Isaiah 41

Hold a feast to me, you islands: for the princes shall renew [their] strength: let them draw near and speak together: then let them declare judgement.
2 “Su tuh use mwet leum se inge liki acn kutulap, Ac oru elan kutangla yen nukewa el fahsr we? Su sang nu sel kutangla fin tokosra uh ac mutunfacl uh? Cutlass natul pakelosi oana in kutkut pa elos. Mwe pisr natul ukwaloselik oana sruen mah in pacl eng uh tuhme.
Who raised up righteousness from the east, [and] called it to his feet, so that it should go? shall appoint [it] an adversary of Gentiles, and shall dismay kings, and bury their swords in the earth, and cast forth their bows and arrows as sticks?
3 El ukwalos ac fahsrna nu meet tia sensen — Arulana mui, oru oana elan tiana pusral infohk uh!
And he shall pursue them; the way of his feet shall proceed in peace.
4 Su oru ma inge in sikyak uh? Su wotela ma in sikyak ke fwil nu ke fwil? Nga, LEUM GOD, nuna oasr oe ke mutawauk me, Ac nga, LEUM GOD, fah oasr pac ke saflaiya.
Who has wrought and done these things? he has called it who called it from the generations of old; I God, the first and to [all] futurity, I AM.
5 “Mwet yen loessula elos liye tari ma nga orala; Elos tuninfongla ac rarrar ke sangeng. Ouinge elos nukewa tukeni tuku.
The nations saw, and feared; the ends of the earth drew near, and came together,
6 Mwet pisrla in orekma elos akasrui ac akkeye sie sin sie.
every one judging for his neighbour and [that] to assist his brother: and one will say,
7 Mwet kamtu el fahk nu sin mwet orekma ke gold, ‘Wona orekma lom an!’ Mwet se su akfwelye ma sruloala se El akkeye el su folsani nu sie. Elos fahk, ‘Wona fulusyen osra ingan!’ — Na elos patkeni ma sruloala sac nu yen se.
The artificer has become strong, and the coppersmith that smites with the hammer, [and] forges also: sometimes he will say, It is a piece well joined: they have fastened them with nails; they will fix them, and they shall not be moved.
8 “Tusruktu kowos, mwet Israel, su mwet kulansap luk, Fwilin tulik natul Abraham, mwet kawuk luk, Kowos pa nga sulela uh.
But you, Israel, are my servant Jacob, and he whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraam, whom I have loved:
9 Nga uskowosme liki acn loeslana faclu; Nga pangonkowosme liki eng akosr lun faclu, Ac fahk nu suwos, ‘Kowos mwet kulansap luk.’ Nga tiana siskowosla, a nga sulekowosla.
whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and from the high places of it I have called you, and said to you, You are my servant; I have chosen you, and I have not forsaken you.
10 Nimet sangeng — nga wi kowos! Nga God lowos — nimet lela kutena ma in aksangengye kowos. Nga fah kasrekowos ac oru kowos in ku; Nga fah loangekowos ac moli kowos.
Fear not; for I am with you: wander not; for I am your God, who have strengthened you; and I have helped you, and have established you with my just right hand.
11 “Elos su kasrkusrak suwos ac fah Kutangyukla ac mwekinla. Elos su mweun lain kowos fah misa,
Behold, all your adversaries shall be ashamed and confounded; for they shall be as if they were not: and all your opponents shall perish.
12 Ac elos fah wanginla liki faclu.
You shall seek them, and you shall not find the men who shall insolently rage against you: for they shall be as if they were not, and they that war against you shall not be.
13 Nga LEUM GOD lowos; Nga akkeye kowos ac fahk nu suwos, ‘Nik kowos sangeng; nga fah kasrekowos.’”
For I am your God, who holds your right hand, who says to you,
14 LEUM GOD El fahk, “Israel, kom finne srik ac munas, Nik kom sangeng; nga fah kasrekom. Nga, God mutal lun Israel, nga pa ac molikomla.
Fear not, Jacob, [and you] Israel few in number; I have helped you, says your God, he that redeems you, O Israel.
15 Nga fah oru kom in oana sie ipinsak in kulkul wheat Ma oasr wihs sasu ac kosroh kac. Kom fah koe eol uh ac kunausla; Inging uh ac fah mokutkuti.
Behold, I have made you as new saw-shaped threshing wheels of a waggon; and you shall thresh the mountains, and beat the hills to powder, and make [them] as chaff:
16 Kom fah sisak kutkut uh nu yen engyeng uh Ac eng uh ac okla, Na paka ac fah sisalik. Na kom fah engan mweyen nga God lom; Kom fah kaksakinyu, God mutal lun Israel.
and you shall winnow [them], and the wind shall carry them away, and a tempest shall scatter them: but you shall rejoice in the holy ones of Israel.
