Ezekiel 2

He said to me, “You human, stand up while I speak to you.”
2 Ke pusra sac srakna kaskas, ngun lun God ilyak nu in nga ac tulokinyuyak, ac nga lohng pusra sac sifil fahk,
While he spoke to me, [God’s] Spirit entered me and enabled me to stand up. Then I heard him speak to me.
3 “Mwet sukawil, nga ac supwekomla nu yurin mwet Israel. Elos lainyu ac forla likiyu. Elos srakna lainyu oana papa matu tumalos tuh oru.
He said, “You human, I will send you to the Israeli people. They are people who have turned away from me and rebelled against me. Their ancestors rebelled against me, and they themselves are still rebelling against me.
4 Elos likkeke ac tiana akfulatyeyu, ouinge nga supwekomla in fahkang nu selos ma nga, LEUM GOD Fulatlana, fahk nu selos.
The people to whom I will send you are very stubborn [DOU]. But say to them, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says to you.’
5 Elos finne lohng kom ku tia, elos ac etu lah oasr sie mwet palu muta inmasrlolos.
[when you tell them my messages], perhaps those rebellious people will heed those messages and perhaps they will not heed them, but they will know [you are] a prophet who has been among them.
6 “A kom, mwet sukawil moul la, enenu na kom in tia sangeng selos ku ke kutena ma elos ac fahk. Elos ac lain kom ac srungakom. Ac fah oana kom in muta inmasrlon scorpion uh. Ne ouinge, nikmet sangeng sin mwet likkeke inge, ku ke kutena ma elos ac fahk an.
And you human, you must not be afraid of them or afraid of what they say. [Living among them will be like] living in the midst of briers or scorpions, but do not be afraid of them. They are rebellious people [MTY], but do not allow them to cause you to become afraid.
7 Fahkang nu selos ma nukewa nga sapkin kom in fahk, elos finne lohng ku tia. Esam na lah elos mwet lungse alein.
Tell them my message, but do not expect them to pay attention to it, because they [very] rebellious.
8 “Kom, mwet sukawil, lohng ma nga ac fahk nu sum uh. Nimet lainyu oana elos. Oalngelik oalum ac kang ma nga ac sot nu sum uh.”
But human, you must pay attention to what I say. Do not be rebellious like they are. [Now] open your mouth and eat what I give to you.”
9 Nga liye lac po kokome nu sik ac sruok sie book limlim.
Then, as I watched, I saw his hand that was stretched toward me. In his hand was a scroll.
10 Na pao sac asroelik book limlim sac, ac nga liye lah oasr sim lac lac — kas in asor, tung ac wela pa simla kac.
He unrolled the scroll. On both sides of it were written words that expressed sorrow and mourning and words about trouble/disaster.
