Matthew 24
1 Jesus el fahsr liki Tempul ac ke el som, mwet tumal lutlut elos tuku nu yorol ac srisrngi nu sel musaiyen lohm ke Tempul uh.
And Jesus went forth and went away from the temple, and his disciples came to [him] to point out to him the buildings of the temple.
2 Ac el fahk, “Aok, wo komtal in liye ma inge nukewa. Pwayena nga fahk nu suwos, wangin sie sin eot inge ac fah oan yen oan we uh — nufonna ac fah oeyuki.”
And he answering said to them, Do ye not see all these things? Verily I say to you, Not a stone shall be left here upon a stone which shall not be thrown down.
3 Ke Jesus el muta Fineol Olive, mwet tumal lutlut elos tuku nu yorol in lukma ac siyuk sel, “Fahkma nu sesr lah ma inge ac sikyak ngac, ac pia akilenyen tuku lom uh ac saflaiyen faclu.” (aiōn g165)
And as he was sitting upon the mount of Olives the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be, and what is the sign of thy coming and [the] completion of the age? (aiōn g165)
4 Jesus el topuk ac fahk nu selos, “Liyekowosyang, tuh kowos in tia kiapweyukla sin kutena mwet.
And Jesus answering said to them, See that no one mislead you.
5 Mwet puspis ac mau tuku, su fahk mu elos kaskas inek, ac fahk, ‘Nga pa Messiah!’ Ac elos ac kiapwela mwet puspis.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and they shall mislead many.
6 Kowos ac fah lohng pusren mweun yen apkuran, ac pweng ke mweun yen loessula me, tusruktu nik kowos fosrnga. Ma inge ac nuna sikyak, tusruktu tia pa inge saflaiyen faclu.
But ye will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that ye be not disturbed; for all [these things] must take place, but it is not yet the end.
7 Mutanfahl ac fah tuyak lain mutanfahl, tokosrai ac fah lain sie sin sie. Ac fah oasr sracl lulap ac kusrusr in acn nukewa.
For nation shall rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places.
8 Ma inge nukewa oana polo ngal se meet lun sie mutan su akola in isus.
But all these [are the] beginning of throes.
9 “Na mwet uh ac mau sruokkowosi ac eiskowosyang in akkeokye kowos nwe ke anwuki kowos. Mwet e nukewa ac fah srungakowos ke sripuk.
Then shall they deliver you up to tribulation, and shall kill you; and ye will be hated of all the nations for my name's sake.
10 Mwet puspis ac fah fuhleak lulalfongi lalos ke pacl sacn; elos ac tukakunak sie sin sie, ac kwase sie sin sie.
And then will many be offended, and will deliver one another up, and hate one another;
11 Na mwet palu kikiap puspis ac fah sikyak ac kiapwela mwet puspis.
and many false prophets shall arise and shall mislead many;
12 Ke sripen ma koluk uh ac yokyokelik in acn nukewa, oru lungse lun mwet uh ac sriksrikeni.
and because lawlessness shall prevail, the love of the most shall grow cold;
13 Tusruktu, kutena mwet su muteng nwe ke safla, el ac fah moul.
but he that has endured to the end, he shall be saved.
14 Ac Pweng Wo inge ke Tokosrai uh ac fah lutiyuk fin faclu nufon in mwe loh nu sin mwet nukewa; na faclu fah safla.
And these glad tidings of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole habitable earth, for a witness to all the nations, and then shall come the end.
15 “Kowos ac fah liye Mwe Srungayuk Lulap ma mwet palu Daniel el tuh fahkak kac. Ma sruloala se inge ac fah tulokyak in acn mutal uh.” (El su rit kas inge, lela elan etu kalmac!)
When therefore ye shall see the abomination of desolation, which is spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in [what is a] holy place, (he that reads let him understand, )
16 “Na elos su muta Judea elos ac enenu in kaingla nu fineol uh.
then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains;
17 Sie mwet su muta fin mangon lohm sel uh elan tia sisla pacl in oatui ac eis kutena ma lal liki lohm sel uh.
let not him that is on the house come down to take the things out of his house;
18 Mwet se su muta in ima uh elan tia folokla in eis coat lal.
and let not him that is in the field turn back to take his garment.
