< Job 36 >

1 Ac Elihu el sifilpa fahk:
And Elihu continued:
2 “Sifilpa mongfisrasr kitin pacl ac lohng Kas ma nga ac aolla God ac fahk.
“Bear with me a little longer, and I will show you that there is more to be said on God’s behalf.
3 Yohk ma nga kalem kac; nga ac orekmakin ma kalem sik uh In akkalemye lah God, su oreyula, El suwosna.
I get my knowledge from afar, and I will ascribe justice to my Maker.
4 Wangin kas kikiap ke ma nga ac fahk nu sum inge; Kom liye sie mwet na lalmwetmet ye motom.
For truly my words are free of falsehood; one perfect in knowledge is with you.
5 “Arulana yohk ku lun God! Wangin sie mwet El srunga; Wangin kutena ma El tia kalem kac.
Indeed, God is mighty, but He despises no one; He is mighty in strength of understanding.
6 El tia lela mwet koluk uh in moul na, Ac El oru ma suwohs nu sin mwet sukasrup in pacl nukewa.
He does not keep the wicked alive, but He grants justice to the afflicted.
7 El loangelos su suwosna moul la; Ac lela tuh elos in leumi oana tokosra, Ac oru in akfulatyeyuk elos nwe tok.
He does not take His eyes off the righteous, but He enthrones them with kings and exalts them forever.
8 Tusruktu mwet uh fin kapiri ke sein, Ac keok ke sripen ma koluk elos orala,
And if men are bound with chains, caught in cords of affliction,
9 God El akkalemye nu selos ma koluk lalos ac inse fulat lalos.
then He tells them their deeds and how arrogantly they have transgressed.
10 El oru elos in lohng kas in sensenkakin lal nu selos Tuh elos in forla liki orekma koluk.
He opens their ears to correction and commands that they turn from iniquity.
11 Elos fin akos God ac kulansupal, Na elos ac insewowokin moul lalos uh in misla ac wo ouiya.
If they obey and serve Him, then they end their days in prosperity and their years in happiness.
12 A elos fin tia akos ac kulansupu God, na elos ac anwuki ke cutlass, Ac misa in nikin lalos.
But if they do not obey, then they perish by the sword and die without knowledge.
13 “Mwet su tia etu God uh elos ac mutana in kasrkusrak lalos, Ac finne akkeokyeyuk elos, elos tia pre in suk kasru.
The godless in heart harbor resentment; even when He binds them, they do not cry for help.
14 Elos ac srakna fusr na elos misa, Eli ke sie moul lusrongten.
They die in their youth, among the male shrine prostitutes.
15 Tusruktu God El luti mwet uh ke mwe keok nu selos, Ac ikasla mutalos ke mwe ongoiya.
God rescues the afflicted by their affliction and opens their ears in oppression.
16 “God El ke folokinkomme liki ongoiya, Nu ke sie acn mwesas, yen wangin ma ikus kom; Ac tepu lom uh sessesla ke mwe mongo yuyu.
Indeed, He drew you from the jaws of distress to a spacious and broad place, to a table full of richness.
17 Tusruktu, inge akkeokyeyuk kom oana ma fal in orek nu sum.
But now you are laden with the judgment due the wicked; judgment and justice have seized you.
18 Taranna kom in tia lela molin eyeinse in kiapwekomla, Ku mwe kasrup in aktafongyekomla.
Be careful that no one lures you with riches; do not let a large bribe lead you astray.
19 Kom finne pang ke kuiyom nufon in suk kasru, ac fah wangin sripa; Ku lom nufon tia ku in akwoye kom inge.
Can your wealth or all your mighty effort keep you from distress?
20 Nimet kom ke in tari fongeni, In sun pacl ma mutunfacl lulap uh ac fah wanginla.
Do not long for the night, when people vanish from their homes.
21 Karinganang kom in tia forla nu ke ma koluk; Mwe keok lom inge ma tuku in tuh sruokkomi liki ma koluk.
Be careful not to turn to iniquity, for this you have preferred to affliction.
22 “Esam lupan yokiyen ku lun God uh; Su sie mwet luti oana El?
Behold, God is exalted in His power. Who is a teacher like Him?
23 Wangin mwet ku in fahk nu sin God ma Elan oru, Ku fahk mu koluk ma El oru uh.
Who has appointed His way for Him, or told Him, ‘You have done wrong’?
24 Nuna kaksakinyuk El pacl nukewa ke ma El oru; Enenu na kom in wi pac kaksakunul.
Remember to magnify His work, which men have praised in song.
25 Mwet nukewa liye tari ma El orala; Tusruktu kut ac tu na oe saya liye.
All mankind has seen it; men behold it from afar.
26 Kut tia ku in etu na pwaye lupan fulat lal uh, Ku oakla pisen yac lal uh.
Indeed, God is great—beyond our knowledge; the number of His years is unsearchable.
27 “God pa orauk kof uh liki faclu, Ac ekulla nu ke tulin af uh.
For He draws up drops of water which distill the rain from the mist,
28 El oru tuh kof uh in kahkla liki pukunyeng uh Ac afi nu fin mwet nukewa.
which the clouds pour out and shower abundantly on mankind.
29 Wangin mwet etu lah pukunyeng uh mukuikui fuka, Ku lah fuka tuh pulahl uh ngirngir In acn engyeng uh yen God El muta we.
Furthermore, who can understand how the clouds spread out, how the thunder roars from His pavilion?
30 El supu sarom nu in acn nukewa yen engyeng uh, Tusruktu acn loal in meoa uh nuna lohsr na.
See how He scatters His lightning around Him and covers the depths of the sea.
31 Pa inge luman kiteyen mwet uh sel, Ac El sang mwe mongo puspis nun mwet uh.
For by these He judges the nations and provides food in abundance.
32 El sang paol sruokya sarom uh, Ac sap tuh in tungalya acn El ac fahk uh.
He fills His hands with lightning and commands it to strike its mark.
33 Pusren pulahl uh sulkakin lah paka se ac tuku, Ac un cow uh etu lah ac pakala.
The thunder declares His presence; even the cattle regard the rising storm.
