< Job 29 >

1 Na Job el sifil mutawauk in kaskas:
And Job adds to lift up his allegory and says:
2 “Saok moul luk uh in ku in sifil folokla Oana ke pacl se God El tuh karinginyu ah.
“Who makes me as [in] months past, As [in] the days of God’s preserving me?
3 In pacl sac God El tuh wiyu na pacl nukewa, Ac ase kalem nu sik ke nga fufahsryesr in lohsr uh.
In His causing His lamp to shine on my head, By His light I walk [through] darkness.
4 In len ingo pa nga tuh arulana fokoko, Ac asruoki lun God nu sik arulana karingin inkul sik wo.
As I have been in days of my maturity, And the counsel of God on my tent.
5 God Kulana El tuh arulana wiyu, Ac tulik nutik nukewa elos muta yuruk.
When yet the Mighty One [is] with me. Around me—my young ones,
6 Yohk sronin titi lun cow ac nani nutik, Ac eot in itat olive nu ke oil, yohk oil soror kac.
When washing my goings with butter, And the firm rock [is] with me—streams of oil.
7 Pacl nukewa ma mwet matu in siti uh ac toeni, Ac nga eis acn sik inmasrlolos uh,
When I go out to the gate by the city, In a broad place I prepare my seat.
8 Mwet fusr uh ac sa na sekinyula elos fin liyeyuyak, Ac mukul matu elos tuyak in akkalemye akfulat lalos nu sik.
Youths have seen me, and they have been hidden, And the aged have risen—they stood up.
9 Mwet kol uh ac tui pac tila sramsram;
Princes have kept in words, And they place a hand on their mouth.
10 Finne mwet ma fulat selos uh, ac misla pac.
The voice of leaders has been hidden, And their tongue has cleaved to the palate.
11 “Mwet nukewa su liyeyu meet, ku lohng sramsram keik, Elos ac kaksakinyu, ac srumunna woiyen orekma luk.
For the ear heard, and declares me blessed, And the eye has seen, and testifies [to] me.
12 Ke mwet sukasrup elos tuh ngusr, nga kasrelos; Nga kasru pac tulik mukaimtal ma wangin mwet in kasrelos.
For I deliver the afflicted who is crying, And the fatherless who has no helper.
13 Mwet ma muta in ongoiya elos kaksakinyu, Ac katinmas uh elos arulana engankin kasru nga oru nu selos.
The blessing of the perishing comes on me, And I cause the heart of the widow to sing.
14 Pacl nukewa nga oru na ma suwohs ac pwaye.
I have put on righteousness, and it clothes me, My justice as a robe and a crown.
15 Nga oana atronmuta nu sin mwet kun, Ac oana nia nu sin mwet ma tia ku in fahsr.
I have been eyes to the blind, And I [am] feet to the lame.
16 Nga oana sie papa nu sin mwet sukasrup, Ac nga tuh kasru mwetsac uh in kutena mwe ongoiya nu selos.
I [am] a father to the needy, And the cause I have not known I search out.
17 Nga kunausla ku lun mwet sulallal, Ac molela mwet ma elos akkeokye uh.
And I break the jaw-teeth of the perverse, And from his teeth I cast away prey.
18 “Pacl nukewa nga tuh nunku mu moul luk ac loes na, Ac nga ac misa na in misla yurin tulik nutik, in lohm sik sifacna.
And I say, I expire with my nest, And I multiply days as the sand.
19 Nga tuh oana soko sak ma oasr kof ke okah uh in pacl nukewa, Ac lah kac uh aksroksrokyeyuk pacl nukewa ke aunfong uh.
My root is open to the waters, And dew lodges on my branch.
20 Mwet nukewa tiana tui in kaksakinyu, Ac ku luk aksasuyeyuk pacl e nukewa.
My glory [is] fresh with me, And my bow is renewed in my hand.
21 Pacl nga sang kas in luti uh, mwet uh ac misla Ac lohma in lohng ma nga fahk uh;
They have listened to me, Indeed, they wait, and are silent for my counsel.
22 Na ke safla sramsram luk uh, wanginna ma elos ac ku in sifilpa fahk. Kas luk ac tili nu in elos oana tulin af nu fin fohk pao;
After my word they do not change, And my speech drops on them,
23 Mwet uh ac arulana engan in eis kas luk uh Oana ke mwet ima uh engan ke ac sifil afi.
And they wait for me as [for] rain, And they have opened wide their mouth [As] for the spring rain.
24 Nga israsr srisrik nu selos ke pacl wanginla finsrak lalos; Ac ngetnget kulang luk akkeyalos.
I laugh at them—they give no credence, And do not cause the light of my face to fall.
25 Nga pa kololos, ac wotela ma elos in oru; Nga tuh kololos oana sie tokosra su kol un mwet mweun lal, Ac nga akwoyalos ke pacl elos asor.
I choose their way, and sit [as] head, And I dwell as a king in a troop, When he comforts mourners.”
