Amos 1

Yac luo meet liki kusrusr se ma sikyak in acn Israel, God El fahkak nu sel Amos ke ma inge nukewa su ma nu sin mwet Israel. In pacl sac Uzziah el tokosra lun Judah, ac Jeroboam wen natul Jehoash, el tokosra lun Israel.
Here is the message that was given to Amos, a shepherd from Tekoa in Judah. This is what he saw concerning Israel when Uzziah was king of Judah and Jeroboam, son of Jehoash, was king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
2 Amos el fahk, “Pusren LEUM GOD ngirngir Fineol Zion me. Pusracl kasla oana pusren pulahl Jerusalem me. Insroan mah uh paola, Ac sak folfol insroa Fineol Carmel uli.”
And he said, The Lord roars from Zion, he shouts from Jerusalem. The shepherds' pastures wither, the top of Mount Carmel dries up.
3 LEUM GOD El fahk, “Mwet Damascus elos kalweni na in oru ma koluk, ac ke sripa inge pwayena nga fah kalyaelos. Elos arulana sulallal in anwuk nu sin mwet Gilead.
This is what the Lord says: The people of Damascus have repeatedly sinned and so I will not hesitate to punish them, for they beat the people of Gilead with sharp iron threshing tools.
4 Ouinge nga fah supwala e nu fin lohm sin tokosra su musaiyukla sel Tokosra Hazael, ac nga fah esukak pot ku lal Tokosra Benhadad.
So I will send fire down on the house of Hazael and burn up Ben-Hadad's fortresses.
5 Nga fah lipikya mutunpot ke siti Damascus, ac moklela leum lun Betheden ac mwet muta Infahlfal Aven. Mwet Syria ac fah sruhu ac utukla nu Kir.”
I will smash the gates of Damascus, I will cut down those who live in the Valley of Aven, and the ruler from Beth Eden. The people of Aram will be deported as prisoners to the land of Kir, says the Lord.
6 LEUM GOD El fahk, “Mwet Gaza elos kalweni na in oru ma koluk, ac ke sripa inge pwayena nga fah kalyaelos. Elos usla un mwet puspis ac kukakunulosyang in mwet kohs nu sin mwet Edom.
This is what the Lord says: The people of Gaza have repeatedly sinned and so I will not hesitate to punish them, for they sent into exile whole communities, handing them over to Edom.
7 Ouinge nga fah supwala e nu fin pot kuhlusyen siti Gaza, ac esukak pot ku lun acn we.
So I will send down fire on the walls of Gaza and burn up its fortresses.
8 Nga fah sisla mwet leum lun siti Ashdod ac Ashkelon. Nga fah kalyei siti Ekron, ac mwet Philistia nukewa su lula fah misa.”
I will cut down those who live in Ashdod and the ruler of Ashkelon. I will turn to punish Ekron and the Philistines who remain will die, says the Lord God.
9 LEUM GOD El fahk, “Mwet Tyre elos kalweni na in oru ma koluk, ac ke sripa inge pwayena nga fah kalyaelos. Elos usla un mwet puspis nu ke sruoh in acn Edom, ac tia karinganang wuleang in akasrui ma elos tuh orala.
This is what the Lord says: The people of Tyre have repeatedly sinned and so I will not hesitate to punish them, for they exiled whole communities, handing them over to Edom, and did not keep their agreement to help each other as members of the same family.
10 Ke ma inge nga fah supwala e nu fin pot kuhlusyen siti Tyre, ac esukak pot ku we.”
So I will send down fire on the walls of Tyre and burn up its fortresses.
11 LEUM GOD El fahk, “Mwet Edom elos kalweni na in oru ma koluk, ac ke sripa inge pwayena nga fah kalyaelos. Elos ukweya mwet wialos mwet Israel, ac tia pakoten nu selos. Kasrkusrak lalos arulana upa, tiana ku in wanginla.
This is what the Lord says: The people of Edom have repeatedly sinned and so I will not hesitate to punish them, for they hunted down the Israelites to whom they were related, killing them with swords. They attacked without mercy, tearing the Israelites to pieces in an angry rage that never stopped.
12 Ouinge nga fah supwala e nu fin siti Teman, ac esukak pot ku lun Bozrah.”
So I will send down fire on Teman, and I will burn up the fortresses of Bozrah.
13 LEUM GOD El fahk, “Mwet Ammon elos kalweni na in oru ma koluk, ac ke sripa inge pwayena nga fah kalyaelos. Ke sripen elos kena akyokye acn selos elos som mweuni acn Gilead ac tiyala insien mutan pitutu we.
This is what the Lord says: The people of Ammon have repeatedly sinned and so I will not hesitate to punish them, because they ripped open pregnant women in Gilead as part of their war to enlarge their territory.
14 Ke ma inge nga fah supwala e nu fin pot kuhlusyen siti Rabbah, ac esukak pot ku we. Na ac fah oasr pusren sasa ke len in mweun, ac mweun uh fah ngisyak oana paka se.
I will set fire to the walls of Rabbah and burn up its fortresses. There will be shouts on the day of battle which will whirl with rage like a windstorm.
15 Tokosra ac mwet pwapa lal fah utukla nu in sruoh.”
Their king will be sent into exile together with his princes, says the Lord.