17 “Ke pacl mwet luk oasr enenu lalos ke kof Ac kapinsrulyalos paola ke malu, Na nga, LEUM GOD, fah topuk pre lalos. Nga, God lun Israel, fah tiana som lukelos.
And the poor and the needy shall exult; for [when] they shall seek water, and there shall be none, [and] their tongue is parched with thirst, I the Lord God, I the God of Israel will hear, and will not forsake them:
18 Nga fah oru infacl uh in soror inmasrlon inging turangang, Ac unon in kof in kahkkak infahlfal uh. Nga fah ekulla yen mwesis nu ke lulu in kof Ac acn pulamlam nu ke unon in kof.
but I will open rivers on the mountains, and fountains in the midst of plains: I will make the desert pools of water, and a thirsty land watercourses.
19 Nga fah oru sak cedar in kapak yen mwesis Wi pac sak acacia, myrtle, ac olive. Insak lulap ac fah kapak in acn turangang, Ac sak pine, juniper, ac cypress puspis ac fah kap we.
I will plant in the dry land the cedar and box, the myrtle and cypress, and white poplar:
20 Mwet uh ac fah liye ma inge ac etu lah Nga, LEUM GOD, pa oru. Elos ac kalem kac lah God mutal lun Israel pa oru ma inge nukewa.”
that they may see, and know, and perceive, and understand together, that the hand of the Lord has wrought these [works], and the Holy One of Israel has displayed [them].
21 Pa inge ma LEUM GOD, tokosra lun Israel, El fahk: “Kowos god lun mutunfacl uh, fahsru fahkak mwe tukak lowos, Ac use mwe akpwaye nukewa ma oasr yuruwos!
Your judgement draws near, says the Lord God; your counsels have drawn near, says the King of Jacob.
22 Fahsru ac palye lah mea ac sikyak Kut in mau etu ke ac sikyak uh. Fahkak ye mutun mwet nununku ma sikyak in pacl somla Na fahk nu sesr lah mea kalmac.
Let them draw near, and declare to you what things shall come to pass; or tell [us] what things were of old, and we will apply [our] understanding, and we shall know what are the last and the future things:
23 Fahk nu sesr ma ac sikyak in pacl fahsru, Na kut fah etu lah pwaye kowos god! Oru kutu ma wo an, ku use kutu mwe lokoalok an Ma kut ac lut ku sangengla kac!
tell us, declare you to us the things that are coming on at the last [time], and we shall know that you are gods: do good, and do evil, and we shall wonder, and see at the same time
24 Kowos arulana wangin sripa, ac wangin ma kowos ku in oru! Mwet nukewa su alu nu suwos elos mwe srungayuk!
whence you are, and whence is your works: they have chosen you an abomination out of the earth.
25 “Nga sulela mukul se su muta in acn kutulap! Nga fah usalu elan mweun epang me. El ac futungya mwet leum uh oana fohk furarrar uh, In oana ke sie mwet orek ahlu fohk el futung fohk kle.
But I have raised up him that [comes] from the north, and him that [comes] from the rising of the sun: they shall be called by my name: let the princes come, and as potter's clay, and as a potter treading clay, so shall you be trodden down.
26 Su suwos palyeak lah ma inge ac sikyak, Tuh kut fah ku in fahk lah pwaye sum? Tiana sie suwos fahkla sie kas kac — Wangin mwet lohng kowos fahkla kutena ma!
For who will declare the things from the beginning, that we may know also the former things, and we will say that they are true? there is no one that speaks beforehand, nor anyone that hears your words.
27 Nga, LEUM GOD, pa fahk emeet pweng se inge nu sin Zion. Nga supwala sie mwet utuk kas nu Jerusalem in fahk, ‘Mwet lom elos tuku! Elos foloko nu yen selos!’
I will give dominion to Sion, and will comfort Jerusalem by the way.
28 Ke nga suk inmasrlon god uh, Tia sie selos oasr ma se in fahk; Wangin sie selos ku in topuk ma nga siyuk.
For from amongst the nations, behold, [there was] no one; and of their idols there was none to declare [anything]: and if I should ask them, Whence are you? they could not answer me.
29 Wangin sripen god inge nukewa; Wangin na pwaye ma elos ku in orala. Ma sruloala inge munas ac wangin ku lalos.”
For [these] are your makers, [as you think], and they that cause you to err in vain.
