< Job 41 >
1 “Fuka, kom ac ku in sruokilya Leviathan ke soko ka in ahya, Ku kapriya oalul ke soko sucl?
Canst thou draw out leviathan with a fish hook? or press down his tongue with a cord?
2 Kom ac ku in isongang soko sucl nu ke infwacl, Ku srumasrla kapin oalul ke soko ka in ahya?
Canst thou put a rope into his nose? or pierce his jaw through with a hook?
3 Ya el ac ku in kwafe kom in tulalla? Ya el ac ku in fahk kas in aklung nu sum kom in pakomutal?
Will he make many supplications unto thee? or will he speak soft words unto thee?
4 Ya el ku in orek pwapa in insese nu sum Ac wulela mu el ac kulansapwekom nwe tok?
Will he make a covenant with thee, that thou shouldest take him for a servant for ever?
5 Ya kom ac kaprilya oana sie won ma kom nutl Ac pwanul fahsr ye mutun tulik mutan kulansap lom in akpwaryaltal?
Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?
6 Ya mwet patur uh ac tuku pwapa nu sum ke sie moul fal in molella? Ya mwet kuka uh ac sipikilya nu ke ip srisrik ac kukakunul?
Shall the bands [of fishermen] make traffic of him? shall they part him among the merchants?
7 Kom ac ku in nwakla kolo kacl uh ke osra in fakfuk, Ku putala sifal ke soko osra in ngoe?
Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons, or his head with fish spears?
8 Kahlilya pacl se, ac kom fah tia lungse in sifilpa srike; Kom ac tia ku in mulkunla amai se lom el u!
Lay thine hand upon him; remember the battle, and do so no more.
9 “Kutena mwet ma liyel Leviathan uh Ac munasla nunka, ac putatla nu infohk uh.
Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
10 Ke pacl se mokleyukyak el uh, el ac arulana sulallal; Wangin mwet ac ku in tu ye mutal.
None is so fierce that he dare stir him up: who then is he that can stand before me?
11 Su ku in anwuk nu sel ac moul na? Wanginna sie mwet fin faclu ku.
Who hath first given unto me, that I should repay him? [whatsoever is] under the whole heaven is mine.
12 “Kolya ngan srumun nu sum ke nial Leviathan, Ac fahk lupan yokiyal ac kuiyal.
I will not keep silence concerning his limbs, nor his mighty strength, nor his comely proportion.
13 Wangin mwet ku in seya kolo lik ma el nukum uh, Ku putala loeyuk se loac ke manol, su oana nuknuk in loeyuk ma orekla ke osra.
Who can strip off his outer garment? who shall come within his double bridle?
14 Su ku in oru elan mangelik Ke oalul rauniyukla ke wihs na aksangeng uh?
Who can open the doors of his face? round about his teeth is terror.
15 Fintokol orekla ke takin mwe loeyuk Su kapreni nu sie, ac keke oana eot uh.
His strong scales are [his] pride, shut up together [as with] a close seal.
16 Kais sie kupasryang arulana ku nu ke ma oan siska uh, Oru finne kitin eng, tia pac ku in sasla inmasrlo.
One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.
17 Ma inge nukewa arulana fulfuleni nu sie, Oru wangin kutena ma ku in sraclik.
They are joined one to another; they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.
18 El fin sinacla, na kalem uh ac sasma liki infwacl; Atronmutal saromrom oana faht uh ke takak.
His neesings flash forth light, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
19 Firir in e uh sroma liki inwalul, Ac kosran e uh sohkelik.
Out of his mouth go burning torches, and sparks of fire leap forth.
20 Kulasr uh fofosrme ke infwacl Oana kulasr ke e ma tawin sie tup in sup lulap.
Out of his nostrils a smoke goeth, as of a seething pot and [burning] rushes.
21 Mongol ku in tanak e in firiryak; Ac e uh atula ke inwalul.
His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth forth from his mouth.
22 Inkwawal arulana fokoko, Oru mwet nukewa ma sonol uh ac rarrarlana sel.
In his neck abideth strength, and terror danceth before him.
23 Wangin kutena acn ma munas ke kolo kacl uh; Arulana keke oana osra, ac tia ku in kotkot uh.
The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm upon him; they cannot be moved.
24 Nunak likkeke lal oru el tia etu sangeng. El ku oana sie tapweng eot, ma tia ku in fokelik.
His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, firm as the nether millstone.
25 Pacl se el ac tuyak uh, finne mwet ma fokoko oemeet uh elos sangeng pac sel; Ke sripen sangeng lalos, elos tia ku in oru kutena ma.
When he raiseth himself up, the mighty are afraid: by reason of consternation they are beside themselves.
26 Wangin cutlass ku in kantelya; A mwet uh finne orekmakin osra in fakfuk, osra in pisr, ku kutena kain mwe fakfuk saya, tia ku in fakisya manol.
If one lay at him with the sword, it cannot avail; nor the spear, the dart, nor the pointed shaft.
27 Nu sel, osra uh munas oana mah paola, Ac bronze uh fisrasryasr oana sak kulawi uh.
He counteth iron as straw, [and] brass as rotten wood.
28 Wangin osra in pisr ku in oru elan kaing, Ac eot ma sang tanglal uh oana ipin sra uh.
The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble.
29 Nu sel, soko sak in anwuk uh oana pwe es uh, Ac ke mwet uh ac faksel ke osra in fakfuk uh, el ac israsr na.
Clubs are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the rushing of the javelin.
30 Unac in ik ma oan ke sial uh oana ipin ahlu kle ma fokelik ac arulana kosroh; Unac inge ac kunkunausya infohk furarrar uh oana osra in pukpuk uh.
His underparts are [like] sharp potsherds: he spreadeth [as it were] a threshing wain upon the mire.
31 El ac arukak kapin meoa oana kof uh ke ac boel uh, Ac oru in pulollol oana tup in mwe akmusra fol se.
He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like ointment.
32 Inkacl ah orala soko inkanek na saromrom tokol, Ac el furokak meoa uh wiawala.
He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.
33 Wangin kutena ma fin faclu ku in lumweyuk nu kacl; Inmasrlon ma orakrak nukewa, el tia etu sangeng.
Upon earth there is not his like, that is made without fear.
34 El tia oek kosro ma yohk lukel uh; El oana sie tokosra nu sin kain kosro lemnak nukewa.”
He beholdeth every thing that is high: he is king over all the sons of pride.
