Ezekiel 21
1 LEUM GOD El kaskas nu sik ac fahk,
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
2 “Kom, mwet sukawil moul la, fahkak kas in lain Jerusalem ac lain yen mwet uh alu we. Sang kas in sensenkakin facl Israel
Son of man, set thy face against Jerusalem, and drop [words] against the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,
3 lah nga, LEUM GOD, fahk mu: ‘Nga mwet lokoalok lowos. Nga ac fwauk cutlass nutik ac unikowosi nukewa, mwet wo ac mwet koluk oana sie.
and say to the land of Israel, Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, and I will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.
4 Nga ac orekmakin cutlass nutik uh in uni mwet nukewa, eir lac nwe epang.
Seeing that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh, from the south to the north;
5 Mwet nukewa fah etu lah nga, LEUM GOD, fwauk tari cutlass nutik, ac nga fah tia sifil folokonang nu yen se.
and all flesh shall know that I Jehovah have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath: it shall not return any more.
6 “Kom, mwet sukawil, sao ac tung ke asor lulap. Sasao yen mwet nukewa ac ku in liye kom we.
Sigh then, thou son of man; with breaking of the loins, and with bitterness sigh before their eyes.
7 Ke elos siyuk sum lah efu kom ku tung, fahk nu selos lah ma ke sripen pweng su tuku inge. Ke pacl se ac tuku, insialos ac arulana sangeng, ac paolos ac atla ac uli, ac kuiyalos ac munasla, ac nialos ac rarrar. Pacl sac pa inge.” LEUM GOD Fulatlana pa fahk ma inge.
And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore dost thou sigh? that thou shalt say, Because of the tidings, for it cometh; and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall languish, and all knees shall melt into water: behold, it cometh; it is here, saith the Lord Jehovah.
8 LEUM GOD El fahk nu sik,
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
9 “Mwet sukawil, palye ac fahk nu sin mwet uh lah mea nga, LEUM GOD, fahk inge: Sie cutlass, aok sie cutlass pa twetela ac aksaromromyeyukla.
Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith Jehovah: Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished.
10 Temyukla in uniya, Aksaromromyeyukla in sarmelik oana sarom uh. Na ac fah wangin enganak yurin mwet luk Mweyen elos pilesru kas in sensen nukewa, oayapa kas in kai.
It is sharpened for sore slaughter, it is furbished that it may glitter. Shall we then make mirth, [saying, ] The sceptre of my son contemneth all wood?
11 Cutlass uh akmusrala tari Ac akola in orekmakinyuk. Temyukla ac akmusrala Tuh in oan inpoun sie mwet akmas.
And he hath given it to be furbished that it may be handled. The sword, — it is sharpened, and it is furbished to give it into the hand of the slayer.
12 Mwet sukawil, wowoyak ke keok; Cutlass se inge ma ac lain mwet luk Oayapa mwet kol nukewa lun mwet Israel. Elos ac anwuki Wi mwet luk nukewa. Puokya iniwom ke supwarla ac wanginla finsrak!
Cry and howl, son of man; for it shall be against my people, it shall be against all the princes of Israel: they are given up to the sword along with my people: smite therefore upon the thigh.

For the trial [is made]; and what if even the contemning sceptre shall be no [more]? saith the Lord Jehovah.
14 “Inge, mwet sukawil, palye ac paspas, na cutlass sac ac pakpuk na pakpuk. Cutlass sac mwe uniya, mwe aksangeng, ac mwe fakfuk.
And thou, son of man, prophesy, and smite thy hands together; for [the strokes of] the sword shall be doubled the third time: it is the sword of the slain, the sword that hath slain the great one, which encompasseth them privily.
15 Ac oru mwet luk in tila pulaik, ac elos ac fahsr tukulkul. Nga aksangengye siti selos ke sie cutlass sarmelik oana sie sarom, su akola in uniya mwet.
In order that the heart may melt, and the stumbling-blocks be multiplied, I have set the threatening sword against all their gates: ah! it is made glittering, it is whetted for the slaughter.

Gather up [strength], go to the right hand, turn thee, go to the left, whithersoever thy face is appointed.

