And if thy brother shall not [be] nigh to thee, or if thou shalt not know him, then thou shalt bring it to thy own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother shall seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again.
3 Oru oapana inge kom fin konauk soko donkey, ku nuknuk se, ku kutena ma saya ma tuhlac ku nikinyukla sin mwet Israel wiom.
In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost things of thy brother's, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.
4 “Fin soko donkey ku soko cow nutin sie mwet Israel wiom ikori inkanek uh, nik kom pilesru. Kasrel ac welul tulokunak.
Thou shalt not see thy brother's ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift [them] up again.
5 “Mutan uh in tia nukum nuknuk in mukul, ac mukul in tia nukum nuknuk in mutan. Lumah ouinge uh mwe srungayuk yurin LEUM GOD lowos.
A woman shall not wear that which pertaineth to a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so [are] abomination to the LORD thy God.
6 “Kom fin konauk ahng lun sie won ulun sak uh ku infohk uh ke kientop sac apis atro ku won fusr natul, kom fah tia usla kientop sac.
If a bird's nest shall chance to be before thee in the way on any tree, or on the ground, [whether with] young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:
7 Kom ku in us won fusr uh, tusruk kom enenu in filiya kientop sac, tuh moul lom fah loes ac insewowo.
[But] thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and [that] thou mayest prolong [thy] days.
8 “Ke kom musai sie lohm sasu, esam in orala sie kalkal rauneak mangon lohm uh, na mwet fin putatla liki mangon lohm uh ac misa, ac fah wangin koluk lom kac.
When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou mayest not bring blood upon thy house, if any man shall fall from thence.
9 “Nik kom yukwi sie pac kain in sacn ke ima in grape sunom. Kom fin oru ouinge, ac fah oal nu sum in orekmakin kewana — grape uh ac fahko ke sacn saya.
Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, should be defiled.
10 “Nik kom kapreni cow mukul soko ac donkey soko in tukeni amakin plao nutum.
Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together.
11 “Ke kom orek nuknuk, kom fah tia sisani turet ma orekla ke unen sheep ac turet orekla ke flax in oan ke nuknuk sefanna.
Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, [as] of woolen and linen together.
12 “Orala mwe yun ke turet in oan atla ke sruwasrik akosr ke polo nuknuk afinyom.
Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, with which thou coverest [thyself].
If any man shall take a wife, and go in to her, and hate her,

And give occasions of speech against her, and bring an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:

Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth [the tokens of] the damsel's virginity to the elders of the city in the gate:
16 Papa tumun mutan fusr sac fah fahk nu selos, ‘Nga sang acn nutik in payukyak sin mukul se inge, a inge mukul sac el srungalla.
And the damsel's father shall say to the elders, I gave my daughter to this man for a wife, and he hateth her,
Na el fah laknelik kaot in marut laltal ye mutalos.
And lo, he hath given occasions of speech [against her], saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these [are the tokens of] my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.
18 Na mwet kol lun siti sac fah eis mukul tumun mutan sac ac srunglul.
And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;
19 Elos fah oayapa sap elan moli ipin silver siofok ac sang nu sin papa tumun mutan fusr sac, mweyen mukul sac el tuh akkolukye inen sie mutan virgin lun Israel. Sayen ma inge, mutan sac el ac srakna ma kien mukul sac, ac mukul sac fah tia ku in sisulla ke lusenna moul lal.
And they shall amerce him in a hundred [shekels] of silver, and give [them] to the father of the damsel, because he hath brought an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.
20 “Tusruktu, fin pwaye tukak lun mukul sac, ac wangin mwe akpwaye lah mutan sac el tuh virgin se,
But if this thing shall be true, [and the tokens of] virginity be not found for the damsel:

Ouinge kowos fah sisla ouiya koluk se inge liki Israel.
Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she may die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to be guilty of lewdness in her father's house: so shalt thou remove evil from among you.
22 “Mukul se fin koneyukyak ke el oan yurin mutan kien sie pacna mukul, eltal na kewa fah anwuki. Ouinge kowos fah sisla ouiya koluk se inge liki Israel.
If a man shall be found lying with a woman married to a husband, then they shall both of them die, [both] the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou remove evil from Israel.
If a damsel [that is] a virgin shall be betrothed to a husband, and a man shall find her in the city, and lie with her;

Then ye shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they may die; the damsel, because she cried not, [being] in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbor's wife: so thou shalt remove evil from among you.
25 “Sie mukul fin sruinkuiya mutan fusr se su ako nu sin siena mukul ke eltal muta likin siti uh, na mukul sac mukena fah anwuki.
But if a man shall find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man shall force her, and lie with her; then the man only that lay with her shall die:
26 Wangin ma ac orek nu sin mutan fusr sac, mweyen el tia orala ma koluk ma fal nu ke misa. Ouiya se inge oana ke sie mukul el anwuk nu sin sie pac mukul ac unilya.
But to the damsel thou shalt do nothing; [there is] in the damsel no sin [worthy] of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbor, and slayeth him, even so [is] this matter:
27 Ke sripen eltal muta likin siti uh, mutan sac el ne wowoyak in kasreyuk el, wangin mwet we in kasrel.
For he found her in the field, [and] the betrothed damsel cried, and [there was] none to save her.
If a man shall find a damsel [that is] a virgin, who is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

Then the man that lay with her shall give to the damsel's father fifty [shekels] of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.
30 “Wangin sie mukul fah akmwekinye papa tumal ke orek kosro yurin kutena sin mutan kien papa tumal.
A man shall not take his father's wife, nor discover his father's skirt.
