Isaiah 22
1 Kas in fahkak inge ma ke Infahlfal in Aruruma. Mea sikyak inge? Efu ku mwet nukewa in siti uh fanyak nu fin lohm selos uh?
The burden of the valley of vision. What aileth thee now, that thou art wholly gone up to the housetops?
2 Siti nufon se inge ngisyak, oayapa wohnak ke pusren engan. Mwet misa lowos elos tia anwuki ke elos mweun.
Thou that art full of stirs, a tumultuous city, a joyous city: thy slain men are not slain with the sword, nor dead in battle.
3 Mwet kol lowos nukewa kaing ac sruhu elos meet liki elos pisrik mwe pisr natulos.
All thy rulers are fled together, they are bound by the archers: all that are found in thee are bound together, which have fled from far.
4 Filiyula nga in mukena muta eoksra ke mwet luk nukewa su misa. Nimet srike in akwoyeyu.
Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people.
5 Sie pacl in lofongla, musalsalu, ac fohsak lun Infahlfal in Aruruma pa inge, ac LEUM GOD Fulat ac Kulana El supwama ma inge nu facsr. Pot ke siti sesr fokfoki nu infohk uh, ac pusren mwet su tung in suk kasru lohngyuk oe inmasrlon eol uh me.
For it is a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Sovereign YHWH of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to the mountains.
6 Mwet mweun lun facl Elam elos utuk mwe pisr ac kasrusr tuku fin horse. Mwet mweun lun acn Kir elos akoela tari mwe loang lalos.
And Elam bare the quiver with chariots of men and horsemen, and Kir uncovered the shield.
7 Infahlfal wolana lun Judah nwanala ke chariot; mwet kasrusr fin horse elos tu likin mutunpot lun Jerusalem.
And it shall come to pass, that thy choicest valleys shall be full of chariots, and the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.

And he discovered the covering of Judah, and thou didst look in that day to the armour of the house of the forest.

Ye have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many: and ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool.

And ye have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have ye broken down to fortify the wall.
11 Kowos tuh musai sie mwe neinyuk kof na lulap in siti uh, in nwanak kof ma sororma liki lulu in kof matu. Tusruktu kowos tiana lohang nu sin God su lumahla ma inge nukewa ke pacl loes somla, ac su oru in sikyak.
Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago.
12 LEUM GOD Fulat ac Kulana El tuh pangon kowos in tung ac mwemelil, in mangsrasrala ac nokomang nuknuk yohk eoa.
And in that day did the Master YHWH of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:
13 Kowos tiana oru ma inge a kowos israsr ac orek kufwa. Kowos uniya sheep ac cow in kang, ac kowos numla wain. Kowos fahk, “Kut in mongo ac nimnim, pilani lutu kut ac misa.”
And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die.
14 LEUM GOD Fulat ac Kulana El sifacna kaskas nu sik ac fahk, “Ma koluk se inge ac tiana nunak munas nu selos ke lusenna moul lalos. Nga, LEUM GOD Fulat ac Kulana, pa fahk ma inge.”
And it was revealed in mine ears by YHWH of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Master YHWH of hosts.
15 LEUM GOD Fulat ac Kulana El fahk nu sik nga in som nu yorol Shebna, mwet se ma liyaung inkul fulat sin tokosra, ac fahk nu sel,
Thus saith the Master YHWH of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say,
16 “Mea kom oru ingan? Su lela nu sum in sifacna taflela kulyuk se lom in eot pe eol uh?
What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?
17 Sahp yohk sripom, tusruktu LEUM GOD El ac srukkomyak ac tolkomla.
Behold, YHWH will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee.
18 El ac srukkomyak oana sie ball ac siskomla nu in sie facl lulap. Kom ac misa we sisken chariot ma kom arulana filangkin. Kom sie mwe mwekin nu sin mwet in lohm sin mwet kacto lom.
He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy master's house.
19 LEUM GOD El ac siskomla liki orekma fulat lom, ac eisla wal fulat lom.”
And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down.
20 LEUM GOD El fahk nu sel Shebna, “Ke pacl ma ingan ac sikyak, nga ac sapla nu sin mwet kulansap luk, Eliakim wen natul Hilkiah.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:
21 Nga fah nokmulang ke nuknuk oa ac mwe lohl lun leum, ac sang wal ac ku nukewa lom nu sel. El ac fah oana sie papa nu sin mwet Jerusalem ac mwet Judah.
And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
22 Nga fah sang ku nukewa nu sel yal tokosra, su fwilin tulik natul David. Key nu ke acn fulat nukewa fah oan sel. Ma nukewa el ikasla wangin mwet fah kaliya, ac ma nukewa el kaliya wangin sie fah ikasla.
And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
23 Nga fah kaskilya in arulana ku, oana soko kwi osra sruokyen lohm nuknuk, na ke sripal sou lal nufon ac fah sunakinyuk.
And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.
24 “Tusruktu sou lal ac mwet ma el karingin ac fah mwe elya nu sel. Elos ac sripsripyak kacl oana tup ac pol sripsrip ke osra in sripsrip!
And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.
25 Pacl se ma inge ac sikyak, osra in sripsrip soko ah ac tufwacla ac putatla. Na ac tufah pa ingan saflaiyen ma nukewa ma sripsrip kac.” LEUM GOD pa fahk ma inge.
In that day, saith YHWH of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for YHWH hath spoken it.
