Jeremiah 19

Thus said the Lord, Go and buy a bottle from a maker of earthenware, and [take] some of the elders of the people, and of the elders of the priests;

2 ac in fahsr sasla Mutunpot lun Sufa Fokelik, ac illa nu Infalfal Hinnom. Na ingo nga in fahkak kas ma El ac fah fahk nu sik.

And go forth unto the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is by the entry of the gate Charsith, and proclaim there the words that I will speak unto thee.

3 LEUM GOD El fahk nu sik in fahk ouinge, “Tokosra lun Judah ac mwet Jerusalem, porongo ma nga, LEUM GOD Kulana, God lun Israel, ac fahk. Nga fah use mwe ongoiya lulap nu fin acn se inge, tuh elos nukewa su lohng kac fah fwefela.

And say, Hear ye the word of the Lord, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem, Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Behold, I will bring evil over this place, so that the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.

4 Nga ac fah oru ouinge mweyen mwet uh sisyula, ac akfohkfokye acn se inge ke elos orek kisa lalos nu ke god saya — god su elos, ac mwet matu lalos somla ac tokosra lun Judah, tia etu kutena ma kac. Elos nwakla acn se inge ke srahn mwet wangin mwata,

For the reason that they have forsaken me, and have defiled this place, and have burnt incense in it unto other gods, which they had not known, either they or their fathers, or the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;

5 ac elos etoak loang in esukak tulik natulos fac, tuh in mwe kisa firir lalos nu sel Baal. Nga tiana sapkin elos in oru ma inge, ac wangin pacna in nunak luk uh.

And they have built the high-places of Ba'al, to burn their sons with fire as burnt-offerings unto Ba'al, which I had not commanded, nor spoken, and which had not come into my mind:

6 Ke ma inge, oasr pacl se ac fah tuku, ke ac fah tia sifilpa pangpang acn se inge Topheth ku Infahlfal Hinnom, a ac fah pangpang Infahlfal in Uniya.

Therefore, behold, days are coming, saith the Lord, that this place shall no more be called The Thopheth, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but, The valley of slaughter.

7 In acn se inge nga fah kunausla pwapa nukewa lun mwet Judah ac Jerusalem. Nga ac fuhlela mwet lokoalok lalos in kutangulosla ac onelosi ke mweun. Nga ac sang mano misa lalos nu sin won ac kosro lemnak tuh in mwe mongo nalos.

And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hand of those that seek their life: and I will give their carcasses as food unto the fowls of the heaven, and unto the beasts of the earth.

8 Nga fah arulana sukela siti se inge, na elos nukewa su fahsryak we fah lut ac oela.

And I will render this city desolate, and an [object of] derision: every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all its plagues.

9 Mwet lokoalok ac kuhlusya siti uh ac srike in onela mwet we. Ke elos kuhlasak, wanginla mwe mongo nun mwet in siti uh, pwanang elos kang ikwen mwet tulan lalos, oayapa tulik natulos sifacna.”

And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his associate, in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and those that seek their life, shall distress them.

10 Na LEUM GOD El fahk nu sik in fukulya sufa sac ye mutun mukul ma wiyu som,

Then shalt thou break the bottle before the eyes of the men that are going with thee.

11 ac in fahk nu selos lah LEUM GOD Kulana El fahk, “Nga ac fukulya mwet inge ac siti se inge, tuh in oana sufa kle soko inge ma tia ku in sifilpa akonkoneni nu sie. Mwet uh ac fah pikinya mwet misa lalos, finne in acn Topheth, mweyen wangin pac acn saya in puknelosi we.

And thou shalt say unto them, Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, In this manner will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be restored again; and in Thopheth shall they bury, for want of room to bury.

12 Nga wulela mu nga ac oru siti se inge ac mwet we uh in oana acn Topheth.

Thus will I do unto this place, saith the Lord, and to its inhabitants, and to make this city as Thopheth:

13 Lohm Jerusalem, lohm sin tokosra lun Judah, oayapa lohm nukewa ma mwet we uh furreak mwe keng fin lohm selos nu ke itu uh, ac okoala wain in mwe kisa nu ke god saya uh — lohm inge nukewa ac fah fohkfokla oana acn Topheth.”

And the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, which are unclean, shall become as the place of the Thopheth, with all the houses upon the roofs of which they have burnt incense to all the host of heaven, and have poured out drink-offerings to other gods.

14 Na nga som liki acn Topheth, yen LEUM GOD El supweyu in fahkak kas lal we. Nga som ac tu inkul lun Tempul ac fahkak nu sin mwet nukewa

Then came Jeremiah from the Thopheth, whither the Lord had sent him to prophesy; and he placed himself in the court of the house of the Lord; and said to all the people,

15 lah LEUM GOD Kulana, God lun Israel, El fahk, “Nga ac fah use nu fin siti se inge ac nu fin acn nukewa raunela, mwe kai nukewa ma nga tuh fahk mu nga ac oru, mweyen kowos likkeke ac tia porongo ma nga fahk.”

Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all its towns all the evil that I have spoken against it; because they have hardened their neck, so as not to hear my words.
