< Job 40 >
1 Na LEUM GOD El fahk nu sel Job:
And the LORD said to Job:
2 “Job, kom orek alein nu sin God Kulana. Mea, kom ac tari misla, ku kom akola in topukyu?”
“Will the faultfinder contend with the Almighty? Let him who argues with God give an answer.”
3 Na Job el topuk LEUM GOD ac fahk, Nga tuh fahk kas na lalfon. Mea nga ac sang topuk kom uh?
Then Job answered the LORD:
4 Nga ac tia sifil srike in fahk kutena ma.
“Behold, I am insignificant. How can I reply to You? I place my hand over my mouth.
5 Kas luk ah alukela tari ma fal ngan fahk.”
I have spoken once, but I have no answer— twice, but I have nothing to add.”
6 Na, LEUM GOD El sifilpa kaskas nu sel Job liki eng upa sac me, ac fahk:
Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said:
7 “Tuyak oana sie mukul, Ac topuk mwe siyuk luk inge.
“Now brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall inform Me.
8 Ya kom srike in akkalemye mu nga sesuwos — In tuh sutuu sik, a kom pa pwaye uh?
Would you really annul My justice? Would you condemn Me to justify yourself?
9 Ya kuiyom oana ku luk? Ya pusrem ku in ngirngir in pulahl, oana pusrek?
Do you have an arm like God’s? Can you thunder with a voice like His?
10 Fin pwaye, tuyak yunikomla ke pwengpeng ac fulat; Nuknukyang ke wal ac ke wolana.
Then adorn yourself with majesty and splendor, and clothe yourself with honor and glory.
11 Ngetla liye mwet inse fulat uh; Okoaung kasrkusrak lom nu faclos ac akpusiselyalos.
Unleash the fury of your wrath; look on every proud man and bring him low.
12 Aok, liyalos akwoya, ac kilukunulosi nwe ten; Itungya mwet sulallal uh ingena yen elos tu we an.
Look on every proud man and humble him; trample the wicked where they stand.
13 Puknulosi nufon ye fohk uh; Ac kaprelosi nu in facl sin mwet misa.
Bury them together in the dust; imprison them in the grave.
14 Na ac nga pa oemeet ac kaksakin kom uh, Ac fahkak lah kom kutangla ke ku lom sifacna.
Then I will confess to you that your own right hand can save you.
15 “Nunkuwin ke kosro sulallal Behemoth; Nga pa oralla, ac nga pac pa orekomla. El mongo mah oana cow uh,
Look at Behemoth, which I made along with you. He feeds on grass like an ox.
16 Tusruktu arulana yohk kuiyal, Ac yohk musul ke manol!
See the strength of his loins and the power in the muscles of his belly.
17 Pulal tuyak nu lucng oana soko sak cedar, Ac ku lun nial uh arulana yokla.
His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are tightly knit.
18 Sri kacl uh ku oana osra bronze, Ac nial oana polo iron uh.
His bones are tubes of bronze; his limbs are rods of iron.
19 “El pa nga tuh orala oemeet inmasrlon ma orakrak uh! Wanginna ma ku in kutangulla sayen El su oralla.
He is the foremost of God’s works; only his Maker can draw the sword against him.
20 Mah ma el kang uh kap fineol, Yen kosro lemnak uh srital we.
The hills yield him their produce, while all the beasts of the field play nearby.
21 El ac oan ye sak ma oasr otoh, Ac wikwik ye loa in acn furarrar uh.
He lies under the lotus plants, hidden among the reeds of the marsh.
22 El ac wiklana oan ye lulin sak ma oasr otoh, Ac sak willow ma oan pe infacl uh.
The lotus plants conceal him in their shade; the willows of the brook surround him.
23 El tia sangeng ke asrasr lun infacl uh; Ac el ac oakwuk na ke Infacl Jordan ac fwela mutal.
Though the river rages, Behemoth is unafraid; he remains secure, though the Jordan surges to his mouth.
24 Su ac ku in aklohsryela mutal ac sruokilya? Ku sruokya infwacl ke sruhf uh?
Can anyone capture him as he looks on, or pierce his nose with a snare?
