Malachi 2

1 LEUM GOD Kulana El fahk nu sin mwet tol uh, “Ma sap se inge ma nu suwos:

And now, this commandment is for you, O ye priests.

2 Kowos enenu in sunakinyu ke ma kowos oru uh. Kowos fin tia porongo ma nga fahk, na nga ac selngawi kowos, ac nga fah oayapa selngawi mwe insewowo nu suwos. Aok, nga selngawi tari ma ingan mweyen kowos tiana arulana lohang nu ke sap luk.

If ye will not hearken, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto My name, saith the LORD of hosts, then will I send the curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings; yea, I curse them, because ye do not lay it to heart.

3 Nga ac fah kai tulik nutuwos uh, ac ilya motowos ke fohkon kosro ma kowos kisakin — ac kowos fah utukla nu yen yol in fohkon kosro uh oan we.

Behold, I will rebuke the seed for your hurt, and will spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your sacrifices; and ye shall be taken away unto it.

4 Na kowos fah etu lah nga pa sapkin ma inge nu suwos, tuh wuleang luk nu sin mwet tol uh, aok mwet in sruf lal Levi, in oanna ku.

Know then that I have sent this commandment unto you, that My covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

5 “In wuleang luk ah nga tuh wulela mu nga ac sang moul ac misla nu selos, ac pa ingan ma nga oru nu selos, tuh elos in akfulatyeyu. In len ingo elos tuh akfulatyeyu ac sangeng sik.

My covenant was with him of life and peace, and I gave them to him, and of fear, and he feared Me, and was afraid of My name.

6 Elos tuh luti ma pwaye, ac tia ma sutuu. Elos tuh moul fal nu ke ma lungse luk. Elos sifacna oru ma suwohs, ac elos oayapa kasru mwet puspis saya in tui liki orekma koluk.

The law of truth was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found in his lips; he walked with Me in peace and uprightness, and did turn many away from iniquity.

7 Ma kunen mwet tol uh in luti mwet uh in etu ma pwaye. Mwet uh enenu in som nu yorolos ac lutlut ke ma lungse luk, mweyen elos pa mwet in fahkak kas lun LEUM GOD Kulana.

For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth; for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

8 “Tusruktu inge, kowos mwet tol uh srola tari liki inkanek pwaye. Luti lowos furokla mwet puspis in oru ma sutuu. Kowos kunausla wuleang su nga orala yuruwos ah.

But ye are turned aside out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble in the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

9 Ke ma inge, pacl luk in oru tuh mwet Israel in kwase kowos, mweyen kowos tia akos lungse luk, ac ke kowos luti mwet luk uh kowos tia oru in oana sie nu sin mwet nukewa.”

Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept My ways, but have had respect of persons in the law.

10 Ya tia papa sefanna tumasr? Ya tia God sefanna pa orekutla nukewa uh? Na efu ku kut kunausla wulela lasr nu sin sie sin sie, ac srunga wuleang su God El orala yurin mwet matu lasr meet ah?

Have we not all one father? Hath not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, profaning the covenant of our fathers?

11 Mwet Judah elos kunausla wuleang lalos nu sin God, ac oru sie ma koluk lulap in Jerusalem ac in facl sac nufon. Elos aktaekyala Tempul su LEUM GOD El lungse. Mukul uh payuk sin mutan su alu nu sin god lun mutunfacl saya.

Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which He loveth, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.

12 Lela LEUM GOD Elan lusla kutena mwet su oru ma inge liki sruf nukewa lun Israel, ac tiana sifil lela in oasr ip kunalos ke mwe sang su mutunfacl sesr us nu yurin LEUM GOD Kulana.

May the LORD cut off to the man that doeth this, him that calleth and him that answereth out of the tents of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts.

13 Pa inge sie pac ma kowos oru: kowos tung mwemelil ac nwakla loang lun LEUM GOD ke sroninmotowos, mweyen El tia sifilpa engan in eis mwe sang kowos us nu yorol.

And this further ye do: ye cover the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with sighing, insomuch that He regardeth not the offering any more, neither receiveth it with good will at your hand.

14 Kowos siyuk lah efu ku El tia sifil engan in eis ma inge. Mweyen El etu lah kowos kunausla wulela lowos nu sin mutan kiowos su kowos payukyak se ke pacl kowos mwet fusr. El pa mutan tafweyom, ac kom kunausla wulela lom nu sel, kom ne orala wuleang lom ye mutun God lah kom ac fah pwaye nu sel.

Yet ye say: 'Wherefore?' Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously, though she is thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

15 Ya God El tia orala tuh komtal in mano sefanna ac ngun sefanna? Mea sripa lal ke El oru ouinge uh? El oru tuh in oasr tulik nutumtal su ac mwet na pwaye lun God. Ke ma inge, arulana karinganang tuh wangin sie suwos in kunausla wulela lal nu sin mutan kial.

And not one hath done so who had exuberance of spirit! For what seeketh the one? a seed given of God. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

16 LEUM GOD lun Israel El fahk, “Nga srunga payuk fahsrelik uh. Nga srunga ke pacl se sie suwos oru ouiya sulallal se inge nu sin mutan kial. Karinganang tuh kom in tia kunausla wulela lom nu sin mutan kiom, a kom in pwayena nu sel.”

For I hate putting away, saith the LORD, the God of Israel, and him that covereth his garment with violence, saith the LORD of hosts; therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

17 Kowos aktotoyalla LEUM GOD ke sramsram lowos. A kowos siyuk, “Mea kut aktotoyal kac?” Ke kowos fahk mu, “LEUM GOD Kulana El nunku mwet orekma koluk nukewa elos wona, ac El insewowo kaclos.” Oayapa ke kowos siyuk, “Pia God se su nununku suwohs?”

Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say: 'Wherein have we wearied Him?' In that ye say: 'Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and He delighteth in them; or where is the God of justice?'
