Nehemiah 11

And the rulers of the people dwelt in Jerusalem, —and, the rest of the people, cast lots, to bring in one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine parts in [other] cities.

And the people bestowed a blessing on all the men, who willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.

Now, these, are the chiefs of the province, who dwelt in Jerusalem, but, in the cities of Judah, dwelt every man in his possession throughout their cities, Israel, the priests, and the Levites and the Nethinim, and the Sons of the Servants of Solomon.

4 [Mwet in sruf lun Judah]: Athaiah, wen natul Uzziah, wen natul Zechariah. Mwet matu saya in sou lal pa Amariah, Shephatiah, ac Mahalalel, su fwilin tulik natul Perez, wen natul Judah.

And, in Jerusalem, dwelt certain of the sons of Judah and of the sons of Benjamin, —Of the sons of Judah, Athaiah son of Uzziah, son of Zechariah, son of Amariah, son of Shephatiah, son of Mahalalel, of the sons of Perez;

5 Maaseiah, wen natul Baruch, wen natul Colhozeh. Mwet matu saya in sou lal pa Hazaiah, Adaiah, Joiarib, ac Zechariah, su fwilin tulik natul Shelah, wen natul Judah.

and Maaseiah son of Baruch, son of Col-hozeh, son of Hazaiah, son of Adaiah, son of Joiarib, son of Zechariah, son of the Shilonite.

6 Mwet pulaik angfoko onngoul oalkosr sin fwilin tulik natul Perez, elos muta in Jerusalem.

All the sons of Perez who were dwelling in Jerusalem, four hundred and sixty-eight, men of ability.

7 [Mwet in sruf lun Benjamin]: Sallu, wen natul Meshullam, wen natul Joed. Mwet matu saya in sou lal pa Pedaiah, Kolaiah, Maaseiah, Ithiel, ac Jeshaiah.

And, these, are the sons of Benjamin, —Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Joed, son of Pedaiah, son of Kolaiah, son of Maaseiah, son of Ithiel, son of Jeshaiah;

8 Gabbai ac Sallai, sou fototo nu sel Sallu. Pisen mwet Benjamin nukewa su muta in Jerusalem pa eufoko longoul oalkosr.

and, after him, Gabbai, Sallai, —nine hundred and twenty-eight.

9 Joel, wen natul Zichri, pa mwet kol lalos, ac Judah, wen natul Hassenuah, pa akluo yal in kol siti sac.

And, Joel son of Zichri, was in charge over them, —and, Judah son of Hassenuah, was over the city, as second.

10 [Mwet Tol]: Jedaiah, wen natul Joiarib, ac Jachin.

Of the priests, Jedaiah son of Joiarib, Jachin;

11 Seraiah, wen natul Hilkiah, wen natul Meshullam. Mwet matu saya in sou lal pa Zadok, Meraioth, ac Ahitub, su Mwet Tol Fulat.

Seraiah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, chief ruler of the house of God;

12 Inmasrlon sou se inge, mwet oalfoko longoul luo pa kulansap in Tempul. Adaiah, wen natul Jeroham, wen natul Pelaliah. Mwet matu saya in sou lal pa Amzi, Zechariah, Pashhur, ac Malchijah.

and their brethren who were doing the work of the house, eight hundred and twenty-two, —and Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pelaliah, son of Amzi, son of Zechariah, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah;

13 Mwet luofoko angngaul luo in sou lulap se inge elos sifen sou. Amashsai, wen natul Azarel, wen natul Ahzai. Mwet matu saya in sou lal pa Meshillemoth ac Immer.

and his brethren, ancestral chiefs, two hundred and forty-two, —and Amashsai son of Azarel, son of Ahzai, son of Meshillemoth, son of Immer;

14 Mwet siofok longoul oalkosr in sou se inge elos mwet mweun pulaik. Mwet kol lalos pa Zabdiel, wen nutin sie sou pwengpeng.

and their brethren, strong men of ability, a hundred and twenty-eight, —and, he who was in charge of them, was Zabdiel, son of Haggedolim.

15 [Mwet Levi]: Shemaiah, wen natul Hasshub, wen natul Azrikam. Mwet matu saya in sou lal pa Hashabiah ac Bunni.

