Hosea 12

Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily multiplieth lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.
2 LEUM GOD El ac fahkak ma sutuu lun mwet Judah; El ac oayapa kai mwet Israel ke ouiyen mukuikui lalos. El ac folokin nu selos fal nu ke orekma lalos.
The LORD hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him.
3 Jacob, papa matu tumalos, el tuh alein nu sel Esau, tamulel lal, ke eltal srakna oan insien nina kialtal. Ke Jacob el matula, el anwuk lain God.
He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God:

Yes, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication to him: he found him [in] Beth-el, and there he spoke with us;

Even the LORD God of hosts; the LORD [is] his memorial.

[He is] a merchant, the balances of deceit [are] in his hand: he loveth to oppress.
8 Elos fahk, ‘Kut kasrup. Kut eis mwe insewowo puspis, ac wangin mwet ku in fahk mu kut kasrupi ke inkanek kutasrik.’
And Ephraim said, Yet I have become rich, I have found for myself substance: [in] all my labors they shall find no iniquity in me that [were] sin.
9 Tusruktu nga, LEUM GOD lowos, su pwenkowosla liki Egypt, nga ac sifilpa oru kowos in muta in lohm nuknuk oana ke pacl se nga tuh sun kowos yen mwesis.
And I [that am] the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.

I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes by the ministry of the prophets.
11 Ne ouinge, elos srakna alu nu ke ma sruloala in acn Gilead, ac elos su alu nu kac fah misa. Cow mukul uh kisakinyuk in acn Gilgal, na loang in kisa we fah yolin eot se na inima uh.”
[Is there] iniquity [in] Gilead? surely they are vanity: they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal; yes, their altars [are] as heaps in the furrows of the fields.
12 Papa matu tumasr, Jacob, el tuh enenu in kaing nu Mesopotamia, na el tuh orekma lun siena mukul ac liyaung sheep natul tuh elan ku in eis sie mutan kial.
And Jacob fled into the country of Syria, and Israel served for a wife, and for a wife he kept [sheep].
13 LEUM GOD El supwala sie mwet palu in molela mwet Israel liki moul in kohs lalos in facl Egypt, ac in karinganulosyang.
And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.
14 Mwet Israel elos arulana akkasrkusrakye LEUM GOD, ac fal na elos in misa ke sripen orekma koluk lalos. LEUM GOD El fah kaelos ke sripen elos aklusrongtenyal.
Ephraim provoked [him] to anger most bitterly: therefore will he leave his blood upon him, and his reproach will his Lord return to him.