And I myself will smite my hands together, and I will satisfy my fury: I Jehovah have spoken [it].
18 LEUM GOD El kaskas nu sik
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
19 ac fahk, “Mwet sukawil, akilenya lukwa inkanek ma tokosra Babylonia elan ku in ut we wi cutlass natul. Mutaweyen inkanek lukwa inge in tuku ke mutunfacl sefanna. Tulokunak sie akul an yen ma inkanek an sengelik we.
And thou, son of man, set thee two ways, by which the sword of the king of Babylon may come — out of one land shall they both come — and make thee a signpost, make it at the head of the way to the city.
20 Soko in akkalemye nu sin tokosra lah ma ac som nu Rabbah, siti lun mwet Ammon. Ac ma soko ngia, ma ac som nu Judah, nu ke Jerusalem, siti se ma akkeyeyukla ke pot ku.
Appoint a way for the coming of the sword to Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and to Judah at the fenced [city] of Jerusalem.
21 Tokosra lun acn Babylonia el ac tu ke akul ke yen inkanek ah sengelik we. In konauk acn el ac ut we, el usruk sukan pisr natul, na el siyuk kasru sin ma sruloala lal; na el ac lohang nu ke esan kosro soko ma kisakinyukla.
For the king of Babylon standeth at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he shaketh [his] arrows, he inquireth of the teraphim, he looketh in the liver.
22 Inge, lac po layot sel sruok sukan pisr ma akilenya acn ‘Jerusalem’! Ma se inge akkalemye nu sel elan som ac akola polosak mwe fokfok mutunpot uh, na sala ke sasa lun mweun, ac likiya mwe fokfok mutunpot uh sisken pot ah, ac elosak fohk sisken pot uh, ac pukpuk laf.
In his right hand is the lot of Jerusalem to appoint battering-rams, to open the mouth for bloodshed, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering-rams against the gates, to cast mounds, to build siege-towers.
23 Mwet Jerusalem ac tia lulalfongi ma inge mweyen elos orala tari sie wuleang inmasrlolos. Tusruktu kas in palu inge akesmakyalos ke ma koluk lalos, ac akkalemye nu selos lah elos ac fah sruoh.
And this shall be a false divination in their sight, for them that have sworn oaths; but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.
24 Pa inge ma nga, LEUM GOD Fulatlana, fahk uh: Ma koluk lowos kalem sin mwet e nukewa, ac elos etu lupan ma koluk lowos uh. Kalem ke mukuikui nukewa lowos, na nga fah eiskowosyang nu inpoun mwet lokoalok lowos.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye make your iniquity to be remembered in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins appear; because ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.
25 “Kom su mwet kol koluk ac sesuwos lun Israel, len in kaiyuk safla lom pa ac tuku inge.
And thou, profane, wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, at the time of the iniquity of the end,
26 Nga, LEUM GOD Fulatlana, pa fahk ma inge. Eisya tefuro lom ac susu lom an. Wangin ma ac fah sifil oana meet. Akleumye mwet pusisel, ac akpusiselye mwet leum.
— thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Remove the mitre and take off the crown; what is shall be no [more]. Exalt that which is low, and abase that which is high.
27 Musalla! Musalla! Aok, nga fah oru tuh siti sac in musalla. Tusruktu ac fah tia sikyak nwe ke pacl se mwet se ma nga sulela el tuku in kalyei siti uh. El pa nga fah sang siti uh nu se.
I will overturn, overturn, overturn it! This also shall be no [more], until he come whose right it is; and I will give it [to him].
28 “Mwet sukawil, palye ac fahkak ma nga, LEUM GOD Fulatlana, fahk nu sin mwet Ammon, su fahk kas koluk lain mwet Israel. Fahk nu selos: ‘Sie cutlass pa akola in kunausla; Akmusrala tari in uniya, in sarmelik oana sarom uh.
And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus speaketh the Lord Jehovah concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach; and thou shalt say, A sword, a sword is drawn; for the slaughter is it furbished, that it may consume, that it may glitter:
29 Aruruma kowos liye uh tia pwaye, ac ma kowos motko mu ac sikyak uh ma kikiap. Kowos mwet sesuwos ac koluklana. Len in kalya safla lowos ac tuku. Cutlass uh akola in twacla inkwawowos.
whilst they see vanity for thee, whilst they divine a lie unto thee, to lay thee upon the necks of the wicked that are slain, whose day is come at the time of the iniquity of the end.
30 “‘Filiya cutlass an! Nga ac nununkekowos in acn kowos orekla we, in facl su kowos isusla we.
Restore [it] to its sheath. I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy birth.
31 Kowos ac pula kasrkusrak luk ke nga ac fuhleot nu fowos oana sie e firir. Ac nga ac eiskowosyang nu inpoun mwet sulallal, su arulana etu in kunaus mau.
And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow upon thee the fire of my wrath, and give thee into the hand of brutish men, skilful to destroy.
32 Kowos ac fah isisyak ke e. Srah keiwos ac fah sororla fin facl suwos sifacna, ac wangin sie mwet ac esam kowos.’” LEUM GOD pa fahk ma inge.
Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt not be remembered: for I Jehovah have spoken.
