin of his mother never be blotted out!
15 Lela tuh LEUM GOD Elan esam ma koluk lalos pacl e nukewa, A elos sifacna in iyuklana ac tiana sifil esamyuk!
May they be before the LORD continually; And may he cut off their memory from the earth!
16 Mweyen mwet se ingan el tiana nunkauk elan moul in kulang; El akkeokye ac uniya mwet sukasrup, Mwet enenu, ac mwet munas.
Because he remembered not to show pity, But persecuted the afflicted and the poor man, And sought the death of the broken-hearted.
17 El lungse selngawi mwet — lela in selngawiyuk el! El srunga in akinsewowoye mwet — lela in wangin mwet akinsewowoyal!
As he loved cursing, let it come upon him; As he delighted not in blessing, let it be far from him!
18 El oru selnga uh fisrasr oana nuknukyang uh; Lela manol in toki ac arulana sroksroki ke selnga lal, Ac in tilyang nu in sri kacl oana mwe akmusra.
May he be clothed with cursing as with a garment; May it enter like water into his bowels, And like oil into his bones!

May it be to him like the robe that covereth him, Like the girdle with which he is constantly girded!
20 LEUM GOD, kalyei mwet lokoalok luk in lumah ingan — Elos su fahk kas koluk lainyu.
May this be the wages of mine adversaries from the LORD, And of them that speak evil against me!
21 Tusruktu, O LEUM GOD Fulat luk, kasreyu oana ke kom wulela, Ac moliyula ke wolana lun lungse lom.
But do thou, O LORD, my God! take part with me, For thine own name's sake! Because great is thy mercy, O deliver me!
22 Tuh nga mwet sukasrup ac enenu; Mwe keok luk arulana fakisya insiuk,
For I am afflicted and needy, And my heart is wounded within me.

I am going like a shadow; I am driven away as the locust.

My knees totter from fasting, And my flesh faileth of fatness.

I am a reproach to my enemies; They gaze at me; they shake their heads.
26 O LEUM GOD luk, kasreyu; Moliyula ke lungse pwaye lom.
Help me, O LORD, my God! O save me, according to thy mercy!

That they may know that this is thy hand; That thou, O Lord! hast done it!

Let them curse, but do thou bless! When they arise, let them be put to shame; But let thy servant rejoice!

May my enemies be clothed with ignominy; May they be covered with their shame, as with a mantle!
30 Nga fah sang kulo nu sin LEUM GOD ke pusra lulap; Nga fah kaksakunul in walil uh,
I will earnestly praise the LORD with my lips; In the midst of the multitude I will praise him.

For he standeth at the right hand of the poor, To save him from those who would condemn him.
