Don’t say, “I will pay back evil.” Wait for Adonai, and he will save you.

Adonai detests differing weights, and dishonest scales are not pleasing.
24 LEUM GOD El oakiya tari inkanek lasr uh, na sie mwet el ac etu fuka inkanek lun moul lal sifacna?
A man’s steps are from Adonai; how then can man understand his way?
25 Nunkala akwoya meet liki kom wulela in oru sie mwe kisa nu sin God. Sahp kom ac auli kac tok.
It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication, then later to consider his vows.
26 Sie tokosra lalmwetmet el ac konauk lah su orala ma koluk uh, na el fah sang kai nu sel ke wangin pakomuta.
A wise king winnows out the wicked, and drives the threshing wheel over them.
27 LEUM GOD El ase ngunasr, su oana sie kalem saromrom ma tolak nunak lukma nukewa lasr.
The spirit of man is Adonai’s lamp candle, searching all his innermost parts.
28 Sie tokosra fah mutana in wal lal ke lusenna pacl el oru ma pwaye, suwohs, ac fal.
Cheshed ·Loving-kindness· and faithfulness keep the king safe. His throne is sustained by cheshed ·loving-kindness·.
29 Wolana lun mwet fusr pa ku in mano lalos, ac oasku lun mwet matu pa aunsuf fiaya lalos.
The glory of young men is their strength. The splendor of old men is their gray hair.
30 Kutu pacl uh kaiyuk upa ku in ekulla ouiyen moul koluk lasr uh.
Wounding blows cleanse away evil, and beatings purge the innermost parts.
