< Ezekiel 3 >

1 God El fahk, “Mwet sukawil moul la, kangla book limlim se inge, na kom som kaskas nu sin mwet Israel.”
Moreover he said to me, Son of man, eat what thou findest; eat this roll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.
2 Ouinge nga mangelik, ac El ase book limlim sac ngan kangla.
So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.
3 El fahk, “Mwet sukawil, kangla book limlim se nga sot nu sum uh, ac nwakla insiom kac.” Na nga kangla, ac emwem kac uh oana honey.
And he said to me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat [it]; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
4 Na God El fahk, “Mwet sukawil, fahla nu yurin mwet Israel ac fahk nu selos ma nukewa nga supwekom in fahk nu selos uh.
And he said to me, Son of man, depart, go to the house of Israel, and speak with my words to them.
5 Nga tia supwekom nu ke sie mutunfacl su kom tia kalem ke kas lalos, a nu yurin mwet na Israel.
For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of a hard language, [but] to the house of Israel;
6 Nga funu supwekom nu in kutu mutunfacl lulap su orekmakin kas upa ma kom tia kalem kac, elos lukun lohng kom.
Not to many people of a strange speech and of a hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened to thee.
7 A funu mwet Israel, wangin sie selos ac lungse in lohng kom. Finne nga, elos tia pac lohngyu. Elos nukewa mwet likkeke ac lungse alein.
But the house of Israel will not hearken to thee; for they will not hearken to me: for all the house of Israel [are] impudent and hard-hearted.
8 Inge nga ac oru kom in likkeke ac ku oana elos.
Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.
9 Nga ac oru kom in ku oana sie eot, ac keke oana sie diamond. Nimet sangeng sin mwet orek alein ingo.”
As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they [are] a rebellious house.
10 God El sifilpa fahk, “Mwet sukawil, sang insiom in porongo ac esam ma nukewa nga fahk nu sum uh.
Moreover he said to me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to thee receive in thy heart, and hear with thy ears.
11 Na kom som nu yurin mwet srahm su muta in sruoh, ac fahk nu selos ma nga, LEUM GOD Fulatlana, fahk nu selos, lah elos ac lohng kom ku tia.”
And depart, go to them of the captivity, to the children of thy people, and speak to them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
12 Na ngun lun God srukyuyak, ac nga lohng sie pusra tukuk su fahk, “Kaksakin wolana lun LEUM GOD inkusrao lucng.”
Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, [saying], Blessed [be] the glory of the LORD from his place.
13 Nga lohng pusren posohksok lun ma orekla moul uh tukeni pikpik yen engyeng uh, ac kusen wheel uh su yohk pusra oana pusren kusrusr lulap.
[I heard] also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and the noise of a great rushing.
14 Ac ku lulap lun LEUM GOD tuku nu fuk, ac ke ngun lal usyula nga pulakin inse toasr ac kasrkusrak.
So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.
15 Na nga tuku nu Tel Abib sisken Infacl Chebar, yen ma mwet sruoh elos muta we. Nga muta we len itkosr, ac wela ke ma nga tuh liye ac lohng.
Then I came to them of the captivity at Tel-abib, that dwelt by the river of Kebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.
16 Tukun len itkosr, LEUM GOD El kaskas nu sik
And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
17 ac fahk, “Mwet sukawil, nga orekomla in sie mwet san nu sin mutanfahl Israel, ac kom fah fahkang nu selos kas in sensenkakunulos ke kas ma nga ac sot nu sum.
Son of man, I have made thee a watchman to the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
18 Nga fin akkalemye lah mwet koluk uh ac misa, ac kom tia fahkang nu selos in aolla moul lalos tuh elos in moul, na elos ac misa ke ma koluk lalos, tusruk nga ac filiya mwatan misa lalos fom.
When I say to the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thy hand.
19 A kom fin sang kas in kai nu sin mwet koluk, ac elos tiana forla liki, na elos ac misa ke orekma koluk lalos, na kom ac moul.
Yet if thou shalt warn the wicked, and he shall not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
20 “Ac fin mwet suwoswos uh mutawauk in oru ma koluk, na nga fuhlelosi in muta ke moul fosrnga, elos ac misa ke ma koluk lalos ke sripen kom tia sensenkakunulos. Nga fah tia esam ma wo elos oru meet ah, ac kom ac fah eis mwatan misa lalos.
Again, When a righteous [man] doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thy hand.
21 A kom fin sensenkakin mwet wo in tia oru ma koluk, ac elos lohng kom ac tia oru ma koluk, elos ac moul, ac kom ac oayapa moul.”
Nevertheless if thou shalt warn the righteous [man], that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
22 Nga pulakin ku lun LEUM GOD oan fuk, ac nga lohng ke El fahk nu sik, “Tukakek ac tufokla nu infahlfal uh. Nga fah sramsram nu sum we.”
And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said to me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee.
23 Ouinge nga som nu infahlfal uh, ac nga liye wolana lun LEUM GOD oana ke nga tuh liye sisken Infacl Chebar. Na nga faksufi nu infohk uh.
Then I arose, and went forth into the plain; and behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Kebar: and I fell on my face.
24 Ngun lun God ilyak nu in nga ac tulokinyuyak. Ac LEUM GOD El fahk nu sik, “Fahla, utyak nu in lohm sum an, ac kaliya.
Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spoke with me, and said to me, Go, shut thyself within thy house.
25 Mwet sukwil, kom ac fah kapriyuki ke sucl, ac kom ac tia ku in illa nu in wulil uh.
But thou, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands upon thee, and shall bind thee with them, and thou shalt not go out among them:
26 Nga fah oru tuh loum in ulla, kom in tia ku in fahk kas in sensenkakin nu sin mwet alein inge.
And I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth, that thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a reprover: for they [are] a rebellious house.
27 Na ke nga ac sifilpa kaskas nu sum ac sifil oru kom in ku in kaskas, kom fah fahkang nu selos ma nga, LEUM GOD Fulatlana, fahk uh. Kutu selos ac porongekom, ac kutu ac pilesrekom, mweyen elos sie mutanfahl alein.”
But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say to them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they [are] a rebellious house.