And, of the Levites, Shemaiah son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son of Bunni;

16 Shabbethai ac Jozabad, mwet Levi eteyuk ac elos pa liaung orekma likin Tempul.

and Shabbethai and Jozabad, over the outside business of the house of God, of the chiefs of the Levites;

17 Mattaniah, wen natul Mica, wen natul Zabdi, sie mwet in fita lal Asaph. El kol mwet on lun Tempul ke elos alullul ke pre in sang kulo. Bakbukiah, su mwet kasru lal Mattaniah. Abda, wen natul Shammua, wen natul Galal, sie mwet in fwilin tulik natul Jeduthun.

and Mattaniah son of Mica, son of Zabdi, son of Asaph, leader of the praise who giveth thanks, in prayer, and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, —and Obadiah son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun.

18 Pisen mwet Levi nukewa su muta in siti mutal Jerusalem pa luofoko oalngoul akosr.

All the Levites in the holy city, were two hundred and eighty-four.

19 [Mwet topang ke mutunoa lun Tempul]: Akkub, Talmon, ac mwet wialos, elos mwet siofok itngoul luo nufon.

And, the door-keepers—Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren who were keeping watch in the gates, were a hundred and seventy-two.

20 Mwet lula sin mwet Israel, ac mwet lula sin mwet tol ac mwet Levi, elos muta yen selos sifacna in siti srisrik ac siti lulap saya in Judah.

But, the residue of Israel, the priests, the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.

21 Mwet orekma lun Tempul elos muta ke ipin acn se Jerusalem pangpang Ophel, ac orekma ye kolyuk lal Ziha ac Gishpa.

Howbeit, the Nethinim, were dwelling in Ophel, —and, Ziha and Gishpa, were over the Nethinim.

22 Mwet se ma liyaung mwet Levi su muta in Jerusalem pa Uzzi, wen natul Bani, wen natul Hashabiah. Mwet matu saya in sou lal pa Mattaniah ac Mica, ac el ma in sou lulap lun Asaph. Sou se inge pa fosrngakin on ke pacl in alu ke Tempul.

And, the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem, was Uzzi son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Mica, —of the sons of Asaph the singers, to take lead in the business of the house of God.

23 Oasr oakwuk fulat orekla tuh kais sie sou in kol on ke Tempul ke kais sie len.

For, the commandment of the king, was upon them, —as to a fixed provision for the singers, the need of a day upon its day.

24 Pethahiah, wen natul Meshezabel, in sou lal Zerah ac sruf lun Judah, el mwet aolyen mwet Jew nu sin tokosra Persia.

And, Pethahiah son of Meshezabel, of the sons of Zerah, son of Judah, was at the hand of the king, in every matter pertaining to the people.

25 Pus mwet muta ke acn apkuran nu ke ima lalos. Elos su ma in sruf lal Judah muta Kiriath Arba, Dibon, ac Jekabzeel, ac ke inkul ma oan apkuran nu ke acn inge.

And, as for the villages in their fields, some of the sons of Judah, dwelt in Kiriath-arba, and the hamlets thereof, and in Dibon, and the hamlets thereof, and in Jekabzeel, and the villages thereof;

26 Elos oayapa muta in siti lun Jeshua, Moladah, Bethpelet,

and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth-pelet;

27 ac Hazarshual, ac in Beersheba ac inkul ma rauneak acn we.

and in Hazar-shual, and in Beer-sheba, and the hamlets thereof;

28 Elos muta in siti Ziklag, ac in Meconah ac inkul ma apkuran nu Meconah,

and in Ziklag, and in Meconah, and in the hamlets thereof,

29 in Enrimmon, Zorah, Jarmuth,

and in En-rimmmon, and in Zorah, and in Jarmuth;

30 Zanoah, Adullam, ac inkul ma apkuran nu ke acn inge. Elos muta in Lachish ac ke ima ma apkuran nu we, ac in Azekah ac inkul ma rauneak. Kalmac pa mwet Judah elos muta ke acn inmasrlon Beersheba layen eir nwe ke Infahlfal Hinnom layen epang.

Zanoah, Adullam and their villages, Lachish, and the fields thereof, Azekah, and the hamlets thereof, —so they encamped from Beer-sheba, unto the valley of Hinnom.

31 Mwet in sruf lun Benjamin elos muta in Geba, Michmash, Ai, Bethel, ac inkul ma apkuran nu we,

And, the sons of Benjamin, [dwelt] from Geba, to Michmas and Aija, and Bethel, and the hamlets thereof:

32 Anathoth, Nob, Anaiah,

Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah;

33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim;

34 Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,

Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat;

35 Lod, ac Ono, ac ke Infahlfal lun Mwet Tufahl.

Lod and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.

36 Kutu u lun mwet Levi su tuh muta in acn lun Judah mokleyukla elos in muta yurin mwet Benjamin.

Howbeit, of the Levites, certain courses of Judah, pertained unto Benjamin.
