1 Nga pa sie su pula tari kalyeiyuk sin God.
I, am the man, that hath seen affliction, by the rod of his indignation;
2 El pwenyu ac sap nga in som nu yen lohsr matoltol.
Me, hath he driven out and brought into darkness, and not light;
3 El sringilyu na sringilyu ke sringsring na upa.
Surely, against me, doth he again and again, turn his hand all the day.
4 El kanteya monuk ac kinet keik oan mangelik, ac el koteya sri keik.
He hath worn out my flesh and my skin, hath broken my bones;
5 El kuhlusyuyak ke mwe keok ac fosrnga lulap.
He hath built up against me, and carried round me, fortifications and a trench;
6 El patokyula in muta in acn na lohsrlosr ac foulin ma misa oan we.
In dark places, hath he made me sit, like the dead of age-past times.
7 El kapriyuwi ke sein; nga sie mwet kapir su wangin finsrak la in kaingla.
He hath walled up around me, that I cannot get out, hath weighted my fetter;
8 Nga wowoyak nu lucng in suk kasru, tusruktu God El tia lungse porongeyu.
Yea, when I make outcry and implore, he hath shut out my prayer;
9 Nga tukulkul ke nga fahsr, ac pot eot uh kosreyula yen nukewa nga for nu we.
He hath walled in my ways with hewn stone, my paths, hath he caused to wind back.
10 El kasrikiyu oana soko bear; el sroma nu fuk oana soko lion.
A bear lying in wait, he is to me, a lion, in secret places;
11 El ukweyuyak liki inkanek uh, seseya monuk nu ke ip srisrik, na El som likiyu.
My ways, hath he turned aside, and hath torn me in pieces, hath made me desolate;
12 El amakinya mwe pisr natul ah, ac oru tuh in nga pa El akola in pisrik uh.
He hath trodden his bow, and set me up, as a mark for the arrow.
13 El pusrukma sukan pisr natul, na liksreni tilyang nu in monuk.
He hath caused to enter my reins, the sons of his quiver;
14 Mwet uh isrunyu len nufon se; nga mwe tafunkas nu selos nukewa.
I have become a derision to all my people, their song all the day;
15 Mwe keok upa mukena pa El ase tuh in mwe mongo nak ac ma nimuk.
He hath sated me with bitter things, hath drenched me with wormwood.
16 El ilya mutuk infohk uh, ac kotalik wihsik fin eot uh.
And he hath crushed, with gravel-stones, my teeth, hath made me cower in ashes;
17 Nga tila esam lah mea kalmen misla ku engan uh.
And thou hast thrust away from welfare, my soul, I have forgotten prosperity;
18 Tiana loes pacl lula ke moul luk; wanginla finsrak luk in LEUM GOD.
And I said, Vanished is mine endurance, even mine expectation, from Yahweh.
19 Nunak luk ke waiok luk ac ke wangin acn in muta luk uh, oana sie pwasin na mwen.
Remember my humiliation and my fleeings, the wormwood and poison;
20 Nga tia tui in nunku kac, ac ngunik toasrlana.
Thou wilt, indeed remember, that, bowed down concerning myself, is my soul;
21 Tusruktu finsrak luk sifilpa foloko ke nga esamak ma se inge:
This, will I bring back to my heart, therefore, will I hope.
22 Lungse kawil ac pakoten lun LEUM GOD uh tiana wanginla;
The lovingkindnesses of Yahweh, verily they are not exhausted, Verily! not at an end, are his compassions:
23 Aksasuyeyuk ke lotutang nukewa, ac arulana oaru oana takak lun faht uh ke len nukewa.
New things for the mornings! Abundant is thy faithfulness:
24 LEUM GOD mukena pa oasr yuruk uh; ke ma inge El na pa mwe finsrak luk.
My portion, is Yahweh, saith my soul, For this cause, will I wait for him.
25 LEUM GOD El wo nu sin mwet nukewa su lulalfongi in El.
Good is Yahweh, to them who wait for him, to the soul that will seek him;
26 Ke ma inge, wo tuh kut in mongfisrasr in tupan molela lal —
Good it is—both to wait and to be silent, for the deliverance of Yahweh;
27 Oayapa wo kut in akpahye kut in mongfisrasr ke pacl kut fusr uh.
Good it is for a man, that he should bear the yoke in his youth.
28 In pacl kut keok uh, kut enenu in mukena muta misla ac muteng.
Let him sit alone, and keep silence, because he took it upon himself:
29 Kut enenu in pasrla nwe ten ac eiskutyang nu sel, tuh sahp srakna oasr finsrak.
Let him put, in the dust, his mouth, peradventure, there is hope!
30 Finne puopo ac akkolukyeyuk kut, enenu kut in mislana.
Let him give, to him that smiteth him, his cheek, let him be sated with reproach.
31 Leum El pakoten ac El fah tia siskutlana nwe tok.
Surely My Lord, will not cast off, unto times age-abiding;
32 Sahp El ac akasorye kut, tusruktu lungse lal nu sesr pwayena ac ku na.
Surely, though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion, according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses;
33 El tia insewowo in oru kut in asor ku waiok.
Surely he hath not afflicted from his heart, nor caused sorrow to the sons of men.
