Jeremiah 7
1 Kas inge tuku nu sel Jeremiah sin LEUM GOD:
The woordes that came to Ieremiah from the Lord, saying,
2 “Tu ke mutunpot in lohm sin LEUM GOD ac sulkakin kas inge we, fahkang: Lohng kas lun LEUM GOD, kowos mwet Judah nukewa, kowos su ilyak ke mutunpot inge in alu nu sel.
Stand in the gate of the Lordes house and crie this woorde there, and say, Heare the woorde of the Lord, all yee of Iudah that enter in at these gates to worship the Lord.
3 Ouinge LEUM GOD Kulana, God lun Israel, El fahk: Ekulla ouiyen moul lowos ac ma kowos oru, ac nga fah lela kowos in mutana in facl suwos.
Thus sayeth the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, Amend your waies and your woorkes, and I will let you dwell in this place.
4 Nimet lulalfongi kas ma mwet uh kiapwekowos kac, fahk mu, ‘Ac wangin ongoiya nu sesr! Tempul lun LEUM GOD pa inge! Tempul lun LEUM GOD pa inge!’ Tempul lun LEUM GOD pa inge!’
Trust not in lying woordes, saying, The Temple of the Lord, the Temple of the Lord: this is the Temple of the Lord.
5 “Ekulla ouiyen moul lowos ac tui liki ma kowos oru ingan. Oru in fal ac suwohs ma kowos oru nu sin sie sin sie.
For if you amende and redresse your waies and your woorkes: if you execute iudgement betweene a man and his neighbour,

And oppresse not the stranger, the fatherlesse and the widow and shed no innocent blood in this place, neither walke after other gods to your destruction,
7 Kowos fin ekla, nga ac lela kowos in mutana in facl se inge su nga sang nu sin papa matu tomowos tuh in ma selos nwe tok.
Then will I let you dwell in this place in the lande that I gaue vnto your fathers, for euer and euer.
8 “Liye, kowos filiya lulalfongi lowos in kas kikiap ma wangin sripa.
Beholde, you trust in lying woordes, that can not profite.
9 Kowos pisrapasr, akmas, kunaus wuleang in marut, oru fulahk kikiap, orek kisa nu sin Baal, ac alu nu sin god ma kowos tia etu meet.
Will you steale, murder, and commit adulterie, and sweare falsely and burne incense vnto Baal, and walke after other gods whome yee knowe not?
10 Kowos oru ma nga srunga inge, tari kowos tuku tu ye mutuk in Tempul sik sifacna, ac fahk, ‘Ac wangin ongoiya nu sesr!’
And come and stande before mee in this House, whereupon my Name is called, and saye, We are deliuered, though we haue done all these abominations?
11 Ya kowos nunku mu Tempul sik sie acn in wikwik lun mwet pisrapasr? Nga liyena ma kowos oru an.
Is this House become a denne of theeues, whereupon my Name is called before your eyes? Beholde, euen I see it, sayeth the Lord.
12 Kowos som nu Shiloh, acn se oemeet nga sulela tuh mwet in alu nu sik we, ac liye ma nga oru we ke sripen ma koluk lun Israel, mwet luk.
But go ye nowe vnto my place which was in Shilo, where I set my Name at the beginning, and beholde, what I did to it for the wickednesse of my people Israel.
13 Kowos oru ma koluk inge nukewa, ac nga finne kalwenina in kaskas na kaskas, kowos tia lungse lohng. Pacl nga pangon kowos, kowos tiana topuk.
Therefore nowe because yee haue done all these woorkes, sayeth the Lord, (and I rose vp earely and spake vnto you: but when I spake, yee would not heare me, neither when I called, would yee answere).
14 Ke ma inge, ma nga tuh oru in acn Shiloh nga fah oru pac nu ke Tempul sik inge, su yohk lulalfongi lowos kac. In acn se inge su nga tuh sang nu sin mwet matu lowos ac oayapa nu suwos, nga ac fah oru oapana ma nga tuh oru in acn Shiloh.
Therefore will I do vnto this House, wherupon my Name is called, wherein also yee trust, euen vnto the place that I gaue to you and to your fathers, as I haue done vnto Shilo.
15 Nga fah liskowosla liki ye mutuk, oana ke nga lusla Israel, sou lowos. Nga, LEUM GOD, pa fahk ma inge.”
And I will cast you out of my sight, as I haue cast out all your brethren, euen the whole seede of Ephraim.
16 LEUM GOD El fahk, “Jeremiah, nimet kom pre ke mwet inge. Nimet tung ku pre nu sik kaclos; nimet kwafe nu sik in kasrelos, mweyen nga ac tia porongekom.
Therfore thou shalt not pray for this people, neither lift vp crie or praier for them neither intreat me, for I will not heare thee.
17 Ya kom tia liye ma elos oru in siti lun Judah ac inkanek lun Jerusalem?
Seest thou not what they doe in the cities of Iudah and in the streetes of Ierusalem?
18 Tulik uh ti etong, ac papa uh ta e, ac mutan uh aryar flao in orek bread nu sin god mutan se su elos pangon Kasra lun Kusrao. Elos oayapa okwok wain in mwe sang lalos nu sin god saya in aktoasryeyu.
The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knede the dough to make cakes to the Queene of heauen and to powre out drinke offrings vnto other gods, that they may prouoke me vnto anger.
19 Tusruktu, ya nga pa elos aktoasrye uh? Mo, elos aktoasryalos sifacna, ac sifacna akmwekinyalos.
Doe they prouoke me to anger, sayeth the Lord, and not themselues to the confusion of their owne faces?
