< Isaiah 64 >

1 Saok kom in seya inkusrao ac oatume! Eol uh lukun liye kom ac rarrar ke sangeng sum.
O that thou wouldst rend the heavens, and come down; That the mountains might tremble at thy presence,
2 Oana ke e uh esukak etong ac oru kof uh in poel, ouinge tuku lom fah oru Inem in eteyuk sin mwet lokoalok lom, ac oru mutanfahl uh in rarrar ye motom!
As fire kindleth the dry stubble, As fire causeth water to boil, To make known thy name to thine adversaries, That the nations might tremble at thy presence;
3 Oasr pacl se meet kom tuh tuku ac oru mwe aksangeng lulap ma kut tiana nunku mu ac sikyak. Eol uh liye kom ac kusrusryak ke sangeng.
As thou once didst wonderful things, which we looked not for, And camest down, so that the mountains trembled at thy presence.
4 Wangin mwet nu liye ku lohng ke sie God oana kom, su orek mwenmen ouinge nu selos su filiya finsrak lalos in El.
For never have men heard, nor perceived by the ear, Nor hath eye seen, a God beside thee. Who doeth such things for those that trust in him.
5 Kom insewowo in osun nu selos su engan in oru ma suwohs, elos su esam ouiyen moul ma kom lungse elos in moulkin. Kom tuh kasrkusrak sesr, a kut oru na ma koluk. Kom ne arulana toasr sesr, a kut srakna oru ma sutuu oemeet me.
Thou art the friend of those who joyfully do righteousness, Those who remember thee in thy ways. Behold, thou art angry, and we are punished; Long doth the punishment endure, before we are delivered.
6 Kut nukewa oru ma koluk; finne orekma wo ma kut oru, a fohkfok oana nuknuk fohkfok uh. Ke sripen ma koluk lasr, kut oana sra ma masla ac ukukla ke eng uh.
We are all of us an unclean thing; Like a filthy garment is all our righteousness; We are all withered like a leaf, And our sins, like a storm, have blown us away.
7 Wangin sie foroht nu sum in pre. Wangin sie som nu yurum in suk kasru. Kom wikinkomla sifacna liki kut, ac som liki kut ke sripen ma koluk lasr.
There is none that calleth upon thy name, That stirreth himself up to cleave to thee; For thou hidest thy face from us, And lettest us perish by our iniquities.
8 Tusruktu, LEUM GOD, kom papa tumasr. Kut oana fohk kle, ac kom oana mwet orek ahlu kle. Kom orekutla,
But now, O Jehovah, thou art our father; We are the clay, and thou hast formed us; We are all of us the work of thy hands.
9 ke ma inge, nimet arulana kasrkusrak sesr, ku esam na ma koluk lasr nwe tok. Kut mwet lom. Pakoten nu sesr.
Be not wroth, O Jehovah, to the uttermost, Nor remember our iniquity forever! Behold, look upon us, we beseech thee, we are all thy people!
10 Siti mutal nukewa sum ekla oana acn mwesis. Acn Jerusalem sikiyukla ac wanginla mwet we.
Thy holy cities have become a wilderness; Zion is become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
11 Tempul lasr uh firriyukyak — acn mutal ac kato se ma mwet matu lasr meet ah tuh kaksakin kom we. Acn nukewa ma kut lungse meet ah musalsalu.
Our holy and glorious house, Where our fathers praised thee, Is burned with fire, And all our precious things are laid waste.
12 LEUM GOD, ya ma inge tiana wakrekom? Ya wanginna ma kom ac oru, ac kom ac akkeokye kut yohk liki ma kut ku in mutangla?
Wilt thou contain thyself at these things, O Jehovah, Wilt thou keep silence, and still grievously afflict us?