34 Leum El etu pacl ngunasr akkeokyeyuk in presin uh;
To crush, under his feet, any of the prisoners of the earth;
35 El etu ke pacl ma mwet uh tia ase suwohs lasr ma El oakiya nu sesr.
To turn aside the right of a man, before the face of the Most High;
36 Ke pacl ma nununku suwohs uh tia orek, El etu.
To oppress a son of earth in his cause, My Lord, hath made no provision.
37 Ma lungse lun Leum mukena pa orek pacl nukewa.
Who was it that spake, and it was done, [when], My Lord, had not commanded?
38 Ma wo ac ma koluk kewana ac orekla fal nu ke sap lal.
Out of the mouth of the Most High, Proceed there not misfortunes and blessing?
39 Efu ku kut in torkaskas ke kalyeiyuk kut ke ma koluk lasr?
Why should a living son of earth complain, [Let] a man [complain] because of his sins?
40 Lela kut in tuni ouiyen orekma lasr ac folokla nu yurin LEUM GOD.
Let us search out our ways, and examine them well, and let us return unto Yahweh;
41 Lela kut in ikasla insiasr nu sin God inkusrao, ac pre ac fahk,
Let us lift up our heart, to the opened palms, to the Mighty One in the heavens;
42 “Kut orekma koluk ac lain kom, O LEUM GOD, ac kom tiana nunak munas nu sesr.
We, have trespassed and rebelled, Thou, hast not pardoned.
43 “Kom ukwe kut ac unikuti; kasrkusrak lom tuh kosrala pakoten lom,
Thou hast covered thyself with anger, and pursued us, hast slain—hast not spared;
44 Ke sie pukunyeng su arulana matoltol, oru pre lasr tia ku in sasla nu yurum.
Thou hast screened thyself with the clouds, that prayer, should not pass through;
45 Kom orekut oana acn in sisi kutkut lun faclu.
Offscouring and refuse, dost thou make us, in the midst of the peoples.
46 “Angonyuk kut ac aksruksrukiyuk kut sin mwet lokoalok lasr nukewa.
With their mouth, opened wide over us, [stand] all our foes.
47 Ma lasr nukewa kunausyukla ac sikiyukla; kut muta in sensen ac sangeng.
Terror and a pit, have befallen us, tumult and grievous injury;
48 Sroninmutuk soror oana soko infacl ke sripen kunausyukla mwet luk.
With streams of water, mine eye runneth down, over the grievous injury of the daughter of my people.
49 “Sroninmutuk ac fah kahkkakla ac tia tui
Mine eye, poureth itself out and ceaseth not, without relief;
50 Nwe ke LEUM GOD El ngeti inkusrao me ac liye kut.
Until Yahweh out of the heavens shall look forth, and see,
51 Insiuk arulana asor ke nga liye ma sikyak nu sin mutan in siti uh.
Mine eye dealeth severely with my soul, because of all the daughters of my city.
52 “Srifusryuki nga oana sie won sin mwet lokoalok, su wanginna sripa lalos in srungayu.
They, have laid snares, for me as a bird, who are mine enemies without cause:
53 Nga moul na ac elos sisyuyang nu in luf se, ac kaliya mutun luf uh ke sie eot lulap.
They have cut off, in the dungeon, my life, and have cast a stone upon me;
54 Kof uh mutawauk in afinyula, ac nga nunku mu misa apkuranme.
Waters, flowed over, my head, I said, I am cut off!
55 “Nga wowoyak nu sum, O LEUM GOD, liki kapin luf sac me,
I have called upon thy Name, O Yahweh, out of the dungeon below;
56 Ac ke nga kwafe sum in lohng tung luk, kom porongeyu.
My voice, thou hast heard, —do not close thine ear to my respite, to mine outcry;
57 Kom topukyu ac fahk nu sik nga in tia sangeng.
Thou drewest near, in the day I kept calling on thee, thou saidst, Do not fear!
58 “O Leum, kom tuku in loangeyu, ac kom molela moul luk.
Thou hast pleaded, O My Lord, the pleas of my soul, hast redeemed my life;
59 Oru nununku lom an in wo nu sik; kom etu ma sufal ma orek lainyu inge.
Thou hast beheld, O Yahweh, my failure to get justice, Pronounce thou my sentence;
60 Kom etu luman srunga lun mwet lokoalok luk nu sik, ac pwapa koluk elos oru in lainyu.
Thou hast seen all their vindictiveness, all their plots against me.
61 “Kom lohng ke elos fahk kas in purakak lainyu, O LEUM GOD; kom etu pwapa koluk nukewa lalos.
Thou hast heard their reproach, O Yahweh, all their plots against me;
62 Elos kaskas keik ac oru akoo koluk lalos len nufon.
The lips of mine assailants, and their mutterings, are against me, all the day;
63 Elos isrunyu ke lotutang lac nwe ke fongeni.
On their downsitting and their uprising, do thou look, I, am their song.
64 “O LEUM GOD, kalyaelos ke ma elos oru inge.
Thou wilt render to them a recompense, O Yahweh, according to the work of their hands;
65 Oru sie selnga na upa nu faclos, ac oru nunkalos in arulana fosrngala.
Thou wilt suffer them a veiling of heart, thy curse to them;
66 Sokolosyak ac sukelosla liki fin faclu.”
Thou wilt pursue in anger, and wilt destroy them, from under the heavens of Yahweh.