20 Ke ma inge nga, LEUM GOD Fulatlana, fah okoala kasrkusrak lulap luk nu fin Tempul se inge. Nga fah ukuiya nu fin mwet ac kosro oana sie, oayapa nu fin ma yukwiyuki ac sak inimae. Kasrkusrak luk ac fah oana sie e ma wangin mwet ku in konela.
Therefore thus sayeth the Lord God, Beholde, mine anger and my wrath shall be powred vpon this place, vpon man and vpon beast, and vpon the tree of the fielde, and vpon the fruite of the grounde, and it shall burne and not bee quenched.
21 “Mwet luk, kutu kisa lowos uh kowos furreak fin loang uh, ac kutu filfilla in mwe mongo. Tusruktu nga, LEUM GOD Kulana, God lun Israel, fahk mu mansis kowos in kangla kewa.
Thus sayth the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, Put your burnt offerings vnto your sacrifices, and eat the flesh.
22 Ke nga tuh usla mwet matu lowos liki facl Egypt, wangin ma sap nga sang nu selos ke mwe kisa firir, ku ke kutepacna kain in mwe kisa.
For I spake not vnto your fathers, nor commanded them, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offrings and sacrifices.
23 Ma nga sapkin nu selos pa elos in akosyu, tuh nga fah God lalos ac elos fah mwet luk. Ac nga fahkang nu selos in moul fal nu ke ma sap luk, tuh ma nukewa fah wo nu selos.
But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voyce, and I will be your God, and yee shalbe my people: and walke yee in all the wayes which I haue commanded you, that it may be well vnto you.
24 Tusruktu elos tiana akos ku porongeyu. Elos likkekena ac oru oana lungse koluk lalos sifacna — pwanang elos tia wola a elos kolukla liki meet.
But they would not obey, nor incline their eare, but went after the counsels and the stubbernesse of their wicked heart, and went backewarde and not forwarde.
25 Mutawauk ke len se mwet matu lowos illa liki facl Egypt nwe misenge, nga nuna supuna nu yuruwos mwet kulansap luk, mwet palu.
Since the day that your fathers came vp out of the lande of Egypt, vnto this day, I haue euen sent vnto you al my seruants the Prophets, rising vp earely euery day, and sending them.
26 Ne ouinge, tia sie porongalos ku lohang nu ke kas lalos. A kowos likkekelana ac orekma koluk yohk liki mwet matu lowos.
Yet would they not heare me nor encline their eare, but hardened their necke and did worse then their fathers.
27 “Ke ma inge, Jeremiah, kom ac fahk kas inge nukewa nu sin mwet luk, a elos ac tiana porongekom. Kom ac pang nu selos, a elos ac tia topuk.
Therefore shalt thou speake al these words vnto them, but they will not heare thee: thou shalt also crie vnto them, but they will not answere thee.
28 Kom fah fahk nu selos lah mutunfacl selos uh tiana akosyu, LEUM GOD lalos. Kaiyuk elos, a elos tiana ekla. Wanginla inse pwaye, ac tia pacna sramsramkinyuk.
But thou shalt say vnto them, This is a nation that heareth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiueth discipline: trueth is perished, and is cleane gone out of their mouth.
29 “Mwet Jerusalem, kowos in tung; Kowos in kalla aunsifowos ac sisla. Onkakin soko on in pukmas fin mangon eol uh, Mweyen nga, LEUM GOD, nga kasrkusrak, Ac nga sisla mwet luk.
Cut off thine heare, O Ierusalem, and cast it away, and take vp a complaint on the hie places: for the Lord hath reiected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
30 “Mwet Judah elos orala sie ma na koluk. Elos likiya ma sruloala lalos, ma nga srunga, in Tempul sik, pwanang Tempul uh taekla.
For the children of Iudah haue done euill in my sight, sayth the Lord: they haue set their abominations in the House, whereupon my Name is called, to pollute it.
31 Ke Infahlfal Hinnom elos etoak sie loang su pangpang Topheth, tuh elos in ku in kisakin tulik mukul ac tulik mutan natulos fin e. Nga tia sapkin elos in oru ma inge — nga tia pacna nunkauk lumah ouinge.
And they haue built the hie place of Topheth, which is in the valley of Ben-Hinnom to burne their sonnes and their daughters in the fire, which I commanded them not, neither came it in mine heart.
32 Ke ma inge, oasr pacl se ac fah tuku, ke ac fah tia sifilpa pangpang acn se inge Topheth ku Infahlfal Hinnom, a ac fah pangpang Infahlfal in Uniya. Elos fah pikinya mwet misa we nwe ke na lisr acn in pukmas.
Therefore beholde, the dayes come, sayeth the Lord, that it shall no more be called Topheth, nor the valley of Ben-Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall burie in Topheth til there be no place.
33 Monin mwet misa uh ac fah mwe mongo nun won ac kosro lemnak, mweyen ac wangin mwet in luselosla.
And ye carkeises of this people shalbe meat for the foules of the heauen and for the beastes of the earth, and none shall fraie them away.
34 Facl sac ac fah ekla nu ke sie acn mwesis. In siti lun Judah ac inkanek Jerusalem nga fah aksafyela pusren engan ac insewowo, ac oayapa ac fah wanginla engneyen marut uh.
Then I will cause to cease from the cities of Iudah and from the streetes of Ierusalem the voice of mirth and the voice of gladnesse, the voice of the bridegrom and the voice of the bride: for the lande shalbe desolate.