19 Ac fah arulana koluk nu sin mutan su pitutu in pacl sac, ac mutan su tufahna isusla uh.
But woe to those that are with child, and those that give suck in those days.
20 Pre nu sin God tuh kowos fah tia enenu in kaingla in pacl in mihsrisr, ku ke len Sabbath!
But pray that your flight may not be in winter time nor on sabbath:
21 Tuh mwe ongoiya in pacl sac ac fah arulana yohk liki kutena kain koluk ma sikyak oemeet me nwe misenge. Ac fah tia pac sikyak ouinge nwe tok.
for then shall there be great tribulation, such as has not been from [the] beginning of [the] world until now, nor ever shall be;
22 Tusruktu God El akpuyela tari pisen len uh; El funu tia oru ouinge, lukun wangin mwet moulla. Tusruktu ke sripen mwet su El sulela, God El ac akpuyela len uh.
and if those days had not been cut short, no flesh had been saved; but on account of the elect those days shall be cut short.
23 “Na kutena mwet fin fahk nu suwos, ‘Liye! Messiah el a inge!’ Ku el fin fahk, ‘El a ingo!’ — nimet kowos lulalfongi.
Then if any one say to you, Behold, here is the Christ, or here, believe [it] not.
24 Tuh Messiah kikiap ac mwet palu kikiap ac fah sikyak; elos ac fah oru ma usrnguk ac ma sakirik puspis in kiapwela mwet sulela lun God, elos fin ku.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall give great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.
25 Lohng akwoye! Nga akkalemye ma inge nu suwos meet liki pacl ac sikyak.
Behold, I have told you beforehand.
26 “Mwet fin fahk nu suwos, ‘Liye! El oasr yen mwesis ah!’ — nimet som nu we; ku, elos fin fahk, ‘Liye, el a wikla in lohm uh!’ — nimet kowos lulalfongi.
If therefore they say to you, Behold, he is in the desert, go not forth; behold, [he is] in the inner chambers, do not believe [it].
27 Tuh Wen nutin Mwet el ac tuku oana sarom uh su sarmelik apunla kusrao nufon, kutulap nwe roto.
For as the lightning goes forth from the east and shines to the west, so shall be the coming of the Son of man.
28 “Kutena acn ma oasr mano misa we, won ma kang mano misa uh elos ac ueni we.
[For] wherever the carcase is, there will be gathered the eagles.
29 “Ac tia paht tukun mwe ongoiya in len ingo, faht uh ac fah lohsrla, malem uh ac fah tia sifil kalem, itu uh fah putatla liki kusrao, ac ku su oan yen engyeng uh ac fah lisyukla liki acn selos.
But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
30 Na mwe akul lun Wen nutin Mwet ac fah sikme yen engyeng uh; ac mwet nukewa fin faclu ac fah tung ke elos liye Wen nutin Mwet el tuku inkusrao me fin pukunyeng uh ke ku ac wolana yohk lal.
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the land lament, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 Pusren mwe ukuk lulap ac fah kasla, ac Wen nutin Mwet el fah supwalik lipufan lal nu fin faclu nufon, ac elos ac fah eisani mwet sulosolla lal liki acn nukewa faclu.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from [the one] extremity of [the] heavens to [the other] extremity of them.
32 “Lela sak fig uh in luti kowos ke sie mwe luti. Ke pacl se lesak uh tufahna srunak sroa, na kowos etu lah pacl fol uh apkuran me.
But learn the parable from the fig-tree: When already its branch becomes tender and produces leaves, ye know that the summer is near.
33 In luma sac pacna, ke kowos ac liye ma inge nukewa, kowos ac etu lah pacl uh apkuran me, akuranna mutauauk.
Thus also ye, when ye see all these things, know that it is near, at the doors.
