< Isaiah 63 >

1 “Su tuku inge liki siti lun Bozrah in acn Edom? Su nukum nuknuk tuhnla ke srah inge, ac fahsr lal uh akkalemye lah oasr ku ac fulat lal?” LEUM GOD pa inge, su kulana in molela, ac El tuku in sulkakin kutangla lal.
Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? Who is this who is glorious in his clothing, marching in the greatness of his strength? “It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
2 “Efu ku nuknuk lal uh arulana srusra, oana sie mwet su futfut grape in orek wain?”
Why is your clothing red, and your garments like him who treads in the wine vat?
3 LEUM GOD El topuk, “Nga futungya mutunfacl puspis oana grape uh, ac wangin mwet tuku kasreyu. Nga fotngolos in kasrkusrak luk, ac srah kaclos tuhnala acn nukewa ke nuknuk luk uh.
“I have trodden the wine press alone. Of the peoples, no one was with me. Yes, I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath. Their lifeblood is sprinkled on my garments, and I have stained all my clothing.
4 Nga sulela mu pa inge pacl fal in molela mwet luk; pacl fal pac in kalyei mwet lokoalok lalos.
For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come.
5 Nga lut ke nga ngetla ac liye lah wangin mwet tuku in kasreyu. Tusruktu kasrkusrak luk oru nga fokokoi, na nga eis kutangla ke ku luk sifacna.
I looked, and there was no one to help; and I wondered that there was no one to uphold. Therefore my own arm brought salvation to me. My own wrath upheld me.
6 In kasrkusrak luk, nga futungya mutunfacl puspis ac kunauselosla. Nga okoala srah kaclos nu fin fohk uh.”
I trod down the peoples in my anger and made them drunk in my wrath. I poured their lifeblood out on the earth.”
7 Nga fah fahkak ke lungse kawil lun LEUM GOD. Nga kaksakunul ke ma nukewa El oru nu sesr. El arulana akinsewowoye mwet Israel Ke sripen pakoten ac lungse pwaye lal.
I will tell of the loving kindnesses of the LORD and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has given to us, and the great goodness towards the house of Israel, which he has given to them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
8 LEUM GOD El fahk, “Elos mwet luk; elos ac tia kiapweyu.” Ouinge El molelosla
For he said, “Surely, they are my people, children who will not deal falsely;” so he became their Saviour.
9 liki mwe keok lalos nukewa. Tia lipufan se, a LEUM GOD sifacna pa molelosla ke lungse ac pakoten lal. In pacl nukewa somla El nuna karinganulos,
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
10 a elos tuh utuk nunak lainul ac aktoasrye ngun mutal lal. Ke ma inge LEUM GOD El ekla ac mwet lokoalok lalos, ac mweun lainulos.
But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. Therefore he turned and became their enemy, and he himself fought against them.
11 Na elos esamak pacl meet ah, ke pacl lal Moses, mwet kulansap lun LEUM GOD, ac elos siyuk, “El aya LEUM GOD su molela mwet kol lun mwet uh liki meoa uh? El aya LEUM GOD su sang ngun lal nu sel Moses,
Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying, “Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put his Holy Spirit amongst them?”
12 su sang po ku lal nu ke lac po layot lal Moses, in sraclik kof uh ye mutalos, in pwanang Inel in pwengpeng ma pahtpat?
Who caused his glorious arm to be at Moses’ right hand? Who divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name?
13 Su kololos sasla yen loal?” Elos tuh oana horse in acn mwesis ma fahsr ac tia tukukul.
Who led them through the depths, like a horse in the wilderness, so that they didn’t stumble?
14 Oana un cow ma pwenyukla nu in sie infahlfal kasrup fohk we, ouinge LEUM GOD El sang mongla nu sin mwet lal. El kolla mwet lal, ac oru Inel in pwengpeng ac sunakinyuk.
As the livestock that go down into the valley, the LORD’s Spirit caused them to rest. So you led your people to make yourself a glorious name.
15 LEUM GOD, ngeti nu facsr inkusrao me, yen kom muta we in acn mutal ac wolana sum. Pia nunak yohk lom kacsr uh? Pia ku lulap lom? Pia lungse ac pakoten lom? Nimet likinsai kut.
Look down from heaven, and see from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory. Where are your zeal and your mighty acts? The yearning of your heart and your compassion is restrained towards me.
16 Kom papa tumasr. Papa matu tumasr, Abraham ac Jacob, finne tia akilen kut, tusruktu kom, LEUM GOD, pa papa tumasr, su moli kut pacl nukewa.
For you are our Father, though Abraham doesn’t know us, and Israel does not acknowledge us. You, LORD, are our Father. Our Redeemer from everlasting is your name.
17 Efu ku kom lela kut in kuhfla liki inkanek lom? Efu ku kom akupaye nunak lasr pwanang kut forla liki kom? Foloko ke sripalos su kulansupwekom, ac ke sripen mwet su nuna ma lom emeet me.
O LORD, why do you make us wander from your ways, and harden our heart from your fear? Return for your servants’ sake, the tribes of your inheritance.
18 Kut, mwet mutal lom, tuh lisyukla sin mwet lokoalok lasr ke kitin pacl. Elos kunausya acn mutal sum.
Your holy people possessed it but a little while. Our adversaries have trodden down your sanctuary.
19 Kom oru nu sesr oana kom in soenna leumi kut, ac oana kut in soenna mwet lom.
We have become like those over whom you never ruled, like those who were not called by your name.
