< Job 23 >
Then Job answered and said,
2 “Nga srakna torkaskas ac lain God; Nga tia ku in kutongya sasao luk.
Even today is my complaint rebellious: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.
3 Seyal nga ke etu lah nga ac konalak ya, Ac lah nga ac ut ya nu yen El muta we.
Oh that I knew where I might find him, that I might come even to his seat!
4 Nga lukun fahkang na nunak luk nu sel Ac takunang nufon ma nga pulakin mu pwaye sik.
I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.
5 Nga ke etu lah mea El ac fahk, Ac lah El ac topukyu fuka.
I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.
6 Ya God El ac lainyu ke ku lal nufon? Mo, El ac porongo na ke nga ac kaskas uh.
Would he contend with me in the greatness of his power? Nay; but he would give heed unto me.
7 In pacl sac El ac engan in lohng sramsram luk, mweyen nga inse pwayena nu sel; Na El ac fah akkalemye lah El tuleyula, ingela nwe tok.
There the upright might reason with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.
8 “Nga tuh sokol kutulap, tuh El wangin we; Nga tia pacna konalak ke nga sokol roto ah.
Behold, I go forward, but he is not [there]; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:
9 El tuh orekma na epang ac eir, Tuh nga tia pacna liyal we.
On the left hand, when he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him.
10 Ne ouinge a God El etu nufon acn nga forfor we; El fin srikeyu, El ac konauk lah nga nasnasna.
But he knoweth the way that I take; when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
11 Nga oaru na in fahsr ke inkanek ma El sulela nu sik uh, Ac tiana kuhfla liki.
My foot hath held fast to his steps; his way have I kept, and turned not aside.
12 Nga oru na ma El sapkin pacl nukewa; Nga fahsrna ke ma lungse lal ac tia lungse luk sifacna.
I have not gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured up the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
13 “God El tiana ekyek. Wangin mwet ku in kifasulla, Ku tulokinilya liki ma El lungse oru uh.
But he is in one [mind], and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.
14 El ac oralana ma El akou in oru nu sik; Ako se lal inge siena sin ma pus ma El ke oru nu sik uh.
For he performeth that which is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.
15 Nga arulana rarrar ac sangeng ye mutal.
Therefore am I troubled at his presence; when I consider, I am afraid of him.
16 God pa arulana akmunasyela nunak luk uh. El su Kulana El arulana aksangengyeyu.
For God hath made my heart faint, and the Almighty hath troubled me:
17 Finne lohsr uh kosrala mutuk, Nga tiana misla in fahk nunak luk uh.
Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither did he cover the thick darkness from my face.