34 Pwayena nga fahk nu suwos, lah ma inge nukewa ac sikyak meet liki mwet ma moul in pacl se inge ac misa.
Verily I say to you, This generation will not have passed away until all these things shall have taken place.
35 Kusrao ac faclu ac fah wanginla, a kas luk ac fah tiana wanginla.
The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but my words shall in no wise pass away.
36 “Tusruktu, wangin mwet etu lah len sac ku ao sac ac tuku ngac — tia pac lipufan inkusrao, ku Wen. Papa mukefanna pa etu.
But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of the heavens, but [my] Father alone.
37 Pacl in tuku lun Wen nutin Mwet ac fah oana ke ma tuh sikyak in len lal Noah ah.
But as the days of Noe, so also shall be the coming of the Son of man.
38 Kutu len meet liki sronot sac, mwet uh mongo ac nim, mukul ac mutan orek payuk, nwe ke na len se ma Noah el sroang nu fin oak ah.
For as they were in the days which were before the flood, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day on which Noe entered into the ark,
39 Elos tiana etu ke ma ac sikyak uh, nwe ke na sronot ah tuku, ac pahtkakunulosla. Ac fah ouinge pac ke pacl se Wen nutin Mwet el ac tuku uh.
and they knew not till the flood came and took all away; thus also shall be the coming of the Son of man.
40 In pacl sacn, mukul luo ac tukeni orekma inima uh: sie ac fah utukla, ac sie ac mutana.
Then two shall be in the field, one is taken and one is left;
41 Mutan luo ac fah tukeni ilil flao ke sie mwe ilil: sie ac fah utukla, ac sie ac mutana.
two [women] grinding at the mill, one is taken and one is left.
42 Ke ma inge kowos tawi ac karinganang, mweyen kowos tia etu len se Leum lowos el ac tuku.
Watch therefore, for ye know not in what hour your Lord comes.
43 Funu sie mwet etu ke pacl sie mwet pisrapasr ac tuku nu lohm sel an, kalem lah el ac ngetnget na ac tia lela mwet pisrapasr sac in kunauselik lohm sel ac utyak.
But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have watched and not have suffered his house to be dug through [into].
44 Ke ma inge, kowos pac, kowos enenu in akola pacl nukewa, mweyen Wen nutin Mwet el ac tuku ke sie ao ma kowos tia etu kac.
Wherefore ye also, be ye ready, for in that hour that ye think not the Son of man comes.
45 “Na su sie mwet kulansap oaru ac lalmwetmet? El pa mwet se su leum lal el filiya in kol mwet kulansap wial, ac elan kitalos ke pacl fal uh.
Who then is the faithful and prudent bondman whom his lord has set over his household, to give them food in season?
46 Fuka lupan insewowo lun mwet kulansap se inge leum lal el fin foloko nu lohm sel ac konauk lah el oru ma inge!
Blessed is that bondman whom his lord on coming shall find doing thus.
47 Pwayena nga fahk nu suwos, leum sac el ac sang tuh mwet kulansap se inge in liyaung ma lal nukewa.
Verily I say unto you, that he will set him over all his substance.
48 Tusruktu, el fin mwet kulansap koluk se, el ac sifacna nunku sel mu leum se lal inge ac tia sa in foloko,
But if that evil bondman should say in his heart, My lord delays to come,
49 na el ac mutawauk in uni mwet kulansap wial, ac mongo ac nimnim yurin mwet sruhi.
and begin to beat his fellow-bondmen, and eat and drink with the drunken;
50 Na leum lun mwet kulansap sac ac foloko ke len se ac ao se ma mwet kulansap sac tia etu kac.
the lord of that bondman shall come in a day when he does not expect it, and in an hour he knows not of,
51 Leum lal ac sang kai na upa nu sel, oana ma fal nu sin sie mwet wosounkas. Ingo el ac fah tung, keok ac ngalis inwihsel.
and shall cut him in two and appoint his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
