< Job 30 >

1 “Tusruktu, mwet ma fusr likiyu elos orek tafunkas keik in pacl inge! Papa tumalos uh nuna mwet na wangin sripa emeet me, Oru nga tia pac lela elos in wi kosro ngalngul uh karingin sheep nutik.
“But now those who are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I considered unworthy to put with my sheep dogs.
2 Un mwet na wanginla ku la, Elos arulana munas ac tia ku in oru kutena orekma luk.
Of what use is the strength of their hands to me, men in whom ripe age has perished?
3 Elos arulana sukasrup ac masrinsral, Oru elos ac kontini okan sak pulamlamla uh — Ke fong, in acn na koluk ac wangin mwet we.
They are gaunt from lack and famine. They gnaw the dry ground, in the gloom of waste and desolation.
4 Elos ac fusak ac kang mah yen mwesis uh Wi pacna okah ma wangin ema ke sak broom uh!
They pluck salt herbs by the bushes. The roots of the broom tree are their food.
5 Mwet nukewa ac wowoyak ac luselosla Oana ke elos woi mwet pusrapasr uh.
They are driven out from among men. They cry after them as after a thief,
6 Elos mutana in luf, Ac in acn ma pukpukla pe eol uh.
so that they live in frightful valleys, and in holes of the earth and of the rocks.
7 In acn mwesis uh elos ac wowo oana kosro lemnak uh, Ac tukeni lokeni muta ye sak inima uh.
They bray among the bushes. They are gathered together under the nettles.
8 Sie un mwet na lusrongten, wangin sripa, ac wangin akilenya pa inge! Ukohkyak elos liki fin acn uh.
They are children of fools, yes, children of wicked men. They were flogged out of the land.
9 “Inge elos foloko isrunyu; Nga pilasrla — oana sie mwe aksruksruk nu selos.
“Now I have become their song. Yes, I am a byword to them.
10 Elos arulana kwaseyu, Ac pangon mu elos wo likiyu. Elos ac tuku pac ani nu in mutuk.
They abhor me, they stand aloof from me, and don’t hesitate to spit in my face.
11 Mweyen God El arulana akmunasyeyula ac nga tia ku in sifacna, Oru elos forma lainyu ke folo lalos nufon.
For he has untied his cord, and afflicted me; and they have thrown off restraint before me.
12 Un mwet se inge arulana suwoswos in oru alein lalos nu sik; Elos ukweyu nga kaing; ac elos akola in kunausyula.
On my right hand rise the rabble. They thrust aside my feet. They cast their ways of destruction up against me.
13 Elos kosrala acn in kaing luk, ac srike in uniyuwi; Ac wangin mwet in kutongolosi.
They mar my path. They promote my destruction without anyone’s help.
14 Elos ac fokolak kalkal ma nga wikwik we, Ac putatme nu fuk ac toanyuwi nu infohk uh.
As through a wide breach they come. They roll themselves in amid the ruin.
15 Sangeng luk nwekyula. Nga tila orek mukul, a nga oana sie fosr in eng, Ac kasrpuk sohkla oana sie pukunyeng.
Terrors have turned on me. They chase my honor as the wind. My welfare has passed away as a cloud.
16 “Inge nga apkuran in misa, Ac wangin ma in akfisrasrye keok luk.
“Now my soul is poured out within me. Days of affliction have taken hold of me.
17 Ke fong uh sri keik uh nufon waiok, Ac ngal lulap su ngalngalisyu tiana tui.
In the night season my bones are pierced in me, and the pains that gnaw me take no rest.
18 God El sruokya kala in nuknuk luk Ac furokya nwe ke na tingilya kwawuk.
My garment is disfigured by great force. It binds me about as the collar of my tunic.
19 El kipakinyuwi nu yen furarrar uh; Ac nga oana fohk furarrar ye mutal.
He has cast me into the mire. I have become like dust and ashes.
20 “Nga pang nu sum, O God, tuh kom tiana topukyu; Ac ke pacl nga pre, kom tia lohma nu sik.
I cry to you, and you do not answer me. I stand up, and you gaze at me.
21 Kom arulana sulallal nu sik, Ac akkeokyeyu ke kuiyom nufon.
You have turned to be cruel to me. With the might of your hand you persecute me.
22 Kom lela eng uh in ukyula; Ac kom sisyuwot sisyume ke eng upa uh.
You lift me up to the wind, and drive me with it. You dissolve me in the storm.
23 Nga etu lah kom ac usyula nu ke misa, Nu ke ouiya su akola nu sin mwet nukewa.
For I know that you will bring me to death, to the house appointed for all living.
24 Efu ku kom uni sie mwet ma arulana musalla tari, Su wangin ma ku in oru sayen ngisre ke pakomuta?
“However doesn’t one stretch out a hand in his fall? Or in his calamity therefore cry for help?
25 Ya nga tuh tia wi tung yurin mwet su sun ongoiya, Ac pakomutalos su enenu?
Didn’t I weep for him who was in trouble? Wasn’t my soul grieved for the needy?
26 Nga tuh finsrak in oasr engan ac kalem yuruk, A ongoiya ac lohsr pa sunyu.
When I looked for good, then evil came. When I waited for light, darkness came.
27 Insiuk arulana kuelik ke fosrnga ac waiok; Nga muta in keok len nu ke len.
My heart is troubled, and doesn’t rest. Days of affliction have come on me.
28 Nga foroht forma in lohsr matoltol, yen wangin kalmen faht we; Nga tuyak in walil uh ac siyuk ke kasru.
I go mourning without the sun. I stand up in the assembly, and cry for help.
29 Pusrek asor ac supwar, Oana pusren tung lun soko kosro fox, ku sie won ostrich.
I am a brother to jackals, and a companion to ostriches.
30 Monuk sroalsroalla; ac nga folla ke fifa.
My skin grows black and peels from me. My bones are burned with heat.
31 Sie pacl ah nga tuh lohng pusren on engan, A inge nga lohng pusren asor ac tung mukena.
Therefore my harp has turned to mourning, and my pipe into the voice of those who weep.
