Psalm 109
1 [Psalm lal David] Nga kaksakin kom, O God; nikmet mutana misla!
Unto the end, a psalm for David.
2 Mwet koluk ac mwet kikiap elos lainyu. Elos fahk kas kikiap keik,
O God, be not thou silent in thy praise: for the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful man is opened against me.
3 Ac elos fahk kas koluk keik — Elos lainyu ke wangin sripa.
They have spoken against with deceitful tongues; and they have compassed me about with words of hatred; and have fought against me without cause.
4 Nga ne lungse elos ac pre kaclos A elos nu srungayu na.
Instead of making me a return of love, they detracted me: but I gave myself to prayer.
5 Elos folokin orekma wo luk ke orekma koluk, Ac srungayu ke nga lungse elos.
And they repaid me evil for good: and hatred for my love.
6 Sulela sie mwet nununku sesuwos in nununku mwet lokoalok luk, Ac lela sie mwet su srungal in tafwel.
Set thou the sinner over him: and may the devil stand at his right hand.
7 Lela in nununkeyuk el ac koneyukyak tuh na oasr mwatal. Lela God Elan akilen lah kas in pre lal uh oana sie ma koluk.
When he is judged, may he go out condemned; and may his prayer be turned to sin.
8 Lela tuh in fototo moul lal; Ac lela siena mwet in eis acn sel!
May his days be few: and his bishopric let another take.
9 Lela tuh tulik natul in mukaimtal, Ac mutan kial in katinmas!
May his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
10 Lela tulik natul in mwet takusrkusr ac mwet ngusr; Lela tuh elos in lillilyak liki mahnum in lohm elos muta loac.
Let his children be carried about vagabonds, and beg; and let them be cast out of their dwellings.
11 Lela tuh mwet el orek soemoul yoro in eisla ma lal nukewa, Ac lela tuh mwetsac in eis woiyen orekma lal.
May the userer search all his substance: and let strangers plunder his labours.
12 Lela in wangin mwet sifilpa kulang nu sel Ac in wangin pac mwet lohang nu sin tulik mukaimtal natul uh.
May there be none to help him: nor none to pity his fatherless offspring.
13 Lela tuh fwil natul nukewa in misa, Ac in mulkinyukla inel ke fwil se tokol.
May his posterity be cut off; in one generation may his name be blotted out.
14 Lela tuh LEUM GOD Elan esam na ma koluk lun papa tumal Ac tia nunak munas nu ke ma koluk lun nina kial.
May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered in the sight of the Lord: and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
15 Lela tuh LEUM GOD Elan esam ma koluk lalos pacl e nukewa, A elos sifacna in iyuklana ac tiana sifil esamyuk!
May they be before the lord continually, and let the memory of them perish from the earth:
16 Mweyen mwet se ingan el tiana nunkauk elan moul in kulang; El akkeokye ac uniya mwet sukasrup, Mwet enenu, ac mwet munas.
Because he remembered not to show mercy,
17 El lungse selngawi mwet — lela in selngawiyuk el! El srunga in akinsewowoye mwet — lela in wangin mwet akinsewowoyal!
But persecuted the poor man and the beggar; and the broken in heart, to put him to death.
18 El oru selnga uh fisrasr oana nuknukyang uh; Lela manol in toki ac arulana sroksroki ke selnga lal, Ac in tilyang nu in sri kacl oana mwe akmusra.
And he loved cursing, and it shall come unto him: and he would not have blessing, and it shall be far from him. And he put on cursing, like a garment: and it went in like water into his entrails, and like oil in his bones.
19 Lela selnga lal uh in nokmulla oana nuknuk Ac in losilya oana sie mwe lohl.
May it be unto him like a garment which covereth him; and like a girdle with which he is girded continually.
20 LEUM GOD, kalyei mwet lokoalok luk in lumah ingan — Elos su fahk kas koluk lainyu.
This is the work of them who detract me before the Lord; and who speak evils against my soul.
21 Tusruktu, O LEUM GOD Fulat luk, kasreyu oana ke kom wulela, Ac moliyula ke wolana lun lungse lom.
But thou, O Lord, do with for thy names sake: because thy mercy is sweet. Do thou deliver me.
22 Tuh nga mwet sukasrup ac enenu; Mwe keok luk arulana fakisya insiuk,
For I am poor and needy, and my heart is troubled within me.
23 Ac nga apkuran in wanginla, oana lullul in eku — Ukukla nga, oana sie won srisrik.
I am taken away like the shadow when it declineth: and I am shaken off as locusts.
24 Intik munasla ke wanginla loalok, Ac nga sri na kolo.
My knees are weakened through fasting: and my flesh is changed for oil.
25 Ke mwet elos liyeyu, elos isrunyu; Elos niwurwur sik ac usruk sifalos.
And I am become a reproach to them: they saw me and they shaked their heads,
26 O LEUM GOD luk, kasreyu; Moliyula ke lungse pwaye lom.
Help me, O Lord my God; save me according to thy mercy.
27 Oru tuh mwet lokoalok luk in etu Lah kom pa moliyula uh.
And let them know that this is thy hand: and that thou, O Lord, hast done it.
28 Sahp elos ac selngawiyu, tusruktu kom fah akinsewowoyeyu. Lela tuh elos su akkeokyeyu in kutangyukla, Ac lela tuh nga, su mwet kulansap lom, in engan.
They will curse and thou will bless: let them that rise up against me be confounded: but thy servant shall rejoice.
29 Lela mwet lokoalok luk in nukla ke mwekin; Lela elos in nokomang mwekin lalos oana sie nuknuk.
Let them that detract me be clothed with shame: and let them be covered with the their confusion as with a double cloak.
30 Nga fah sang kulo nu sin LEUM GOD ke pusra lulap; Nga fah kaksakunul in walil uh,
I will give great thanks to the Lord with my mouth: and in the midst of many I will praise him.
31 Mweyen El kasru el su sukasrup, Ac molella liki poun mwet su kena eisalang nu ke misa.
Because he hath stood at the right hand of the poor, to save my soul from persecutors.
